After having a nice talk with her brother, Su Yanruo gave the phone back to Xia Ming. It felt nice to talk to her brother. Infact, she was missing him a lot and her parents, too. This was the first time, she was very far away from her family and so many things has happened to her. Thankfully, her parents were still unaware of her injuries and troubles otherwise, they would have come here to visit regardless of their promise.
"Su Yanruo....."
"Hmm?" Su Yanrruo glanced at Xia Ming with a raised brow.
Xia Ming hesitated. She bit her lips and looked at her anxiously. "M-master, was he angry?"
"A little," Su Yanruo answered. "But, I managed to calm him down. And, don't worry, he won't punish you for this matter."
"But, it was my fault," Xia Ming muttered with a dull face. "I should have been more careful. It was my job to protect you."
