Enchanting gaze filled with tranquility, voice as sweet as caramel, displaying proper etiquette with a tinge of humor making my Boss a perfect creation of humanity. A young CEO, still in the '20s, who rose to fame early is now on the magazine covers of the Global business index's latest edition. Before being my boss, he is actually my strength, my motivation, my positivity, and my fated alpha lover.

I sighed as I place the magazine in my drawer and laid my head on the desk. I recognized that something was definitely odd. The piercing gaze of someone made me jump out in excitement and I banged my head with my team leader.
"The first thing I observe in the morning is my unmotivated team member. Sure, you meant to doze off, but only in the comfort of your home. You have an interview today with the new girl band, SO BE PREPARED." my team leader spoke commandingly as I stood up and bowed to him.
I nodded in affirmation, but then soon realized that my schedule for today didn't include any meeting. I compiled my files on my desk and ran behind him.
"Sir, if I may ask, I have to just cover a few articles today and nothing more was accompanied with that," I spoke in a polite manner so as not to spoil his and my mood by making him angry again.
"The first thing you do is doze off and now when I assign you a task, the second thing you do is complain about it."
Mr. Thomas, my new team leader, gave me an obnoxious look before continuing further, "You are required to interview the rising girl group band, 'CYBELE' as Ms. Lee and Mr.Yang are away on a trip. I want you to cover every single detail.
Also, no specific reason for assigning you this work. So, I don't think there is space for more questions. Be ready at 5 in the evening, " he then gestured me the way out as I stood there, stunned.
No special reason, he says, but I think he has one, yes, again a pitiful omega suffering a low-class treatment while in his heat cycle. It's natural to feel tired, but I have actually mastered situations like this.
My fate has never actually listened to me and I was considered a nobody by the majority up to a certain period of time. To be honest, growing up was not tough as I excelled initially, but my teen years were something you all are already aware of as they were the beginning of my unfortunate life. Maybe because of that, I felt lonely most of the time and in order to overcome it, I got myself indulged in writing stuff.
I am Kiro (Sarang), currently working as a content writer for a famous entertainment company. I was desperate to have a job and my dream was fulfilled through this company. Everybody in this company admires Andrew as he is the CEO and most of the people, I guess, know our relationship.
But they keep quiet because I have not made it public yet and because of those rumors, my new team leader always seems angry with me. But I don't care when I know that the only thing he can do is make me work overtime and assign unnecessary tasks.

5 PM, CYBELE'S COMPANY...
"So, I am just scheduled to interview the girl band and then I am done for today. I wonder if I should visit my brother today or head home directly to Andrew."
As I was busy figuring out where to go or visit both, I saw a girl collapsing right in front of me. I stood up from my place, the sofa I was waiting on, and rushed to help her. Her breath was steady, and she seemed somewhat dizzy. Her hair was covering her face and so, without looking at her, I supported her to stand on her own feet.
I seated her on the sofa and fetched some water from the water purifier. As soon as I came back, she was gone. I asked the receptionist about her, but she feigned ignorance. The staff here is sure impolite or maybe they are busy enough not to care about trivial matters.
I hope she was fine and then as I was about to sit down again. I got called into the office. I pressed the 3rd floor on the lift. I hope everything goes smoothly, then I will visit Hyung too. The doors to the lift opened as I reached my destination. I hurried outside while practicing my questions once again. Since it was my first time interviewing a girl band and their first time with a publishing company, I wanted to make the atmosphere friendly.
I knocked and entered the room. The girls were sitting on the sofa in the front and I was told to sit on the chair beside them. At just one look, I could tell how gorgeous they all looked. We all greeted each other and after some formal talking, we started the interview.
They were a group of five members and hence I started my question with the leader of the group. The younger one was still attending school. The interview went on smoothly with no fumbling from our sides. They all were so nice and surely talented.
As I wrapped up my things after taking a selfie with the group, I headed out. I wanted to reach home on time because I knew Andrew was not aware of my schedule and neither did I inform him.
As I reached for my phone in my pocket, a member of the girl group interrupted me and demanded some of my time. As expected, her aura was different and somehow I knew she was an alpha. So, I could not deny her request. The second gender of celebrities is not revealed. Although things are changing for good, many believe that it can cause a public uproar.
We went to the company's cafeteria, just the two of us, and ordered our drinks. I became somewhat nervous, or maybe my omega gender was showing its characteristics. Also, I knew my heat played a major part in my tiredness. We sat there and waited until we received our order.
I took a sip from my drink and glanced at her. Of course, I was clueless about the whole situation, and also looking at a beautiful person beside me made me a little nervous.
"I am a little disappointed since you didn't recognize me, Mr. Kiro," she spoke, looking down at her drink and calmly sipping from her freshly prepared juice while on the other side, I started coughing. Some of my juice slipped beside my glass, but I ignored it.
I looked at her straight this time and then at her clothes and ran into my memories without bothering to wipe my mouth. Every time someone asks me this question, I think first carefully.
Actually, I have to think before answering. I have to make sure that this person is from the time I was in that omega cafe or after that. So, I always answer carefully.
I concluded she was the same girl that fell in the hall.
"Oh, are you feeling alright now? I'm sorry I didn't recognize you earlier. But it was you who went away after I hurried to get you some water," I told her while I inquired about her well-being.
She looked up at me and our eyes met. I felt a chill down my spine as I contacted her for some time. She raised her hand as I followed it with my eyes. Then she placed it in front of her face and covered the lower half. Only her eyes were visible now and she approached me in the same position. "Now, do you remember anything else besides the incident of my falling?"
At that moment, my body received a rush of adrenaline and my pupils probably dilated at her words. Because as I sat in front of the girl who I recognized immediately just with those eyes while I tried to calm my racing heart.
To be continued.....
Sneak peek at the next chapter...
"Sarang, we were worried about you?" My brother, Kiro, asked me while checking me from up to down.
"Brother, you are just overreacting. You see, I am not a kid anymore, and why did you even call Andrew?" I scoffed and looked away in order to not make eye contact with Andrew.
Upon hearing my words, my brother backed away a little and spoke hesitantly "Ah! yes, I'm sorry I just got overly worried. Right!" But his head then drooped a little while he went away saying that he would make us something warm to drink.
