At the Lu Residence, everyone had a wonderful dinner. Lu Fang especially brought with him some take-out scallops from a restaurant on the way home. Andrea had been appreciating baked scallops the past few days.
After finishing their meal, Angela reminded her mommy about the unanswered question, "Mommy? Babies?"
After hearing Angela's reminder, the rest of the children echoed the same.
Aunt Rosa's family, who had joined them that dinner, quickly excused themselves, not wanting to get involved in the tight situation.
"Good luck, Lu Fang," said Aunt Rosa.
Karen was already given an advance warning by Juan and thus, they both made it a point not to join them for dinner. They ate in the kitchen.
When Aunt Rosa and her family entered the kitchen, Juan knew exactly the reason for their sudden arrival. Juan said to Karen, "It has already started."
"The kids are going to stress their parents," commented Karen.
