Edward's pov
The Dark enclosed wall which I was in could make a man's skeleton shake off his body.the owls of the night whimper in the presence of two men moving in the dark.the wall were coated with brown clay and embedded with strange writings on it.this was definitely uncanny.the light of the blow-torch wasn't enough to clear out the darkness.
I began to waddle close to the strange man I was sent here for;Chimeandel The Great,dressed in brown and white coat as well as his walking stick on his right hand,with his blow-torch on his left.we barely even spoke up to each other.i guessed he was still sober for his daughter's death.What a tragic loss to him!.
At last,we finally got to our checkpoint,a medium-sized room with a long table and stool.Severval books were laid randomly in different location.some of them were nearly arranged on the table.The windows were left shut.Dust filled the air,penetrating into my nostril as I have out a loud cough.Spider webs made this place its home.
Immediately we entered the room,The door mysteriously shut all by itself.i watched in dispair as Chimeandel art on the chair,leaning out some books from his shelf.Now,we were alone,I figured out it was time to require some answers:
"Sire Chimeandel,I need to ask but where am I?what is this place?"
The old man replied to me,commenting with a friendly accent;
"Boy oh boy,This is the second house of Actcartrux.You,my lad are steping on the holy grounds of Mente,The first wizard ever to have lived in Darmich.You are on sacred Soils,my son".
"So,that makes you the....
"A caretaker,a supervisor of this establishment.You know,I am really not prone to visitors.this is very strange".
I walked round the room,seeking out the details of this awkward man as I continued to give out my list of queries:
"So what are you exactly,Chimeandel?"
The old man replied to me as he continued to bring out more ugly-looking books from the shelf:
"I am what everybody seeks.i am everyone and no-one.i am anything addressed in many names.some call me "The Walking Sorcerer" while some address me as Chimeandel"
Edward pressed on for a reasonable cause:
"Great!Another pathetic man with another hidden agenda.But who are you really?are you just another mysery in set for my head?"
The old man laughed at Edward,shaking the table in front of him.he looked up at his first as he uttered these words:
"No,my lad.i am just a Wizard"
Edward stared surprised at the Wreary man.at that point,Everything became clear and bright in his heart.his jumbled mind was filled yet with strange thought about this man.it wasn't much long when he discovered that he was actuallt standing next to a deity. He quickly sat on the chair,intrigued at the old man's identity
"You are the Wizard of the West and a servant of the Four Chronicles of Darmich.i thought you were just a myth"
Chimeandel leaned towards Edward,replying to his comment in a funny manner;
"And I thought I was the Crazy one.some myth are sincere truth,like vampires"
Edward looked at his palm,seeking sorrowful about his predicament.He fell to the floor,begging on the Great Wizard:
"My Lord,I have come a long way to find you.i have crossed the Southern rivers and valleys to Get here.my legs has stepped on grounds unknown and my lips have been soaked in the liquors of the foreign waters but all these wasn't even compared to the Great suffering I passed through getting to this sanctuary.O,my Lord,I need your help and assistance"
"Okay then,so who are you exactly?"
"I am Edward Carnon,a peasant of the small town of..."
Chimeandel reached out for a piece of paper.he slowly unfolded it as he reads the content secretly from the sight of Edward.He rumbled the letter back to his drawer.he spoke up to Edward whom was watching curiously without having the slightest idea about what was going on.
Chimeandel looked up to him once more.he adjusted his chair closer to the table as he spoke up to his visitor:
"A raven flew here two days ago carrying a message.It was directly from Uriel.she mentioned that a cargo in a human fugure was roaming on Cladus City in search for me.i am guessing that corresponds to you,right?"
Edward nodded his head,acknowledging the question thrown to him.Chimeandel continued his speech:
"She also implied that he holds the key to the door of light and darkness and he is...The one"
Edward looked terrified.His eyes stared as the old man stood up from his chair immediately he uttered those words and then instantly,he drew out his two hands out in the air while he spoke on a very high tone:
"...So I ask you again,young man,who are you?!"
"I have told you all I know,I am Edward Carnon,son of the south,Edward replied in fear as the room shakes.
Chimeandel couldn't agree with Edward about his true identity.He wasn't too long at all when the light in the room disappeared,covering all the surface with darkness.The room suddenly became murky as Chimeandel began chanting spells while Edward watches horrified.
A voice in the room called out again:
"What's your true identity?.who are you?"
Edward yelled out once again in the thickened dark room
"I am Edward Carnon"
The room shakes.the windows shut close and the door was ripped in two.Edward could feel the heat of the room burning his flesh.the scene becomes more intense as he watched Chimeandel levitating up in the air,still chanting unknown words.
