Chapter 2 - Chapter 1: The students

The day that followed was no better than yesterday. After being in the library most of the day preparing for my exams, I ran downstairs to get my things. That's when I overlooked a woman who was holding her books in her hands. Together we fell on the floor. Her books crashed in front of her. Before I could move, she stood up cursing. She was pissed off at me. I could see the brown-haired woman, wearing a white, wide shirt, walking away. Above her black shoes, below her red short jeans, she had a chain on. All the way home I wondered, could I have said something to her, or at least apologized? It was a question I couldn't answer and yet wanted to. But it was too late. As soon as I arrived home, the whole clash was history. I lay in my bed, started reading. It wasn't until the ninth page of a novel that fatigue caught me. The story about a hero who had to save a princess made me tired and lethargic. I opened my eyes and there I was in the library. How did I get there now? I was sitting on the chair and in front of me was a computer. Honestly, I hadn't even realized that this could happen during the day. I looked at the lock screen, which required a code. Above it was a name and everything was clear. Anika Clemson. I closed the computer, looking around. Long hair tucked under my shirt, I could feel it. Lots of people, almost full. I found a bag that was by my chair. I packed up the computer. I ran down the stairs. Who was I, was my first thought. In the restroom, I stood in front of a reflection. A brown haired woman wearing a brown shirt, brown wide pants and brown sandals. Her long hair running down my neck tickled me a little. In her long pants pocket a phone, her phone. A good way to be me again as soon as possible. From her reference, I knew where she lived. I didn't have to do anything but crawl into her bed and fall asleep. I was running out the door when I ran into the woman who ran into me. "Anika, there you are I was looking for you." Of course I was a little tense, but she kept talking. "Come on let's go, we have to go." "Where to?", I wanted to know from her. "To class." It wasn't just that it was going to be boring, but maybe that I would have a chance to get back into my body. She ahead and I beside her, walked down the street. We arrived at a hall that my host should know, but I do not. I looked at her, the hall was just half full. I suggested to her that we sit in the back rows. She looked at me a little suspiciously, but agreed anyway. Together we occupied the back rows. One way I could escape from this body. Of course I unpacked everything and so I lay down and enjoyed the stillness, closing my eyes. What happened next really surprised me. Although I was no longer trapped in this body, instead I became wide awake when I was pushed. I looked forward and suddenly I was sitting in the middle rows. That's not possible, I thought to myself. In front of me lay a notebook on which I had slept. I looked next to me, but the black-haired woman was gone. "Damn it," I cursed inside me. I closed the notebook that was in front of me so I could see who it belonged to. A woman whose name was Léa. You could imagine her as follows: long dark hair, a blue dress with various white dots and also with sandals. More than an hour passed between the changing of the persons. The professor was standing there in front, explaining about chemistry, when in short hand he finished the lesson. I looked for a telephone, but in vain. I couldn't do any worse. "Léa, do you want to come for a drink with us too," a man, perhaps a colleague of hers, asked me. Not knowing where I was or what to do, I decided in short order to go with them. Who knows, maybe there I can return to my body. With a group of people we went to a café. We were sitting around a table when a waitress came to serve us. We all drank a coffee latte, which was the total wrong moment.

While I was waiting, I went to the toilet, sat on the closed lid and closed my eyes. The next time I opened my eyes, I was in the bathtub, completely naked. Are they trying to screw with me here? I got up, grabbed a towel to lay around me and got out. As soon as I could see the mirror, I was the woman I ran into today. An unbelievable image. She had white skin, brown nipples but at least nice curves. I dried myself, found her pants under the sink, which were very tight and her clothes. Shorts and a T-shirt, which actually did not fit at all, because the T-shirt was very tight and you could see my breasts, but what should I do? I opened the door, whereupon I found myself in a hallway. Many people were around me, walking around all the time. What was I supposed to do? Where was I supposed to go? I was able to ask a woman who was walking through next to me where Anika would be. The woman pointed her finger to a room. Immediately I ran there. Sure enough, Anika was there. "Emily," she looked at me. Now I knew what my name was. "Ahm... I'm looking for my room?", I asked her. She looked over at me quizzically. "Are you okay?" she wanted to know. I needed to relax, I told her in a pleasant tone. "I'm your neighbor," she shared. I stepped inside looked around. A table and a bed on one side for each person. This allowed me to take her phone that I could open with her ID before lying on my bed. I scrolled through all their phone, all their assets, were mine. So I was able to access her WhatsApp messages. After entering my own phone number, I messaged myself that I don't know what to do now? It wasn't long before I got a message back from myself. I should just relax and sleep in peace in several hours. Great. How should I do that now? Next to me was the neighbor who knew the host, this was a big obstacle. Nevertheless, I could try it. I crawled into her bed, wanted to sleep, but was prevented again and again. Sometimes I could hear voices outside the door and even my neighbor was talking to someone on the phone. Finally I gave up. I got up, got dressed and started walking around. The house was not big, but had a lot of things going on. I was standing in the middle of the path when suddenly a young man stood in front of me. Blond long hair, slim type but not for me. He asked me where I was. Of course I was not the person he thought I was. He had not found time for my explanation. He told me to follow him. I ran after him, brought myself up on a stage, From the side he told me to start my lecture and pointed to index cards lying on the floor. I then picked them up, read through them all. It was not only that I had stage fright, but I was nervous. In the process, I forgot who I was now at that moment. I could afford to make mistakes. The guests were all talking to each other while others were quiet. I welcomed them to my presentation. Everyone became quiet. Different from what I remembered, I started to talk about the definition of the subject word human rights. Where this existed everywhere and later what could be done about it. I paid attention to the emphasis of the individual words, looked for understanding looks in the audience, what there was actually. I knew immediately that I could really convince some people. At the end I got a big applause, after which an aperitif took place. Satisfied, I drank my fully deserved champagne. It was not long before the convinced guests, probably all rich, who told me how they will support this. The rest of the day I was in her body, helping her with the developments of human rights in countries where they were repressed. The stranger came up to me, praised me and my work, how I had done this well. He also attracted many customers who gathered around him like ravens. I excused myself and took off. I ran everything back to her room. All the lights were off. Her neighbor was already asleep. I, too, crawled into my bed and looked up at the ceiling in the woman's body for the last time before I fell asleep.
