"Tell me now, where is she?" he roared.
The woman was completely afraid by now. She tried getting out of his grip but no matter how much she struggled against him, it was useless. She could do nothing else but panic. Tears started to stream down from her eyes and she was starting to get breathless. "I- I….." she tried to speak, but nothing came out of her mouth.
She was completely terrified, helpless, and afraid. Many people saw her plight and some of them tried to intervene in the situation, but one look from Rong Yixuan was enough for them to back down.
"Did she tell you to stall my time?" he questioned.
The woman nodded instantly.
Seeing her nod her head, Rong Yixuan loosened his grip on her neck. It was enough for her to breathe but not enough for her to fight against and break free from his grip. "Why did you agree to help her?" he asked her next.
"S-she gave me money," the woman answered him honestly.
