11. The fur coat
A woman was trying to fix her expensive new fur coat. Standing in front of the mirror, she was looking this way and that way to see how it looks on her. Her little daughter entered the room and asked, "Mom, don't you understand how much that poor animal would have suffered, just for you to have this coat?" The woman was shocked. She tumed around and cried, "What? How dare you speak like that about your father?"
You give your own meaning to others' words! In all your relationships, so much miscommunication, misunderstanding, incompletion happens only because each person is busy giving their own meaning to others' words.
