Su Yanruo was taken aback. Her mouth flew open in surprise. She did not expect him to kneel in front of her. The corner of her mouth twitched and for a second, there was a weird sensation in her heart. It was like a tug of war going on the inside of her. One side was telling her to trust him and the other was reminding her of his betrayal and not to fall for his trap again.
"What are you doing, Rong Yixuan? Get up!!!!" Su Yanruo urged anxiously.
"No," Rong Yixuan shook his head. He hugged her knees and continued to apologize. "Trust me. I didn't want to lie to you, sweetheart. I never thought of playing with your heart. It was never a game for me," he confessed and rubbed her knees.
