The Plaisaint's Residence

Location Oregon, US

It's been a week since I've been transferred to the Plaisaint's estate and much has happened. I found out the hard way that fertiles are forbidden to step outside the estate unsupervised when that witch Officer Jezebel tasered me in the back without while I was looking at the exterior of the mansion. I know it's wrong to hate someone but she can be a real (censored)! Enough about about that incident Miss Leta allowed me to read the books in the study my favorite is Call of the Wild we also talked about interesting things during these discussions I learned a few things about Mr. and Ms. Plaisaint.

Before WW3 Leta Griffith was a professor at Nicholls University specializing in French and Literature. However when the bombs started dropping in 2020 things changed, rather than join the then US military she joined the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent. While working for the IFRC she was a delegate traveling to Canada, Haiti, Guinea, Madagascar, and Belgium. While in Belgium she met Master Sergeant Hawk Plaisaint became friends and after awhile of working together went on a sort of date. It was then that Miss Leta found out that he was a professor in Geology and History at Nicholls as well. After leaving Belgium the two kept in touch when the war finally ended in 2028 he popped the question and a month later they married. After the war however their home of Louisiana along with the other states that touch the Mississippi river had become inhospitable. So the newly weds decided to move to Oregon a state that hadn't been affected by WW3 and got new jobs at Willamette University. For the past seventeen years they focused on career and became extremely wealthy it wasn't until about six months ago that they decided to have children. I just hope I can make that dream come true for them.

Anyway I found out that they had yet to pick a male for me too pair with so at least I won't be getting pregnant soon soon. So yeah other than that nothing big has yet to happen I will say this though I LOVE READING! Back at the camp I used to hate reading the books were so boring they were nothing but etiquette books, health books about reproduction, and penmanship yawn! Ever since I got here started reading I've yet to stop who knows maybe Miss Leta will let me bring some of these books back with me.

Two days ago was the first time I got to leave the estate and go into town it wasn't pretty let me explain. It all started when Mr. Hawk had to go grocery shopping he asked me to come ago so he can have someone help him with the heavy stuff. I probably should have mentioned earlier that during the war Mr. Hawk stepped on a mine that flung him ten feet into the air he lived but his spine was messed up. Normally Gideon would be helping him but he had gotten a stomach flu so it was up to me to help. After the drive as soon as I got out of the guess who handcuffed my left-wrist? If you guessed The Wicked Witch of the West you'd be close nope it was Officer Jezebel. Thankfully she cuffed me to Mr. Hawk's wrist apparently it was part of protocol so I wouldn't run off. I wasn't thrilled but hey I rather be handcuffed to him than to her anyday. Everything went fine at the store we picked up the necessities, I saw some other fertiles who I wanted to talk to but I wasn't allowed to to talk to because apparently it's against the rules and their owners were total donkey's butts. It happened while we were leaving out of nowhere a man charges towards us, screaming his head off, tackles me onto to ground (the handcuffs were take off by then so luckily Mr. Hawk didn't get pulled down too) and then starts slapping like like crazy. His strikes were pretty weak though and he was pretty frial so I pushed him off me with ease what really freaked me out was his eyes. They were all black no whites or iris just pupil after recovering from the shock I bolted to the truck (Mr. Hawk and Officer Jezebel were already in). When I told them about the man's eyes they asked me if I was scratched or bit I checked myself no wounds phew.

When we got back to the estate after picking the groceries I went back to reading in the study I found a book about diseases. Turns out the man who attacked me was displaying the symptoms of Neropoxs. A disease cocktail of rabies, bubonic plague, necrosis, leprosy, and dysarthria with a telltale symptom of black eyes. During WW3 this disease nearly wiped out half of the U.S. I'm just lucky I didn't get infected.

Today The Plaisaint's decided that they would have me pick the male that I am to breed with and I have just the male in mind.