Suddenly,Edward hands and legs were tied to the chair and so was his waist.
There again,yelled the voice for the third time:
"That's not who you are.what are you?!"
Edward fell downcasted.he felt death slowly approaching.the morbid feeling Chimeandel gave him tarnished him to recall his past memory.he sinks deep in his thought as he shouted out in pain the first thing that came to his mind.his mouth open ajar as the melancholy words came out:
"I am a killer!"
At the utterance of those words,The room was filled with light once more.the room stopped shaking.Chimeandel stepped back to the ground grazing at Edward mumbling about his past intentions.Chimeandelvdrew close as he continued to hear more of Edward's speech;
"I am a murderer,a pitiless murderer.Anywhere I go,massacre happens just like the past incident in Zarmin city and manslaughter of the citizens of Sandroville that lead me to abandon Natalia.i am indeed a walking curse"
Chimeandel approached Edward as his guest began to shed tears beneath him.Chimeandel knew Edward was downcasted about his emotions.he felt pity on him.he saw the mope appearance on his guest face.he continued to ask more question;
"Who is this Natalia whom you speak of?"
"Natalia is the one whom bears my child.she is the reason I decided to depart from Sandroville for my life was hunted down by unknown men.she is my heartbeat."
Chimeandel took each and every word Edward spoke into consideration.As he continued to analyse the words,he discovered a strange statement Edward uttered that gave him a query;
"Did you say unknown men are out for your head?"
Edward rose up,looking upright at the old man.he immediately answered without hesitation to his question:
"Yes,unknown men of black clad and mysterious behaviour.they travel in erratic movement.they have been chasing me for years"
Chimeandel looked surprised at Edward.Scared and restless,he began to deliver more books on the table as he continue to shoot out questions to Edward;
"Hmm...strange men on black clothes.did you see anything apart from these men?maybe something quite distinct from that?"
Edward held his jaw,thinking deep in his mind.
"While I was escaping in Captens Borough with Uriel,we both hid in a hut from a man,we counldnt see this figure.all we saw was his feet,his white horse and...remember this horrid man held a blade of iron and fire".
Chimeandel looked like he was in a nerve-racking situation.he was like his brain was jammed by the miscellancy of Edward's information he scrolled from book to book,looking for Intel about this query.he went on slowy talking under his tongue to Edward
"The sword of flame,white horse,dark hunters...I can't find any solution nor information about these men.it sounds closely linked to the man of the blade of fire.Do you have anymore to say?"
Edward quickly reached out for his pocket as he grabbed a scarf.he laid it on the table out wide in the open.at the sight of the scarf which was inscribed in strange symbols and writings,The old man began to tremble.Edward watched as he replied to him;

"I took this from inside the council room in Zarmin city.Does this mean anything to you?"
Chimeandel looked in fear.he quickly threw away the scarf from the table.he landed down on his chair as he was looking muted at Edward whom now guessed he had hit the most crucial point of their conversation;
"So,I now know you indeed know that symbol.please,tell me,what the hell is that?"
Chimeandel looks towards Edward.he knew that Edward would discover the truth even though he knew nothing about it but still,The Great Druid had to expose the truth to his guest;
"That symbol is a very old one.long lost to be precise.A symbol of Black magic.That is the sign of the Anicent"
"Sign of the Anicent?What the hell does these strange men want and who are they?"
Chimeandel replies in a bold accent;
They were once men,dead men buried a long time ago but during the War of the souls,they were resurrected by an evil power whom was vanquished a long time ago.these men serve the darkness and died with the darkness but according to legend,they will come back with the only goal and aim - to find the Everlasting.they are only just dead souls...
Chimeandel paused as he got out his book on his table showing Edward the symbol as he continued to speak;
"...they are immortal deadly killing machines.they will go from coast to coast to find their goal.they will stop at nothing to find the Everlasting".
At the utterance of the final words,Edward looked up in fear.he watched as Chimeandel finshed his speech.Edward slowly began to process;from his home to the east and to Zarmin to Cladus city.he paused for a minute.he stared confused.he suddenly looked at Chimeandel suspiciously;
"So what you are implying is that..."
"You,Edward Carnon,you are the reason of your own killing spree.you are the the Everlasting"
Edward looked in horror.he wasn't pretty pleased of this.he got utterly pissed off as he tries to walk out the door yelling;
"No!,no!!,no!!!.I don't want to be in this magic trick show.i don't!.I came here for answers and not to be mind-corrupt by a nasty bedtime story and a freaky art design"
Chimeandel stood up,quickly addressing Edward;
"You said you left home but did you know that that wasn't your making?you were not forced to leave your home.the spirit on you decided that.that spirit wants to survive from the demons chasing you so whether you like it or not,you and that spirit are connected.you both are trying to survive and wherever you go,you will be hunted"
Edward paused.he turned back as Chimeandel continued his speech;
"Now,Edward Carnon,do you want to survive your demons or you want to live out the rest of your life being hunted down from coast to coast like a walking curse?"
