Mirabelle's indignation brought great satisfaction to the prince. However, the situation with the foreigner girl is yet to be asserted. While he was suffocating her, he caught a weird inscription on the necklace pendant of the girl. The pendant was flat and pear-shaped 🍐 where "Lyria" and "Noyau" were scribed on each side. Hence, the prince assumed that the inscription was perhaps the girl's name. But this surname of hers let him a little perplexed. It was not common to have Noyau which means Core as a surname. Thus, in order to be sure if his assumption, he asked the girl's name. But the girl has no intention to reply to his question. She pertinently knew that the prince was inquiring her name but she turned a deaf ear. The prince didn't want to dwell so long in this matter. Hence he uttered what he supposed was her name, trailing each syllable to see her reaction. Indeed, hearing her first name being called, Lyria was surprised and turned her head in astonishment. On her face was clearly written "How did he guess my name?", thought she didn't utter any sound.
So, the prince repeated the first name while adding the last name.
- "Lyria Noyau"
At this, Lyria squinted her eyes, murmuring in low voice with a hint of irritation :
- "What's the heck is this Noyau thing?! Is he assuming that my last name is Noyau? How did he even come to this conclusion? What a psycho!"
That was the first time that someone dared to treat him as a psycho whilst knowing his status of the prince. Her lack of respect annoyed the prince. Thus, he dryly answered that it was written on her pendant.
Astonished, Lyria grasped her pendant and examined the latter. She saw some scribbles on the pendant but she was unable to draw anything from it. For her, it was just mere scribbles. Thinking that the prince pranked her, she rebuked :
- " Et puis quoi encore ! Ce ne sont que des gribouillis ! tsk..." ("And then what else! These are just scribbles! tsk...")
She then whispered: "Je n'arrive pas à croire qu'il a voulu se jouer de moi!"(" I can't believe he wanted to make fun of me!")
To her response, the prince seriously asked:
- "Es tu illettrée?" (" Are you illiterate?")
She was indignant, faced to this question and snorted:
- " Qui serait illettrée à notre époque ?" ("Who would be illiterate in our time?")
- " Il est évident que tu ne reconnaît aucun traite mot de ce est inscrit sur ton pendentif !" ("It is obvious that you do not recognize any word of what is written on your pendant") uttered the prince. Then, he thought to himself "It seems like I can't entrust Hanaelle's education to this girl".
Indeed, the prince thought he could assign Lyria as his sister's preceptor. For what he observed during their little interaction time, she was fluent in two languages, she has a firm stance in her principle and daring enough to rebuke Mirabelle blatantly and without any fear. That was exactly the kind of person he was searching for to be around his sister during his absence. But unfortunately, she was illiterate. The only trustworthy preceptor he knows were all male. So the queen's people were assigned as Hanaelle's preceptors with the excuse that it was inappropriate. Thus he decided "I will just have her learn how to write in two month's time". He then dryly said:
- " For being irrespective of the royal family members, you'll be assigned to the lowest workforce of this estate!"
The crowd in the room where once again flabbergasted. "This prince doesn't even give face to Alesia's envoy, as expected!" they thought. Mirabelle, on the other hand, was all smile and snorted :
- " Your status as an envoy will not keep you safe from insulting a royal member!"
She then turned to the prince and Saïd:
- " Thank you, imperial brother, I knew you will not let me bé wronged!"
The prince didn't reply to her but just dismissed the crowd gathering in the room as well as Mirabelle and her ladies.
