Steve jabbed forward with his sword and pieced the fabric of the gremlin's jerkin, sending it falling onto the floor into a heaping pile of blood and guts that included all of its bretheren. Steve smiled and wiped off his sword, feeling satisfied that he'd finally made it to level two.
He put away the sword into his sheathe as dozens of women chased up to him, following him like he was some sort of god instead of the black haired fighter that craved leveling up more than anything else... Even the women behind him who had for days tried their hardest to desperately keep him out of the forest were not going to stop him from leveling up! No, he needed to find out what this game was about!
Three weeks ago, Steve had found himself in a village with the beautiful women behind him, and they'd done everything to make him feel good, nurtured, and completely at home. However, he was still in the beginner's village and he wondered what was beyond the white picket fence and large towers guarded by hundreds of men with armor! He had to make it to the other side!
"Stop him! He might destroy our planet!" A girl with a bonnete and a blue saber lurched forward and sent out a series of practice strikes as Steve smiled. He turned tail and began to rush to a set of other gremlins rushing further into the woods.
There were hundreds of tall green and verdant trees that were overflowing with the winds from the west. In his mind, Steve knew that his best hope was to chase after the gremlins and ignore the girls persisant games as he made his way to a higher level!
For weeks, all he could do to level up was kill bugs....
The girls didn't know it, but as one was massaging him and another was tending to making his dinner he had been crushing small rocket beetles that had entered into his house. With everyone killed he'd gained about 7 experience, which after 30 rocket beetles, had gotten him near the threshold of level 2!
However, today, he'd snuck out and went into the woods, that the black haired, sword wielding Veronica had done everything to get him to forget about.... He rushed forward and went straight into the running away gremlin's as the girls behind him tried to catch up. However, he had at least 100 meters between him and the girls and only 30 meters between the gremlins...
He hopped off his foot, and plunged his sword directly into the back of one of the gremlins. Veronica shrieked as the sword tore through its chest and left it's health in the red.

Steve didn't want to relent and he sent out another strike into its chest as Veronica got closer. She jumped up into the air as Steve used a [double stab] to cut off the gremlin's arm and thereby release it from existence.

Steve delighted in the 70 experience, which was much better than the rocket beetles, and turned around before noticing that Veronica had disappeared. He smiled as he turned around and noticed a cloud of smoke was where Veronica had been.... He turned back around and kept rushing after the gremlins....
The other girls tried their hardest to follow, but weren't nearly as fast as Veronica had been.... Out of all the gremlin's Steve had to kill, it had to be the one that Veronica's home world was on.... Millions of people, as hard as it is to describe, had been connected to the gremlin that Steve had killed... Veronica had been one of those people.... She had spent two weeks subjugating herself to all of Steve's disparate and unique desires.... However, it had all ended with a streak of Steve's blade....
Steve didn't even remember Veronica anymore at this point....
He turned to find four girls crying behind him as he sheathed his sword.... He scratched his head and focused his attention on Rebecca.... She was a red headed girl with freckles spotted over her face and a beatuiful countenance that seemed to have been carved by angels....
"Rebecca, I was just hunting some gremlins.... You should be happy for me... what happened?"
"You... you don't realize what you did?" Rebecca somberly said as she fell on her knees and coiled up into a ball... "You... you don't remember the brunette who cooked for you and slaved over you for two weeks?!"
"I'm sorry what did you say?" Steve scratched his head, wondering what words had come out of her mouth. He focused on her mouth, but couldn't here the words as a Gremlin ambled by on his right. He threatened with a swing of his wrist as Rebecca jumped into his arms. She grasped tightly as more and more tears came pouring down her face onto her blue jeans and white t-shirt... Steve could only wrap his arms around her and avoid chasing after the gremlin... He'd have to go after that another day when the girls weren't expecting it....
"Steve.... I... I think we found a village that you can level up in.... We were preparing everything when you snuck out!"
"Oh, well... don't worry... I'll do it again!" Steve said with a reassuring smile.... "I don't want to trouble you girls all the time, and this is a game right? We're meant to level up in it...."
"Steve... we told you... there is some special rules about the game... If you kill certain creatures, you will literally break the foundations of the heavens...."
"Wait, what are you saying?" Steve stared at her mouth. For some reason, every time they had this conversation it literally was impossible to understand what Rebecca said until she changed topic.... Regardless, she grasped him by the hand afterwards and got pulled into her arms.... The other three girls with blue, brunette, and green hair rounded the edges.... They all hugged him until the gremlins were really far away... He sighed and wiped back their tears as the girls insisted he follow them as far away from the forest as possible...
