"A promise?" Su Yanruo arched her brows and that's when she noticed a small red velvet box in his hand.
Rong Yixuan carefully opened the small box. Inside the box was placed a beautiful gold plated ring, with a purple amethyst stone carved into two small hearts co-joined together with several small diamonds around it. It was such a unique and beautiful ring.
Su Yanruo gasped when she saw the ring. "Yixuan, what was the need for this?" she asked with an overwhelmed expression.
"Of course, there is a need," Rong Yixuan chuckled. He took her hand and made her wear the ring. "Su Yanruo, this ring is my promise to you - a symbol of my love for you. This ring represents our relationship where we don't belong to ourselves but to each other. This ring represents our that our heart, mind, and soul are connected to each other."
