Inside the sect master room, Xia Ming and Ming Yue were standing in front of them were their master Yin Yue, the sect master of the Profound Evil Sect. The two of them were here to ask their master for a permission to join the disciple of the sect in exploring the outer range of the Abyssal Forest.
Staring at Xia Ming and Ming Yue in front of her, the sect master said, "So the two of you wanted to join the other disciple in the exploration?"
"Yes, Master!" the two answered at the same time.
The sect mater were still staring at the two not saying any words for several seconds. The two became uncomfortable as they didn't know what their master were thinking.
The sect master knew that the two of them were strong and they can take care of themselves. Adding Xia Ming's power, she was confident that nothing will happen to them.
"Alright, I agree to your request" the two of them revealed a smile in their face when they heard that the sect master agreed.
The sect master continues, "Since the two of you will be going to the Abyssal Forest. You must also take this time to train in there. There are several powerful beasts there that can definitely help enhance your battle experience"
"Yes, Master!" Xia Ming/ Ming Yue
"Also, a space rift appeared in the inner range of the Abyssal Forest. I want the two of you to go there and investigate the area. If we manage to clear the area surrounding the space rift. We can use send someone to stabilize it and create a gate towards the Floating Cloud Lands" the two were shocked when they heard that a space rift appeared in the Abyssal Forest as their expressions turned serious.
Xia Ming expression were dark and there are bloodthirsty aura coming out of his body. He was thinking about the space rift. The sect master and Ming Yue noticed the change in his aura at the mention of a space rift appearing in the Abyssal Forest. The sect master revealed a smile while Ming Yue just look at him with worry.
The Space Rift, it is a incident where a fabric of space were opened creating a passage towards the other side of the forest. They can use this space rift to travel from Illusory Devil Lands to Floating Cloud Lands if it can be properly managed. It is also because of a space rift that Yin Yue manages to go to the Floating Cloud Lands and take the dying and crippled Xia Ming back to the Profound Evil Sect.
But securing a Space Rift is rather difficult, because whenever it appeared it will always be surrounded by powerful beasts. Those beasts stays near the space rift because of the Qi that it releases.
The sect master dismissed the two after saying what she needed to say. She watch as Xia Ming suppressed back the bloodthirst that were leaking around him.

Outside the Abyssal Forest, there are several young cultivators wearing black and red robes. This young cultivators were disciples of the Profound Evil Sect. Their looks were no different from normal humans except for the Qi that they were releasing. All devil/demon cultivators were releasing a destructive, dark, and sinister Qi around them. Most of their eyes were blood red as it signifies their race.
In front of the young disciples were 3 middle-aged man. Their robes with the disciple were almost the same except for the silver lining in their robes. The 3 of them were outer elders of the Profound Evil Sect and they were them ones that will managed the disciples.
"Listen, today you will enter the outer range of the Abyssal Forest to practice and also to hunt some beast. You will need to group yourselves into four before you can enter the forest. You all will have to stay inside the forest for three days and you will hunt as many beast cores as you can in this span of time. The group who can hunt the most will be greatly rewarded, while those who hunt the least will not receive their allowance in two months. Remember that even though it is still the outer range, if your are not careful enough, you can lose your lives here" one of the elders shouted.
The disciples immediately pair up and created their groups and enter the forest immediately wanting to be ahead of others. After all the disciples entered the forest, two streaks of light from the distance suddenly arrived at the area. The three outer elders were shocked as they didn't even have enough time to react and there were two figures standing in front of them. They immediately readied themselves in a battle as they take out their weapons. But when they take a look at the clothes that the two figures were wearing, they immediately lowered their heads in respect.
"We greet young master Xia Ming"
"We greet young lady Ming Yue" the three elders greet the two.
Xia Ming and Ming Yue were also wearing a black and red robes. The only different is the Five Level Golden Pagoda engrave in the right chest area of their robes. That Five Level Pagoda was the sign of being a core disciple of the sect, while the golden color symbolizes that they were the disciple of the sect master.
"They already enter the forest?" Ming Yue asked the three elders.
"Yes! We were about to follow them when the young master and young lady arrived" one of the elders answer respectfully. Being an outer elder, although they hold some power, but that power were only applicable in a certain area. Knowing that the two core disciple in front of them were much stronger than them, they will certainly be respectful to them.
Ming Yue nodded and said, "Then we will go"
The two then transform in a streak of light and entered the forest. After several seconds, the three elders then followed inside the forest.

Inside the forest, the disciples were fighting against beasts one after another. Though they were young, they were fearless against their enemies. It is one trait of every being in the Illusory Devil Lands to be fearless whatever or how much powerful their opponents are. But being fearless doesn't mean they don't know their limits. If they knew that they have no chance against their opponents, they will immediately issued a retreat. Because of this their performance were great and they avoid being seriously injured of taking casualties.
Xia Ming and Ming Yue were watching their fellow disciples. Although they were only several feet away from them. They can't detect the two even if they wanted to because of the gaps in strength. The group that they were watching was compose of 2 young man and 2 young lady. The group were battling a Giant Purple Eyed Centipede which were rank one of the strongest beast in the outer region.
The giant centipede were clearly not a match against the group as its body were slowly getting cut by the group. Its legs were being severed one by one as the beast continues to cry in pain.
The two continues to watch the disciples until the second day before they enters the inner region towards the space rift.
