Mario laid to his bed when they returned to home. He can't forget his brother's doctor. Mario smiled everytime he thinks about her. Noel who entered the room, looks at his brother, anxiously as he saw him smiling at the ceiling.
"Are you alright?" He asked.
At first, Mario didn't respond, but when Noel shouted his name, he came back to his senses.
"B-bro, w-what?" He muttered, innocently.
Noel looks at him suspiciously.
"Why are you smiling?" He asked.
"M-me? smiling? huh, no bro, you must be dreaming." said Mario, trying to sound innocent.
"By the way, Noel I'm sleepy let me sleep." he added, covering himself with a blanket. " And be ready for your heart transplant this week."
Noel sighed deeply, he was nervous for his surgery and felt sad to admit that he'll be be no longer staying in this world, no longer to see his brother's children. His life is already counted, he knew that.
In the morning, Mario wakes up with a bright smile on his face. He's in good mood, thinking about Dr. Kimmy.
Noel, who was lying on his bed, stared at his brother, curiously.
" Beautiful..." Mario muttered. " you'll be mine soon, my beloved Kimmy."
Noel can't believe his ears. His brother fell in love with a brilliant doctor? 'Am I dreaming?' He thought.
Mario twitches in surprise as he caught his brother's eyes.
" So , you finally liked a girl." said Noel. For a long time he had thought that his brother had gone crazy for avoiding every girl admired him. Noel often teased him that he's a gay.
" A doctor, I don't think she'll be yours easily, brother. I can see that Dr. Hanson is a stubborn girl; she's hard to get." he said.
" Mind your own business." said Mario, and he got up from his bed to take a bath. Noel just shook his head and made his way to the kitchen.
Kimmy joined Tessa to eat breakfast at the restaurant. They ordered blueberry pancakes ( their favorite), and a hot cappuccinos.
"By the way, Cedric approached me this early morning." said Tessa. Kimmy's eyebrows furrowed.
"Really? what did he wants?" she asked, coldly.
" Oh, the same, he told me to persuade you to date him."
" What did you say?" asked Kimmy, boringly.
"Hmmm... I told him I'll try." said Tessa, giggling. Kimmy roller her eyes. Later on, the waiter brought their orders to their table. Tessa stared at her blueberry pancake, lovingly.
" Start eating." Kimmy told her.
They finish off their pancakes happily.
After Mario finished his breakfast, he walk outside the house to collect blueberries from blueberry bush. Since he was a kid, it was his favorite, especially blueberry pancakes. His mom always cooking it for him.
While he's collecting blueberries, Noel popped out beside him.
"You should go back inside, Noel, tomorrow is your transplant." said Mario.
"I don't want. I want to stay by your side brother, just in case my operation tomorrow will go unsuccessful."
"Don't be ridiculous, Dr. Hanson is a professional Doctor." said Mario.
"Dr. Kimmy Hanson." said Noel, slowly. Mario looks at him.
"What about her?" He asked, trying to sound casual.
"Well, she's your crush am I right?"
Mario turned pink. He felt his heart pumping very hard in his chest.
"S-so?" He muttered, turning his attention to the blueberry bush.
"Are you really serious with her?" asked Noel, beaming at his old brother.
"Bro, I'll make sure she will be mine." answered Mario, firmly.
"Oh, so you're really in love?"
"Yeah that's right, she just stole my heart without her realizing it."
"But brother she's a doctor, a rich doctor and we're... we're just poor working on a restaurant." said Noel.
" Oh shut up, go get yourself a girlfriend if you're jealous." said Mario, irritatedly.
" Ha! I'm not jealous." said Noel, walking back inside the house. Mario smirks, and looks up at the clear sky.
"What a beautiful girl you are my beloved Kimmy." He said, dreamily.
Kimmy coughed hard while drinking her water. Tessa patted her on the back. They have arrived at the hospital.
"You okay?" asked Tessa, anxiously.
"Y-yeah" said Kimmy, wiping her mouth with tissue.
"Hmm... someone is thinking about you." said Tessa, smiling at her. Kimmy glared.
"That's not true." She said.
