Waking up after reading some necromancy books last night, I opened the shop again.
Melvin:"Hmmm... maybe go into the city tomorrow; I'm running low on food... maybe I should just start a farm. That way I don't have to go into the city as often. Although I still have to go into the city tomorrow for seeds and gardening tools"
Going to into the city tomorrow, I made a sign to stating that the store will be closed tomorrow.
...
(+9 AM)
Ring!
Melvin:"Hello welcome to Revive Service, is there anything I can help you with?"
Looking at the person walking in, I see that it's an swordsman carrying an old lady on his back.
Swordsman:"... I don't know if this is ok, but can you revive my grandmother?"
Melvin:"Did she die of old age?"
Swordsman:"... Yes, but she's is the only family I have left. She raised me alone, working hard while I was young. So can please can revive her? Saying that, the swordsman started crying.
Melvin:"I don't know if I'm allowed to. I don't want to get into trouble. I built a good relationship with the church and kingdom; I don't want my hard work to go to waste"
Swordsman:"Please! I'll pay extra if you want"
Melvin:"... how much?"
Swordsman:"Here, this all I saved up" saying that, the swordsman placed a bag of coins on the counter.
Looking inside, most of the coins were silver and some of them were gold.
Melvin:'Jakepop'
Melvin:"*Cough* *Cough*, Ok, but you first need to answer some of my questions before I'll do it"
Swordsman:"What?"
Melvin:"Does anyone else know about your grandma's death?"
Swordsman:"I don't think so, we live alone and I came straight here this morning"
Melvin:"Did she die in the morning?"
Swordsman:'No, I found here dead last night after coming home from the beast dungeon. But no one knows because I spent the grieving before contemplating whether or not I should bring her here"
Melvin:"So are you sure no one else knows about it?"
Swordsman:"Yes. So can you please resurrect my grandma? I won't tell anyone"
Melvin:"*Sigh* Ok, I'll do it"
Swordsman:"Thank you! I'm forever indebted to you"
Melvin:"Don't worry about it. Just remember not to tell anybody, and if anyone ask, your grandma died from chocking on food. Ok?"
Swordsman:"You have my word, I won't tell anyone"
Melvin:"Ok, put your grandma on the counter and I'll revive her" I said while moving some of the stuff on the counter off.
Swordsman:"Thank you again"
Melvin:"Yeah, Yeah. Don't mention it and let me concentrate"
Swordsman:"Of course"
With the swordsman being quiet now, I focus my mana and move it towards the dead grandmas head.
As if sucking in my mana, the grandma's eyes and mouth open while her head slightly jerks.
Enter the dead grandma, I move my mana through her body. After my mana has completely engulfed every corner of the grandma's body, I focus on the brain; engraving magic runes deep within.
Finishing the first part of the mind control portion of the spell, I move on to the second part; engraving magic runes deep within the grandma's soul.
Since it hasn't been 24 hours, the grandma's soul hasn't left the body. With the soul still inside the body, it means I don't have to summon or call the soul back.
After engraving the magic runes into the soul, I finish the spell. At the same moment, the grandma opened her now completely black eyes.
Grandma:"Wh-what happened?"
Looking at the swordsman, I signal his to tell his grandma.
Understanding, the swordsman nodded back at me.
Swordsman:"You chocked on your breakfast and died grandma. I had to care you all the way here to resurrect you. Sorry that I couldn't afford a revival potions"
Grandma:"Oh, you don't have to say sorry for that. I'm just glad to be together with you darling. Plus I was the one who was careless. If anything, I should be the one apologizing."
Swordsman:"Don't worry grandma, there's nothing I would do for you"
Grandma:"Oh, give your grandma a huge"
Swordsman:"Ok"
Melvin:"This is touching and all, but can you do this somewhere else?"
Grandma:"Oh, sorry. I'll get off"
Swordsman:"Yeah, lets me bring you down"
Grandma:"Thank you darling"
Swordsman:"No probably grandma"
Swordsman:"See you later and thanks for everything"
Melvin:"Yeah, Yeah. Get on going now"
Grandma:"Thank you"
Melvin:"Just doing my job. Bye"
Grandma:"Bye, have a good day"
Swordsman:"Bye. Thank again"
Melvin:"Bye"
Ring!
*Swordman and Grandma Leaves*
Melvin:"Suckers" saying that, I look at the bag of coins.
...
After counting the coins, there were 56 silver coins and 12 gold coins; equaling 416 silver coins.
Melvin:"He wasn't lying when he told his grandma that he couldn't afford a revival potion. Although not many can with them being 50 gold coins each."
...
Moving along the day, nothing much happened beside seeing Aelfwine's group again a little bit afterwards and selling 23 skeleton and zombie amulets, 11 undead repellent potions, 1 undead luring potion, and a pair of poison coated daggers that were sold to a rogue heading towards the beast dungeon.
