Did I tell her I wanted fur. I took the fur from her hand and it actually got plenty. And it smells terrible.
I almost throw up when I take it to my hand and Madame Anne seems flustered by the look at my face. She swished her hand gently and the bad odor was gone.
"I am sorry my dear. I forgot to neutralize the smell before I handed to you"
"No don't worry about it"
I took around five of the white fur. Madame Anne says it's ok for me to look around and look if there is anything I would be interested in.
I put down the white fur and take a close look at each rack.
Lots of things that I didn't know, but I hope if there was something that could be eaten, I hope I can recognize it.
In the second row, I found some weird dried leaf. I took a good look at it and I hit my head on the rack while shouting.
"I found dried chili. And some rice, and this is barley."
I almost shouted with everything that I found edible. Lots of things come from my mind.
Lots of things I mean are recipes that I could cook.
I was laughing like a crazy woman and stopped when I saw Madame Anne's grinned face.
"See I told you that you would see something interesting"
"Pardon me Madame Anne, but why is everything stored here? Didn't this all food and could be eaten?"
"It does? All this was left by the guess as payment. When the guest has no money to pay, they offer whatever they have. And you know how generous Boru was. So we just accept everything they offer"
"He is sure amazing, both of you were amazing. I am grateful to meet such amazing person like you two"
"Fufufu.."
"By the way, this is chili. Where did it come from?"
"It was left by a witch a year ago. She says that it is only grown at the Demon Territory. That one and this one also comes from Demon territory."
All Madame Anne showed was spicy herbs. It means that the demon territory has plenty of spice and spicy things. I wish I could go there and check out their foods.
"How about this paddy and barley?"
"That one coming from Beastland I think."
It means the grain probably will highly be at Beastland. There were few more fruits but since they appear to dry it's hard to tell.
The rotten food was thrown away by Madame Anne. Since it has been a few months since the last time she entered the storage, she cleared a few things that she saw occupying the storage.
"Madame Anne, why was there no market place in this land? I heard from Lana that they have to be wandering around looking for the material they need."
"This land is not as peaceful as it appears. Every kingdom is on the verge of war with some issue. It take more than a money to get in the big city"
I see a sorrow look in her eyes. It's like she was holding something heavy in her heart.
The silence air was dismissed by a sudden loud voice.
Sir Boru called for us from the outside. His voice was loud enough that some of the rack seemed to be shaking a little.
