Neil took Angel to his parents, they were sitting with Kyle and Gina at that time.
When Neil and Angel reached there, Kyle and Gina left there seats and stand.
Kyle came to Neil and escorted them, he made Angel and Neil sit and he stand beside Neil.
" Thanks a lot Mr. Richardson for coming on my sister's birthday" said Kyle.
" Pleasure is all mine Kyle" Neil replied politely and signalled him to sit.
" Good evening Mrs. Johnson, the party is great, thanks for the invitation" said Neil.
" Oh, I should be the one thanking you Neil, you make time to appear in a private party it is so kind of you, my daughter Sonia is your big fan, she just wanted you to wish her birthday, you made her day" replied Gina.
Gina looked at Angel but ignored her completely " Mr. Richardson, June I must say you will be proud of him, he is so good in business and his acting career is also great"
said Gina while looking at Jack and June.
Angel noticed that she wanted her future in- laws to detest her. If she was the girl one and a half year ago she would panick, but now she knew how to tackle these situations.
Angel say there quitely and observed everything, she waited Gina to shut up and never once gave impression that she was irritated or worried.
Kyle on the other hand took Alex, When Gina saw Alex her expression changed immediately and she gave cold stares to her son, Angel noticed this and understood the situation.
When Angel saw Alex she was surprised because not everyone could carry that revealing dress confidently but Alex was so confident and comfortable.
Alex came and greeted everyone except for Gina.
Kyle introduced Alex as her close friend. Obviously Gina was not happy. Alex on the other hand was very happy, she ignored everyone and sat beside Angel.
Alex- " Hey, I am Alex, what's your name?"
Angel- " hello, I am Angel"
Alex- " Oh you are really pretty, I really liked your dress, it's simple but classy, you looked like a little fairy in it".
Angel - " Thanks a lot, I must say you are stunning Alex, not everyone can carry this clothing well".
Angel got her chance and she talked to Kyle, " how are you Mr. Johnson"
" I am fine, Angel. How are you doing, do you like the party" said Kyle politely.
" You know Kyle" asked Alex.
" Yeah, he is the New CEO of the company I used to work" replied Angel.
" You can still join us anytime, Angel" said Kyle.
Gina was listening to their conversation, she didn't want this to continue so to interrupt them she said " Neil, Mr. Richardson and June it will be nice if you join us for dinner, it's almost time for toast".
She intentionally didn't invite Angel. When June saw Gina's ignorant behaviour towards Angel she was very disappointed, she wanted her daughter-in- law to be respected, that's why she wanted Neil to marry Sonia but his son took this girl. She looked at Angel with disappointment her appearance was not bad but Sonia was on a different level, from her clothes to Jewellery to makeup even her background was best but this girl she couldn't even introduced herself in front of Gina.
Every one was leaving with Gina but Angel was still seated, when Neil saw Angel was not coming he turned back and asked " why are you not coming with us Angel? "
Everyone stopped and turned around Angel was still sitting on the spot, she said while looking on her legs " I am not feeling well Neil, I am tired, I think I should go back to hospital".
When Neil heard that he ran towards her he sat on her knees be Angel's side and asked " What happened, are you hurt somewhere?"
Jack and June also came back, even Kyle and Alex stopped walking and went to her.
Only Gina was standing on her spot.
" My leg hurts badly, I can't walk" said Angel.
" Let me look at it" said Neil, and then he removed her sandles, and started moving her leg, he pressed some points and moved her ankle, then her Knees.
Everyone saw how gently Neil was treating Angel, how concerned he was for Angel, Gina gritted her teeth when she saw that.
Neil looked at her parents and said " Mom, Dad , I don't think I could accompany you for dinner, I should take Angel to hospital, you people carry on with dinner".
" What are you talking about Neil, we will leave with you too" said Jack.
" Oh, dear your Dad is telling right we should head home first, you can call the doctor their, it's late take her home" said June.
Then Neil looked at Angel and said " You should tell us before, we would leave immediately, nothing is more important than your health".
Gina felt somebody had slapped her hard, a few minutes before she ignored Angel to make her feel that she was not important and now suddenly she got all the attention.
" It's okey Neil, we have been moving one place to another past two days, I am just tired, I will be fine after some rest, just send more to the hospital, and you don't need to accompany me, I will go with Mr. Freddy, you should continue the dinner" said Angel when looking at Gina.
Neil noticed that Angel was looking at Gina, he grabbed Angel's hand and said " I am sorry, I shouldn't take you here, you didn't recovered completely".
" You don't need to apologise Neil, I should be the one apologising I Spoiled everyone's mood, I just came here because I wanted to meet your parents but I ruined their mood, everything would be fine if I didn't come here, they must have enjoyed the party" said Angel.
" What are you talking about dear, I only came here because Neil said he will be taking you, or else I am not interested in parties dear, and we have decided to visit Neil's grandparents this weekend but we postponed it because we wanted to meet you" said Jack.
Jack's words hit straight to Gina's heart, she thought if she ignored Angel it would affact, Jack and June but it seemed her behaviour didn't matter to them, they totally ignored her.
Gina looked at Kyle, but he was standing there calmly as a audience but he had already called the doctor, Alex escorted the Doctor in the lounge.
Doctor checked Angel and then made her do some exercise after that he told Angel to try walking slowly, Angel tried walking and it didn't hurt.
" Doctor is she fine?" asked Neil.
" She is fine, there is no problem with her knee , she is just exhausted, she would be better after some rest" Doctor replied.
Gina on the other side was very tensed because she had promised Sonia that Neil would attend her birthday dinner, but things were going out of hands. Finally she decided to lower her pride and said " Neil I think you should stay for the dinner and Miss Angel you should join us too, you are weak you should take your meals on time, it's almost time for dinner, please accompany us it's a request".
June looked at Gina and said " I think Gina is saying right, you are exhausted you should eat first, you will be energized after you eat something, and we didn't get the chance to talk to eachother, we can talk during dinner" .
Angel looked at Neil, He nodded in agreement.
After that everyone moved towards the hall.
