Necropolis of Heart
Chapter 5
Yuvika's PoV
*Ring* *Ring*
"Hello?"
"Hi Yuvi!" The voice sounded familiar that came into the receiver.
"May I ask who this is?"
"You can't even recognise my voice now?"
"Oh! Sia! Where are you calling from? What happened to your phone?"
"About time you realise. Anyways. I'm calling from the hospital. There's no network here. Before you freak out, I'm perfectly fine. It's just that mom," she didn't complete the statement.
"What happened to aunty?"
"Ma's in coma."
"Huh!" I cried in disbelief.
"She should be fine though. At least that's what the doctor said. She is going to in remain there for about 3 years according to the doctor." She said from the other side of the line.
"Let's meet-up and discuss everything in person." I suggest.
"Okay. Now it's 12 noon. Let's meet at McDonalds near our school. I'll be waiting there for you at 2:00 pm" she says.
"Hmm. It's decided then."

In doctor Raj's cabin
Author's PoV
"Afternoon Doc." A voice said.
"Oh! Welcome Ms Kang Mi Rae. How are your parents in ... China?" Raj teased her a bit.
"Oh please! It's Korea, not China. And they're doing splendidly. But what's the matter? I heard you asked for me as soon as you knew I was here."
"Well yeah. There's actually a situation. Remember the patient whom we operated on 7 years ago? The one in which you were the head doctor."
"How am I even supposed to remember something that happened 7 YEARS ago."
"That's because you do remember all your surgeries with you being the head?"
She sighs visibly.
"How will know which patient you are talking about unless you tell me the details?"
"The one who was in a critical state after a car accident and had to operated on immediately. The one whom we were able to save, but God knows why, but a nurse gave him a high dose of potassium while he was still in ICU."
Mi Rae gasped.
"Of course I remember. It was one of the most brutal deaths in a hospital to ever have occurred. But why do you mention it? Something unexpected and supernatural happened?"
"Not something supernatural but something definitely sad."
