One day, war broke out between the

two races

After a long battle, the humans were

victorious.

They sealed the monsters underground

with a magic spell.

Many years later...

Legends say that those who climb the

mountain never return

Me? I was daring. I didn't listen...

As I run up the mountain at about

6:00 a.m, I wonder what would

happen if my mom or dad caught me

sneaking. I'm a problem child,at least,

that's what my parents think. If I mess

up one more time, off to military school.

I'm so busy caught in my thoughts, that

I almost fall into a hard-to-miss hole

"Woah!"I yell and my voice echoes around

the rocky cave. Pebbles tumble from the

walls.

I run to get a good look through the hole

and my foot catches on a vine stuck to

the floor

As I fall, my scream bounces off the

cavern walls. The hole seems endless

until I hit the ground...hard!

My head hurts. Everything is spinning.

The last thing I see is the golden bed

of flowers that I landed on before

falling unconscious
