Me and Kaito were walking towards the entrance of the dungeon.
"Thanks for last night," I grab his hand looking away from his valor eyes, it was made perfect for him. Staring at his eyes often to me flutter.
"Well I just did what you told me to"
We stop in front of the Gate, their were a lot of of adventurers today, we decide to head first at the guild to check on quests.
"Good morning you two" The guild master Selene greeted us.
"Good morning, Kaitoo!! Stop staring at her" I quickly cover his eyes while my I look at her annoyed.
Well Selene is outfit has always a cynosure to the guild hall, wearing nothing but a lingerie, the eyes of the boys were always on to hers. Her dark skin and yellow short hair was exactly match to her beauty, compared to me who always looks like a Librarian.
"Ara Ara, you want Kaito for your self? How selfish Izaya" Selena drops an irritating cackle , while sitting on the table.
"W-whaaat? No waay!!!" I immediately blushes avoiding eye contacts to Kaito. "Don't look at me Kaito!!" I push him away, Selena seem to have fun harassing me mentally.
In the end went to the dungeon without a quest.
Let me explain the dungeon, the dungeon is maze from another world connected via gate. It is a maze, full of monsters, treasures and traps. The size or the number of floors depends on the dungeon. Dungeons were created as a source of income for the village, they were built by sorcerer, and an Alchemist. The Guild collects the loots and traded them to other kingdoms, the fruits and other crafting materials are being sold to vendors and blacksmith or other merchants. This is why the kingdom of Lancelot is so popular. Other adventurers travel here to explore the dungeon. But despite of its popularity the dungeon is still mysterious, no one knows how creature spawns, how chest appears and the final floor of the dungeon. For 50 years of its existence no one has ever conquered the dungeon, those who have tried, died.
The entrance is made giant triangular portal made of obsidian, which will lead you into three possible location.
Number one is Evergreen, a jungle maze filled with plant monsters and tree people.
The number two is Tower of Babel, these dungeon is compose of multiple floors and traps.
and number 3 is the void. It is the hardest dungeon ever. It is filled with mysterious creatures who can stop time, gathers energy from the past and manipulate reality.
Spawning into this dungeon is randomly and you can only enter and exit once a day. But the chances of spawning at Void is 1 out of hundred, so there is really nothing to worried about.
"Two tickets for Dungeon" I paid the counter to let us pass, we pay them for tax. This may seems shrewd. But the payments are for protection and reconstruction in case the dungeon might summon any monsters but so far there were no rumors about it.
1 Ticket cost 5 silvers, me and Kaito earns almost 500 silvers a day which is why the ticket is not a bad price.
We walk towards the portal, the entrance towards the dungeons shows a bloody red distorted abstract which serves as the door to another dimension.
We entered the portal and immediately arrive at Babel, "we should wait for 5 mins" I saw adventurer leaving the tower
"But why?" Kaito ask, while wondering.
"To wait for the mobs to spawn" I answered.
The two of us, sat on the corner and talk.
The portal is protected by a magical barrier, no monster has ever crossed the barrier for 50 years. This serve as a protection in case of a possible disaster in the future.
I staring at Kaito, will he love a girl like me?
A tall looking teenager, with attractive eyes and well trimmed red hair.
"Izaya sensei?"
I suddenly snap out of my thoughts and ask, "what is it?"
"Why aren't you married yet?" He blurted out a question out of the blue.
