Chapter 7 - The “TRY” of Angus (1)

– "In terms of sprinting, Iris is faster than all of us, me including." (Angus)

***

Class I lost.

Under the rules of the base, the losing class would be divided into two groups.

Half of them would go to the canteen to serve as cook assistants, supporting dinner preparation for the whole base, and the other half was responsible for cleaning the canteen and washing dishes after the dinner ended.

When half of class I bleakly went to prepare cooking ingredients and the other half returned to the dorm, gnawing the sadness of losing –

Angus summoned all the members of class K back to the "base" of the recent match.

Class K had no objections. Okay, if he wanted them to come back, they would come back!

As after every match, whether they won or lost, the whole class always gathered for a while.

If they won, gathered to celebrate the victory together. If they lost, gathered to discuss and divide who cooked, who washed the dishes.

But this time, after arriving at the base, they knew that –

Basically there was no such any celebrating or juggling acts here!

The purpose of Angus was asking the two vanguard groups to share and comment on the enemy's lineup and attacking ways, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of some of the outstanding enemy members that they once faced, and then from which he would summarize and draw out some notices or lessons for the next matches.

The expression of all class K members... It was like Angus had just opened up a new horizon for them!

At the beginning of the match, all gathered to analyze the situation and assign tasks to each person, along with a full back-up plan. At the end, all gathered to share experiences and discuss some possible tactics for the next matches.

For the first time, all had their own voice.

Suddenly feel like... This was what a true battle should have!

Compared to the match today, the previous matches just were like childish games!

Amazing!!!

How professional our Leader!

So, from now on, we must observe and learn from our Leader more!

Did not know whether it was because that afternoon they kept calling Angus "Leader" and gradually getting used to it or not, but from then on, all class K started calling Angus "Leader", even when it was not the time of team competition.

At dinner time, all class K members' faces looked like to bloom, only missing the words "I'm the winner" on the face. All of them were eating while chatting excitedly.

At this time, Angus, Neil, Iris, Cody, Hudson and Gilmar were sitting at the same table, eating dinner.

Angus was always quiet as usual, he tended to keep silent when eating. Neil and Hudson were eating while and commenting on the afternoon match, while Gilmar and Cody shared their eating habits.

Only Iris looked a bit worried.

Aftera while hesitating, finally Iris decided to ask, "Leader, why did you give me the mission capturing the flag?"

Everyone on the table stopped moving, all looking at Iris.

Obviously this made Iris become more confused. He tried to explain: "I don't doubt your decision. I'm just a little curious..."

"Hey, yes, that's it!" Edelina, who was sitting in the next table, quickly stood up and took her dinner portion to Angus' table, taking a seat among the six male dragons and asking naturally: "I'm curious, too. In terms of ranking, both I and Hudson rank above Iris, why did you choose him?"

Her voice was not low, so the other members of class K sitting around all heard.

Recalling the match afternoon, no one told anyone, all immediately paused eating and drinking, waiting for Angus' answer.

Angus slowly finished the piece of meat in his mouth and then said, "The ranking counts points of all categories. If it is only about speed, Iris is faster than you two."

Hudson frowned.

Edelina grimaced.

The remaining freshmen were puzzled.

Of course they had faith in Angus. They also knew Iris' results for the running category was good as there were a few times that he even ranked second.

However, it was only "a few times".

Is it possible to base on those "few times" and judge that Iris was faster than Hudson and Edelina?

Ignoring the up and down attitude of classmates, Angus continued to throw the second bomb: "Not only that, in terms of sprinting, he is faster than all of us, me including."

All the freshmen rolled their eyes. Even Iris was speechless.

Faster than Leader?

Faster than the First-ranked of the base, Third-ranked nationwide?

Collecting all everyone's expression into his eyes, the corner of Angus' mouth slightly curled up: "Wanna try?"

"Try? How to try?" The crowd immediately asked.

"Eight o'clock tonight, assemble at the training ground. Who wants to race with Iris, change into sports clothes. Who wants to be audience, just come with casual clothes."
