"You good?" Ming Xiaoyu inquired when she saw Rong Yixuan and Wen Jinyang coming back to her.
Rong Yixuan nodded in reply. He took a quick look around the surroundings to look for Xia Ming but was surprised to see her nowhere. "Where's Xia Ming?" he asked. He was worried about whether she had ventured out in the forest alone to look for Su Yanruo.
"She's gone back to the tents," Ming Xiaoyu answered.
"Why?"
"To cool her anger... I guess," she replied.
Rong Yixuan pressed his lips together. Recalling his fight with her, he was feeling a little bad for saying those things to her. He really didn't think that she would bring trouble upon him but he was afraid that she would get into trouble for going inside the forest. He had already failed in protecting the woman he loved and now, he didn't want to put her friends in danger too.
