Diana was a gift to Hyppolita from the gods of Olympus for her repentance, guilt, and love for them and her queendom. Hyppolita wanted a daughter, she wanted to become a mother, but she couldn´t nor any amazon trapped in the magic of the Afrodite's law. The gift to the amazon queen became the greatest gift for the amazons and humanity, for she represents the essence of what is to be human or a conscious being. Her life will be the sole representation of divinity, the greatest characteristic of divinity, Freedom.
Afrodite made water flow from her hands to the land. Hera whispered and the clay took the form of a baby girl. Athena breathed the air that allowed Ares to ignite the flame of life. The body was alive.
Gaia's blessed earth from which she was made, gave her the stability to be the vessel of the many blessings placed upon her, and the potential to improve them even further.
Hera blessed her with womanhood and fertility.
Hermes blessed her with his swiftness, second to none. And gave her inner wings to fly.
Artemis blessed her with universal understanding, meaning she can communicate with all living creatures.
Apollo blessed her with divine protection and healing.
Athena´s breath made her as wise as her.
Ares' flame made her stronger than Heracles and limitless stamina.
But something was still missing, the soul. It came from the void, from nowhere, and inserted itself inside the living body. And the baby cried.
After watching such an unprecedented creation, the king of gods Zeus, decided to cast a blessing, in which he proclaimed the fatherless child, one of his own, giving her his divine powers of thunder and the status of a Demi-goddess, daughter of Zeus.
Hyppolita carried the baby as she was the first person she saw, the baby took her likance, the color of Hippolyta's black hair, her olive skin tone, however, her eyes are like of the god who claimed fatherhood, blue as a cloudless day sky. And as she is blessed by the water of Aphrodite, she took resemblance to the goddess, on pair in beauty. Rejoiced Hyppolita cried.
And for how she came to be, Hyppolita named the child, Diana, Divine.
