Xiu Mei continued recharging her energy by hugging Lu Qiang tightly in her arms. The little kiddo, however, enjoyed the intimacy his mom was showing and did his best to hug her arm trying to return the fervor.
As the two continued having their own little world, Lu Chen narrowed his eyes as he continued eyeing them for quite a while now. Distracted from reading his emails and other documents, he watched the two getting sticky with each other and crossed his arms.
Lu Chen couldn't understand what he was feeling right now. He feels… irritated by the scene in front of him. He couldn't understand why but he was itching to squeeze in between the two of them to put some distance but he didn't act on his urges.
His fists clenched and unclenched multiple times as he tried to push down the annoyance he was feeling. He cooled down himself and shifted his attention back to the screen of his laptop where rows of words flashed in front of him.
