Ronan took a glance at me, he maybe didn't believe Dylan since I never told Ronald I had a friend.
I nodded and Ronan moved his hand to shake with Dylan.
"I am Ronan… I am five years old."
"I am Dylan… nice to meet you young man"
Dylan grasps that small hand gently and they shake hands.
"I am Lana… "
"Nice to meet you too pretty lady"
Dylan bowed a little, showing courtesy to a young lady.
Lana slightly elbowed me. She whispered saying he was handsome and polite.
Ignoring her curious stare, I just ask Dylan.
"What are you doing here? Joining the tournament?"
Dylan thinks a bit before he answers. He looked rather pale, there's dark circle under his eyes and his mana was a bit clustered.
"We took a bodyguard job. It's unusual for us, but since we cannot refuse this offer for some reason...We accept it"
I nodded and gave some candy to the red fairies and blue fairies. And sneakily give one to the golden fairy.
The golden fairy took from my palm and sat at Dylan's shoulder while munching the candies bit by bit.
"Is it okay for you to walk around like this? What about your duty?"
"Our job has finished earlier. We only escort the merchant until safely arriving here. But my friends in my party want to join the open tournament so…"

Dylan coughed a bit and stopped talking.
"You looked unwell"
"Can't be helped when you escort some Black Merchant"

The golden fairy spoke to me. He was concerned about his master.
'Is it poison or is it dark curses'
The golden fairy shakes his head.
'It was both'
The red fairies take a closer look at Dylan who is still coughing.
'He needs to detox his body in three days. Normal people would die instantly but since he inherit the fairy blessing and bloodline of the Second Fairy queen, he can hold for three days or more'
'He is strong'
The blue fairy praised the prince while munching his candy which was half the size of his body.
The golden fairy looks proud but he just munches his candies in silence.
"Are you okay?"
Dylan shakes his head and waves his hand weakly.
I took his waved hand and it felt cold.
Dylan smiled and patted me with his other hand.
His pulse was rather chaotic
I took out a clear but shimmering blue potion from my magic bag. Mother said it was one of the highest quality elixirs for healing she ever made.
She gave me plenty of these for this short trip. It was the best elixir to heal any injury and it even can clear dark curses too.
It took so much materials, ingredients and the efforts of months to brew and sometimes it takes years which making these elixirs were not only expensive but also rare.
One bottle possibly can be traded for a small land.
"Take this, it could clear your dried throat"
Dylan took it from my hand with no hesitation at all. Come on, did he really trust me that much?
