"Hey, man. Where are you just now? " As Rick plopped down on the sofa, he hit Alex's shoulder. Alex glared coldly to Rick indicating that he did not like to be hit without reason.
"Relax, man." He lift up his hand like a prisoner surrender to a police. This Alex always makes him sweat coldly for his cold personality. Like he is an ice cube which do not want to be disturbed. He just want to be in his own ice house. If it exist.
" School, of course. Where do you think? ".
"But you are not in the class just now" Alex chuckled as he heard Rick.
" I am in different class. Year 3". With widened eyes, Rick grabbed Alex's shoulder.
"What? Why? We are in the same age and why you are in the year below of us three" Pushing his hand away, Alex ignored Rick's question as he focuses his eyes to the television. He didn't wish to answer the question. He just felt to enroll in Year 3. So, he enroll. No other reason. He think like that even though back in his mind, a certain someone lingered.
"What is this chaos, Rick? I can hear your voice even though I am in my room" Mark said as he closed his room's door and move toward them.
"This man. He is in year 3. Can you believe that? Now, he is our junior"
Upon hearing that, Mark laughed loudly. Literally. Maybe his neighbour can heard his laugh. Alex shakes his head. Sigh. Now, this insane man came. This is when Max is not here. If Max here, maybe this house will be broken down. Or anything that related to this house will no longer here as their laugh is too troublesome.
With excitement, Mark sit on the sofa adjoining to Alex as he said,
"Bro, why? Do you want to study that much? That you enter junior class?" ignore. Just ignore. That what Alex think. He just want to ignore this two guy beside him and act like they are not here. But seem likes his wish just disappear just like that as certain someone..
"What? Alex is junior? " See, now Max is here. Inside of his mind, he pictured himself beating thing around him. Running here and there. Trying to lose this 3. Yep, this 3.
"Hey, stop. Yes. I ask the teacher to put me in the class" To stop them asking question, he explained.
"But why? You should tell me. I will follow you" With pitiful face, Max grabbed Alex's sleeve as he sit down on the floor. He can see an abandoned kitten on Max's face right now. Everyone was like stunned silly as they watch Max behaved like that. Even though Mark is Max's brother, he never get this kind of treatment. This is what people say bias. He is the brother but the treatment is different.
"No reason. Just focus on your class." Alex said in final words as he left the three of his member on the living room. Closing the door, he lie down on the bed thinking the weird occurences before this.
'Who are you?' Like why she didn't know him. They had been friends for a long time but they kinda separated 4 years ago. He didn't know what happen but the news he heard is she went overseas. But now, here she is. Just like what he remembers. With innocent face, graceful appearance. Only the thing that is different is her aura. Before this, her aura is kind like calm and tranquil. But now her aura is like kind of powerful and determined.
He didn't worry about her difference in aura But the thing he wonder is. Why she didn't remember him? There is no way 4 years makes her to lose her memory of him, right? Also, the kind of amnesia in the drama are not real. Upon seeing her, he expect that she would be excited. Hugging him. Like in the old days. But no reaction. Like talking to a stranger. But he is not a stranger. They had been together for a long time. Best childhood friends.
Just now, he see her sitting alone in the classroom makes him think about their days. He always like that. Sitting alone. And she will come with a large smile, extending her hand and dragging him everywhere. Everyone was like ignoring him. Fearing him. Even at early age, he is a cold child. He can't be familiar with people easily. So he always emanated cold aura to strangers, to the person he didn't know but this girl, she is the only one who didn't fear him. The one who introduced her to the word 'warm'.
So, he just want to suprise the girl. Greeting her like a stranger. But he is the one who is suprised. There is no feeling in her eyes. Like he only see a pair of eyes without vision. Looking through a blank canvas. And he is also didn't get the reaction he expected. What happen to that girl? Why she didn't know him? Why he become strangers to her?. He wonder why. Closing his eyes, he slipped to dreamland, but still thinking his little friend.
