After I said the last word some kind of magic circle drawn under the pup by a string of light that come from the Book that usually hang on its book holder on my belt. The circles drew in a matter of second and suddenly glowing brightly. The light continued to envelope the little guy before it slowly fade out.
The pup, Basil that open his eyes after baking in the light become slightly bigger in size. I don't know if it's just me or Basil grow more stronger and his eyes show more intelligent in it . I also get this feeling of have more solid connection between me and him. As if acknowleging his new name, Basil howling proudly in to the setting skies.

"Now that's better. So it's true that I also have [Dash] skill. And wow, the [Boxing] mastery already on Novice rank. Thats why when I fighting Boxing Rabi earlier I have a feeling of breakthrough some kind of bottleneck. I also feel the correction part of the System triggered when using spear and knife but not when I throwing things.
"In conclusion, skills begin to have System corrections when ranked up to Novice. Probably getting better at later rank. I should felt the same with [Street Fighting] and [Cooking], but I didn't notice anything similar. Maybe because the former is kind of instinctive and I have to much fun with the latter to notice it. But I do feel the correction with [Dismantling], I know where to begin the skinning or know where the joint and muscle location so I can cut more easily."
I think I can do more improvement to the System and use the Book power better if I can figured out more about hidden abilities of System. But when I get too engrossed in my thinking, a loud sound break my concentration.
*rumble*
"Oh Lord, Me and my overly focused habit. I even forget that too filled my belly and now it protesting so loud. Hey Basil,... Are you sleeping little guy? Sorry I got too engrossed in my thoughts and forget about our dinner. "
The little one open it's eyes listlessly and slowly look in my direction.
"Basil come here, I let me show you my excellent cooking skill"
Basil trotting on it little feet and sit down beside me over the fire pit with interested look on his cute face. I pull out pieces of meat from my inventory and grab some herbs from simple rack that I had crafted.
Looking at the piece of meat in my hand, Basil barking excitedly with tongue out and saliva dripping. I see this silly dog face and can help but laughing.
"Haha, easy there boy. I am going to create something delicious with these. You have to wait like a good boy there if you want a delicious food"
With dissapointed look, Basil lay down on his belly dejectedly. When I roast the meat over fire and the smell of roasted meat tickling into my nose. Basil also stand up excitedly with a look 'Is it done?' just to have denied by me. The circles continued with Basil stand up and barking excitedly and me turning him down until the meat is done.
I Found this special plant yesterday that has so much similarities with a kind of plant on Earth. Except for it much vivid crimson red, it certainly a type of hot pepper, Habanero at that. I known as a spicy lover back on Earth. Even my best friend John called me Lava Eater, not that I ate actual lava.
Of course I can't possibly give this devilish food to our new family member here. Thats why I cook more dog friendly food. Sorry I mean wolf friendly food, don't look me with that cute angry look Basil.
After enjoying such a blissful dinner without being lonely anymore, I go to sleep with Basil snuggling up to me and end the day.

-Third Person POV-
In certain cave in the forest in considerably distance from Adam cave. In this place there was a nest of Timberwulf pack reside. But now the only things remain is just devastating scene of massacre that come straight from a horror movies. Several wolf carcass missing body part, gut flowing and blood that painted the whole place.
In the deep of cave there was a big creature towering over 2 meter height munching on remains of clearly the largest wolf. The creature has black fur that painted with blood and a lot of scars. On its face there was three fresh straight claw mark with barely dried blood across it's right eye. The wound probably inflicted by the once proud leader of the Timberwulf pack that now laid under its paw.
It's left eye showed a terrying gleam that almost gave an illusion of radiating red glow. It huge maw have deadly fangs that continuously biting the dead Alpha wolf.
During its feast, a delicious smell slowly entering it's nose drawing even further hunger from withing itself. Its was as delicious smell it never smell before. Unlike the blood that always that permate the air around it, the new smell was more interesting. It know that it was smell of something that even more delicious food from what it always eat.
Slowly the creature walk out the cave following the smell trail. All kind of animal that usually show in the dark of the forest fled to every direction avoiding the mighty predator. The direction the terrifying creature going is non other than Adam cave.
The Holder of Book of Life was still inside his cave dreaming of delicious pizza back on Earth without knowing the terrible disaster walk in his direction from afar.

Basil originally has a title called [Brave] that's why he not afraid of MC when the first met. [Brave] title only give [Brave] trait, in contrary [The Brave One] give not only the [Brave] trait, it also improved the trait and make it more easily to learn another traits and skill related to braveness.
