"Mommy?"
Brie was about to head to the playground when a boy ran towards her direction. He was occasionally looking back that he bumped into Brie.
"Ahhh!" Brie fell to the ground with her back first and the boy on top of her. Fortunately, they fell on the grassy area and both were not injured.
"I'm - I'm sorry," said the boy as he got up. He carelessly cleared Brie's coat from any dirt.
Brie thought he was holding on to her coat intentionally, that she had to push his hands away. "Don't touch me!"
The boy then tried to run again, but Gabriel got a hold of his wrist.
"Hey, boy. Why are you running away so fast?" Gabriel asked. "You hurt my niece."
He studied the boy and thought he did not look familiar. He had managed the community and knew everyone in their neighborhood. He was certain the boy did not belong, or at least was not a resident of their community.
