"I want to start construction in a different place... to build a building for each department," said a man wearing a long slim-fit suit standing in the middle of the conference room. This man was very elegant, with a bit of arrogance in his eyes as he had been in a high position for a long time. He glanced around, and almost no one dared to look at him.
In the end, he looked respectfully at the seat in the middle.
Everyone else's eyes also looked at the middle position, where a man was sitting in the middle of the long table like a star holding the moon.
He was probably of mixed race, with astonishingly white hair. His eyes were green.
He is the master of the special operations team, and he is the leader of these people.
With short white hair, green eyes, an enchanting appearance, and a face as cold as ice, it was impossible to tell whether he was a real person or just a perfect fantasy. He had many identities, but the one he is best known to people in the city A is as the CEO of Spencer Company.
"After fifteen minutes, each group will go on stage to report on their work." A person behind Brandon stood up. Olivia was Brandon's Teacher. She was more like Brandon's assistant at work, doing everything for him that he didn't bother to do.
The conversation in the conference room was not loud because anyone with a discerning eye could see that Mr. Spencer was upset. The subordinates of the company tried their best to guess the reason why their CEO was upset. Perhaps it was because of the recent turmoil in the department. Maybe it was because of the upcoming projects? Maybe it was because of personal feelings?
Seemingly thinking of the recent sensational news about Mr. Spencer, several gossiping subordinates immediately looked at each other and smiled.
Brandon glanced at his watch with an ugly expression, then looked at Olivia.
"Seven forty."
Olivia chuckled; someone was late. In fact, Crystal was rarely late, and she would show up at the time when she made an appointment to meet at 7:30.
Olivia smiled slightly, realizing that she was about to say something.
"Miss Ford entered the city hall ten minutes ago and is expected to appear in front of us in less than half a minute."
"Is the VIP elevator in the city hall broken? I don't know how to get to the first floor to the thirteenth floor. It will take ten minutes to get to the thirteenth floor."
"Do you think I won't know what happened if you don't report it to me?"
Olivia smiled playfully at him.
"It's just a small thing. If you don't like it, go ahead. Such a trivial matter will never happen again."
Brandon snorted.
Sure enough, as soon as he finished speaking, there was a knock on the door of the conference room. Brandon's eyes on the file remained motionless, but his hand holding the armrest was still. Olivia then gestured to open the door.
The sound of discussion did not stop as she entered. Crystal stood aside holding a thermos cup. The soft carpet was wet beneath her, leaving a wet mess. The water damage made her feel out of place.
"Why are you here?"
