Eva grabbed her new weapon and tried some stabs and swings but didn't say anything about it. John thought that he made the weapon satisfactory as he didn't hear a...tch... from Eva so he felt like he achieved something.
John, Erika, and Eva readied themselves and started traveling to the position they thought the colossus would be.
After half an hour they started to find traces of battles, deep mounds in the ground, wreckage of carriages, and even ruins of what was a village. They walked inside and a heavy feeling of guilt overcame John, he kneed down and picked up a simple doll that a child must have dropped, there were even some traces of blood on it. John became endlessly angry at himself, and a dark aura once emerged from his body.
"John calm down!" Erika said while she was holding John's shoulders when suddenly the earth started to rumble in rhythmic intervals. They looked around to find the source but they couldn't locate it when suddenly something broke through a ruined house behind them. And there it stood clad in black armor plates surrounded by the same dark aura as John, the Angersteel Colossus.
Something strange seemed to happen when John turned around, his dark Aura seemed to be attracted by the Colossus and flew to him.
Eva cursed at the sight of the Colossus that seemed to get strengthened by Johns's anger: "...tch...we didn't monitor you for just some weeks and this is the result...why did we allow you play the game anyway..." Then Eva charged at the Colossus with her glaive followed by Erika. Her glaive drew a silvery glimmer behind her when she ran but before she and Erika could attack the Colossus they had to evade a giant fist. Erika jumped to the side and continued running around the Colossus to get behind him, while Eva jumped onto the Arm that tried to hit them and climbed up. John ran over too, striking the colossus foot with a mighty swing of his hammer but he didn't even cause a scratch and the hammer nearly flew out of his hands.
Erika tried a different approach as she was trained and used to fighting, she tried to attack the weak point between to armor plates guarding the Joint of the foot. But her attack also did nothing, but just as she was pulling back her ax the colossus turned around with speed no one expected from such a big construct. The colossus once again tried to hit Erika with his fist but even though Erika tried to evade it her arm was still grazed by the fist and was dislocated. She retreated several steps back and breathed heavily even though the game was reducing the amount of pain you experienced but her wound was still rather painful. Eva was still climbing but before she could even reach the shoulder of the colossus she had to jump down or else she would have been grabbed by the colossus. The three of them retreated several steps back and grouped back together. Erika made a fist with her dislocated arm and turned it towards her body and her shoulder jumped back into place with a crack.
Several groups of players saw them fight and decided that they wanted to help. The first group consisting of mostly mages started chanting and fired a volley of fireballs at the colossus and hit it on the back of the head. But the group experienced the echo when and giant piece of a building the colossus threw wiped out the entire group only leaving behind a cloud of blood. At this sight, a group of melee players wanted to stop their charge and retreat but before anyone could react a swing of the colossus's fist ended their life instantaneously. The third group now terrified and frozen in fear were crushed by the giant foot of the colossus. But John, Eva, and Erika just looked at each other and nodded, they grabbed their weapons tighter and charged the colossus with a warcry on their lips...
...Scrappy was finished with the fire-lizard and quickly repoured his scrap into new bars that now had a deeper and richer brown color with specks of green scattered on the surface. When they were cooled down enough he quickly grabbed them but when he wanted to put the ingots and the scales into his bucket he had a problem, his bucket was too small. The troglodytes saw that and the troglodyte that was dressed like a leader quickly roared at his servants which ran back to the temple. The troglodytes were in awe of scrappy as they were delicacies for every dragon. They recently found a disfigured dragon corpse in the mountains and when they looked at the corpse scrappy left behind now the knew it was him that killed both dragons. And two dead dragons was huge for them as hundreds of them would not be eaten this year. After some minutes of angry hammering on his bucket to fit all his scrap inside a troglodyte came near scrappy, at first he was ignored by scrappy but he laid down on the ground and presented a black gem to scrappy. Scrappy turned around and grabbed the gem and inspected it. The troglodyte made some signs with his hands but scrappy didn't understand. Them the troglodyte grabbed a rock and started carving on the floor, first he drew the bucket scrappy had and added a drawing of the black gem to it. Now scrappy understood he quickly carved a recess into his bucket and attached the gem. Suddenly was filled with a pitch-black substance that seemed to even suck the light inside. At first, Scrappy was surprised but then the troglodyte let a rock fall into the black substance and it vanished. Next, he put his hand inside grabbed something and pulled out the stone again. Scrappy understood and quickly threw all his scrap inside. As thanks for the spatial gem that resolved his storage issue, Scrappy ran to the lizard corpse and cut off its head and gave it to the troglodyte after which he happily jumping carried on with his journey leaving behind the whole nation of the troglodytes bowing...
