"YOU should have died with her!!" a cold voice, filled with deep hatred, and cruelty snapped at her. Bellrose fell on the floor as she coughed out blood, and tightened her grasp on her throat.
"No- No... please... d-don't," Bellrose pleaded as she crawled towards the man's side. He only looked down with her at disgust.
"You killed my beloved, yet- you dare to play innocent? YOU WITCH-!" Crown Prince Ares, yelled at her. His eyes were red, the color of her coughed up blood. He pulled out his sword, ready to attack her.
"I hadn't killed her!" she retorted back, closing her eyes. "I haven't done anything wrong!"
"Wrong? YOU MESSED UP EVERYTHING!" he snapped at her as he charged towards her and grabbed her by the neck and tossed her towards the wall. Bellrose's forehead was crushed against the cold concrete floor. Blood splattered everywhere. But she still kept herself together.
She would do anything wrong, she could be named as the guilty one. The wrong-doer. Anything. The Evil Witch. She would bear to hear everyone call her the Villainess.
But what she couldn't bear...
Was the man she loved the most... call her those things.
"YOUR MAJESTY!" An echo was heard, soon the corridor room was banged open. Bellrose's eyes widened when she looked at the person who opened the door.
The sword fell from the Crown Prince's hands, as it clattered on the floor. Dead air vibes filled everywhere.
"-C...cecil-?" he cried. There was a woman, whose clothes were ripped apart for head to toe, she was barefoot, mud and dirt on her face, and her hair was wild and lose.
Before anything else could happen, the man quickly ran towards the woman named Cecil and embraced her tightly.
Tears overflooded both of their eyes as they both shared a passionate kiss and embraced each other tightly.
Bellrose laid on the ground coughing blood. Her head was already bleeding. Her body was thrashed, and her breath was dampening. She couldn't even think properly.
For now, her mission was to prove to everyone that she wasn't guilty. SHE HASN'T DONE ANYTHING WRONG! She hugged herself. She didn't deserve this.
After years of waiting for the man she loved, years of endurance, jealousy, hatred, that man has never shown her even the slightest bit of affection.
Instead, a homewrecker has taken her place! But of course, the truth that Bellrose had to refuse to accept, was that Cecil... she was truly deserving of his love.
Here she was, Bellrose, dying. On the floor, on the loss of blood.
'H-help... me...' she pleaded inside her head.
"Cecilia... do you know who wronged you?" the Crown Prince said loudly for Bellrose to hear. Bellrose was still coughing blood as she heard that. Her gaze stiffened when he came near her. She moved back.
Her eyes were brimmed with tears of betrayal, and loyalty. There was a tiny fraction of love and affection stored inside her eyes.
'I had only loved you...yet, you hate me,' she stifled her cries and whines.
"..." Cecil said nothing as she watched Bellrose on the corner.
"HER! SHE RUINED YOU! YET YOU NEVER HATE HER!" he screamed at Bellrose.
"P...please... I haven't done anything! I haven't hurt her!" she whined.
"Don't worry, Cecil." Prince Ares said as he patted Cecil. "I'll make sure that witch's family pays. Right now her father is being hung at the state capital. Tomorrow... she will follow."
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY FATHER!" Bellrose yelled at that man. What has he done to her beloved father?? He was innocent! "That's TREASON!"
"SHUT UP!" he screamed at her. Bellrose still couldn't stop whining. "I. Will. Never. Forgive. You."
"My... my father has given you everything... yet... WHY!"
"GUARDS TAKE THIS STUPID WOMAN AWAY! SET HER EXECUTION DATE FOR TOMORROW!"
But before Ares had the chance to finish his sentence- Bellrose reached for the sword far on the floor and with her strength and might charged towards the Crown Prince.
She used up all of her power on the sword. Her last will to protect her father's dignity. Her mother's pride. Her own happiness. This was all left in that sword.
Although Bellrose was not talented in swordsmanship, her anger transferred into the true power of the sword as she aimed it at his stomach.
"I LOVED YOU! BUT YOU ALL HAD TAKEN EVERYTHING FROM ME!" Were her last words as she charged towards the Crown Prince.
Prince Ares's eyes widened as he watched the woman tackle him. Her eyes were filled with hate.
Before she had any chance to attack him, a powerful guard came forward and struck her in her back with his own sword.
Bellrose fell on the floor, immediately after this. Like a lifeless doll, without mercy.
'I'll never forgive you,' she screamed inside her head. 'Never again.'
