The next day was full of preparations for Christmas and at the same time , Mu Jingyang came back with his wife Qiao Lan and his son Mu Yang . Mother Mu was happy as they tried to forget everything Mu Jingyang had done to this family just so they wouldn't ruin the celebration.
It was already past lunch time when Elder Mu came . He looked happier than usual .
He came in and they were two children by his side. They looked about 6 years old .
They were both wearing baby blue coats , boots and beanies . They looked outright cute .
Elder Mu was really happy . Even his eyes were smiling.
"Great grandpa you're back " Xinyan said happily
"Did you get us any gifts ?" Xiner asked excitedly.
"Yes I got you two gifts that we all can share .
A new brother and sister " Elder Mu said which stunned everyone.
But everyone was already used to Elder Mu's spontaneity and there was nothing wrong in taking in two more children .
Mo Yinan and Shen Yue looked at themselves and made a some eye contact and had already reached a decision.
"I'll go prepare their room " Shen Yue said as she stood up. She had already accepted these two children as her own .
"No mom I'll share a room with my new sister .
Now she will call me Jiejie . We'll do so many things together like have picnics , tea parties and play with toys . And I'll always dress her up "
Xiner had already had a list of things to do with her new little sister .
"Oh great grandpa what are their names "
"I think Yinan should name them he named all of you " Elder Mu said he really could not think of any names for them .
"Father yes you should name them now "Xiner urged . She wanted to find the cutest pet names for her siblings.
"How about Xinyi and Xishan ? "
"Yes it perfect . I'll call her little Yiyi " Xiner had already planned it all out .
"alright little Yiyi you can call me jiejie "
"jiejie " Xinyi said in a tiny voice .
"Yes you're are the cutest little sister come with Jiejie I'll show you your new room "
Xiner dragged Xinyi upstairs with her swiftly.
"Xiner wait for me I want to play with my little sister too " Xinyan went upstairs too .
"Alright Shanshan let's go upstairs too we don't want to get left behind too right "
Xishan looked at his brother then followed him upstairs. He started to wonder how having a brother would feel like and also having to big sisters . He would never have to worry about anything again .
All the kids went upstairs except for Mu Yang .
"Xiao Yang go upstairs the adults have to talk . "
Qiao Lan said .
Mu Yang was spoilt since he was young by his mother . Upon that , his mother kept feeding him ideas about taking over the Mu household which made him even more haughty and he hated his cousins and kept thinking they were out to take his fortune from him .
Anyways , he obeyed his mother and went straight to Xia's room .
Xia was playing basket with Xishan.
He was happily teaching Xishan how to throw the basketball so it enters the hoop then Mu Yang came in .
"Hey Yang wanna play ?"
"No " Mu Yang says coldly . He sat on the couch and watched them .
"Yes you did it , now just do it like that again then we can go outside and play later "
Xia was quite proud of himself for teaching Xishan how to play basketball . Whe Xishan had shot the ball through the hoop for the first time, he felt very proud .
"Don't worry keep practicing you did it once then you can do it again " the ball didn't go through the hoop the 2nd time Xishan felt disappointed but then Xia had encouraged him .
He smiled widely having a brother was really good . Xinyi would never play such a sport with him and would also laugh at him if he failed .
In the girls room
"Yiyi what's your favourite colour ?"
"red".
"Do you like desserts?"
"Yes a lot ".
"how old are you ?"
"6"
"Do you like toys ?"
"Yes "
"alright then I have lots of them . You can choose the one you want to play with first ".
Xiner opened her closet which was filled with toys and clothes .
"Xiner how did you get this much toys ?"
Even Xinyan was surprised.
Xinyi started running around the place looking at the many toys.
Then Mu Yinan entered.
"Girls where are you ,?"
"We're in here dad ?"
"Xinyan, everyone is going out today and you're in charge . Take care of all siblings and your cousin alright . "
"Don't worry father"
" Good " He was already dressed and left the room .
After a few minutes
"Jiejie I'm hungry " Xinyi said .
Xiner was thrilled when she heard Xinyi call her 'jiejie' .
"Little Yiyi call me Yan jie , I'm also your elder sister " Xinyan felt jealous that only Xiner was getting called Jiejie .
"okay Yan jie "
"Let's all go get a snack " Xiner said as she was feeling much better .
"Let's go get the boys they might be hungry too "
Xinyan said .
"Alright but lets hurry up little Yiyi is hungry " Xiner said.
They went to Xia's room .
"Boys come downstairs we're having a snack "
"Alright "the boys replied in unison.
