Chapter 1 - The First Goodbye!

Knock knock!

"Jesus! You scared me Robert" murmured Perry as she kept on arranging her essentials.

"Are you gonna miss me?" Asked Robert curiously..of course not sweetheart she replied just to hold his mood right. "Everything's done?" Asked Robert as he was ready to leave with his raincoat on.

The sound of the rain added to the situation..it was just like the last time they are meeting each other..that never ending hug was not ready to get over!

"Uhh uhh" Driver faked a cough to let Robert know it's time to go!

"I'll be back in less than a week perry" shouted Robert before leaving his place. Perry locked the door tightly before going to her room. She was so scared of being alone. But Robert's conference was the most important thing at the present.

"Trring trring" that old phone sound stunned Perry for a moment before she could realise that it was a phone call..they generally didn't get calls on the landline. "Why is your phone swithed off sweetie?" Asked Robert with concern. "Ah! It's  dead" said Perry after looking at it. "Okay, the flight is about to take off and I'll reach London in an hour or less!"  Robert said. "All right..take care" she replied.

She glowed off the lights and went deep into her sleep until the door bell rang at the peak of the midnight..she was shocked after knowing what's happening. Like 2 am and the someone's at door? Wow!

She dragged up herself and gathered some energy to go to the door and just then it rang again. "Whose there"? She shouted but no one replied! After repeating it 3-4 times she went back to sleep.

She woke up relaxed and a bit worried next morning of what actually happened last night. Was it a dream or in real ? Who could have been there in the midnight ? All these questions were rolling inside her brain as she kept on brushing her teeth. She went to the door and started looking for something. Like something that could help her link to what actually happened with her the last night but all on vain.
