Melody followed Assistant Tim and John into their office and they picked up all the files needed for the conference and headed towards the conference room. Brandon was walking in front with the three of them behind him. As they entered all the people just stared at Melody with disdain and Brandon who noticed that stopped in the middle of his tracks and gave all of them a glare to which they were intimidated and immediately looked down.
Melody went to set up all the necessary things for the conference and sat down after Brandon and everyone else sat down and they focused on the conference. Melody noted down important points and questions during the presentation and the conference went smoothly. As soon as the presenter finished presenting, Brandon asked a few questions and Assistants Tim and John also asked a few questions. Then, Brandon reached out and took Melody's book and read the questions and asked a few of her questions to the presenter.
The presenter started to stutter at the questions asked by Brandon from Melody's book. She glared hatefully at Melody when Brandon was not looking. This was also a test prepared by Brandon for Melody to see if she could think up and identify the problems in the proposals through direct conference and presentation. When the presenter was unable to answer, Brandon just asked her in his deep voice...
" You seemed very sure and confident of yourself and you can't answer the simplest few questions about this proposal. It makes me wonder if you did this proposal on your own. "
The presenter kept silent and gulped. The rest of them just kept silent and were badly wishing they were not in this conference room right now.
As he did not get a reply Brandon told the presenter to go back and check all the mistakes and what needs to be changed and if he sees another mistake in the proposal then the presenter is free to leave her job.
The conference ended and Brandon told Melody that he wants the report. The four of them walked backed to the office with a few pair of eyes glaring with envy and jealousy at Melody. As they took the private elevator, Brandon voiced out to Melody...
" Your questions were quite reasonable and good. You do not need to hesitate to ask them your questions next time as you are a part of our team. "
Melody just silently nodded.