Edward,tangled in the situation he was in couldnt agree more to what Chimeandel was implying.he turned the chair,sitting uncomfortably next to Chimeandel.Edward,now a troubled an spoke to the wizard;
"If I am the so-called Everlasting,what am I to them?Why do they chase me?"
"They seek what they need.A significance of our very existence.The same artefact that made you a demon"
"What will that be,Great one?"
"The Niggma moon Crystal"
Chimeandel opened up a text in a book,showing Edward the orb-like artefact as a description.he explained further to Edward about this strange object;
"The Niggma moon Crystal hold the most powerful magic on this earth.this powerful magic belonged to the God of life himself.After the war,he and several of his trusted companions embedded all his magic inside the stone,trapping it inside the earth for on one to see.
Buried deep in the soil,they hid it from the eyes of men.No one has found it.not even the living souls of Darmich,The men,Trabumas.Even the famous Gornan,Kings among thieves never acquired it but except one man.Edward,I am afraid you were the unlucky one whom found the crystal"
Edward stared confused at Chimeandel words.
"Me?!,I never found any Crystal. I hardly even dig for gold nor silver.i was just a regular farm boy"
Chimeandel made a mirth as he pats Edward on the Shoulder.he sat back on his chair as he talks to Edward;
"Shame to you,mister Carnon.why would you lie to a Wizard?Did you or nor find an orb secretly positioned in the soil of your town?That dry Cystal in which you yelled out to your friends about?"
"How did you know that?!.That was a long time ago.Nevertheless,I just held the crystal and dropped it back to the earth
Chimeandel moved his chair forward to Edward,giving him the most pressing news of his life;
"Show me your neck at the right side"
Edward removed his shirt as Chimeandel looks.There,he saw a strange symbol drawn boldly on Edward's neck;
"There is a symbol on your neck,This symbol...",Chimeandel opens another text in the books.

Edward looks as he sees this strange description.he began to freak out,yelling to Chimeandel
"Save my heart!I never knew this was on my neck!Uriel must have seen this.what the hell is this?"
"That's the inscription of the Everlasting,The Everlasting italics.i am sorry to tell you this but at that moment you held that crystal,half of its mystical powers flowed through you,Edward Carnon"
Edward looked in horror.he looked transfixed at the old man's comment.he began to have shaky murmurs;
"So...you mean..that I have..."
"Magic,son.you have magic flowing through your veins but not just Magic,Vampiric magic.That's really rare"
Edward looks in shock.Chimeandel might have totally spoilt his day.The Wizard went on,speaking much more to his guest;
"On the day you held the moon Crystal,The magical limit was too much for your soul to handle that it began to encounter a split-magical personality which eventually gave you a vampire body with magical powers.Thats why you have thirst for blood and why you usually became a manslaughter every Akmoon day.As a matter of fact,you are not just any gifted man nor ordinary vampire,Edward.you are the only thing standing between life and death"
Edward stood up.he was completely psychologically indisposed about the whole truth.he felt unfamiliar with the truth.Annoyed and unimpressed,he spoke to Chimeandel;
"What does that mean?"
"You will get to know someday"
Edward instantly shouts violently;
"I don't want this gift,I never required for this.i wonder what kind of coolness got me into encountering that crystal in the woods.i never should have gone there.No!,this is bullshit,Another arena to fuck me up.i don't believe this"
Chimeandel stood up as he reaches out for Edward whom was now depressed by his actions;
"We don't really choose our fate.it chooses us.we only attain them on how we try to live.i know you never asked for the truth to be so unprocessable but here we are.
Edward looked depressed.Chimeandel could see in his visitor's eyes that he didnt believe any of these sane words he uttered.At that moment,there was only one thing Chimeandel had in mind for his guest to believe in the truth.
The wizard of the west,Chimeandel spoke up to Edward,
"Let's go somewhere for a quick visit"
Instantly,Chimeandel began to chair,speaking up in different spells.the spells went on and on until in a blink of an eye,Edward and the Wizard were transported in an unclear and unfamiliar environment.
Edward looked in fear
He couldn't picture out what he he saw.
He got terrified as he asked Chimeandel whom was standing next to him;
"Um...Chimeandel...where are we?"
"Memory,my lad,to find the truth.Come on now.lets not be late for the ceremony!"
Edward runs towards the crowd of strange looking people in neatly dressed attires as Chimeandel led him to an unknown place - of unknown wonders!...
To be continued....
