Everyone's G beeped as Lara said, "All of you have been injected with the same virus the Bits have been injected by. But the difference is... you are in control of it because of the antibiotic also injected with it. The adults haven't been injected and that was for their good because the virus wouldn't be compatible with them as you have seen from previous Bits before we've met, they have all lost control of it and go berserk with the power they have. All of you might have different attributes or even the same if possible., I don't know anything about that. I use the same power but in control. There are 4.2 attributes Armoured, Blade, Target and Root. And by 4.2 I mean Root is divided into 2 World Roots and Sole Roots. All have a different meaning you will all know soon about. You trigger it by being at peace with your strength on how you show you are at peace with others", the call beeped off.
After the call in the 4th Piece, Hassan said, "First of all, "4.2" seriously, that sounded like a version number. And secondly, what the fuck did she say... Hahaha! that's got to be a joke. Power... what does she think we will believe whatever she says?! I'm not going to believe it, we don't live in fantasy, this is real life we are talking about", the others kept staring at him and then Rose said, "Then can you explain how we are in this situation of being inside a torture asylum and with all these floors... I kind of believe what she said there. Don't you agree Lucas?", Lucas was looking at Rose while she spoke.
Lucas then looked at Hassan and Hassan right back at him and said, "Ya!" Hassan felt like he was the deluded one out of them all. Danny then put his right hand on his right shoulder as they started to walk down the path to the Bit and said, "Don't worry about that? I can understand you were trying to stay sane in this situation"
Rose who was ahead then looked back at Lucas and asked, "Let's try what she said?", Lucas nodded. They then started to run towards the Bit who was just standing there till it heard them running at it. Rose then started to form crystallised armour all over her body, Rose noticed her body felt a lot heavier so she slowed down and looked at her hand and saw white crystallised armour over her and stood there and said, "Hey! Lucas look at this! I guess I got the Armoured attribute?!"
Lucas stopped and noticed the armour over Rose and asked, "What the hell is that around you?"
Rose replied, "Dumass didn't you listen to what Lara said? The 4.2 attributes? And that you have to be in your comfort zone of mind?... sigh* Now you know though see if you can try"
Lucas put his hands over behind his head and said, "Nah! I didn't listen I just wanted to fight that thing it looked stronger than the previous ones we battered"
Rose said, "Ya I know! This one looks way too strong for us to handle without help because now that we look at it, it looks way bigger than over there", Lucas and Rose then looked over at the Bit, it started to form tentacles around its body to start protecting itself.
Meanwhile, at the 5th Piece George freaked out after the call. Jean tapped on the top of his head and said, "Calm down Dummy. You are the only one freaking out here and come on we all had our doubts about her since she joined us with Allan disappearing with her to join their age group in the Pieces. And also the part where the Hive was empty when there should have been a lot of those haveks to ambush us and that she being in the middle of it bleeding in the head. I thought James would have pulled the trigger on her but he didn't", She said as she stared at James.
Rebecca and James were close enough to listen in, So, Rebecca replied, "James wouldn't hesitate if she was trouble to us... but that doesn't make sense James!", Rebecca also stared at James after she called his name.
James noticed both of their stares after Rebecca spoke, before that he was looking at the Bit in front of them. James said, "I felt if I shot I would see another thing coming... it was like a sniper was aiming right at my heart. And I felt she had a reason for being there, I didn't ask her up there, I knew she would eventually tell us and I trust her I feel this would help us all and I am excited about what she has planned later. Jean and Goerge also have those attributes she told about also trying to use on that Bit... It looks huge...!"
They all then looked at it, It felt like the Bit was close to them but far away from them. George then looked at James and asked, "Are we going against that?... Can't we just avoid that?"
James replied, "I wish we could avoid it too but it is way too huge for us to get around it", At that time Jean was trying to use the ability. And then she found out how to by using her right hand pointing one finger[Index finger] at the Bit, the thumb was pointed upwards as a trigger as she folded it and a crystallised round fire off her finger[Index finger] at the Bit it didn't hit it because it far from her range.
They all looked shocked and were in awe after seeing what just happened, George said, "So, you are telling me that I could do something same like that? Then count me in!"
James smiled after hearing that and told Rebecca, "I am interested in what is to come ahead, Jamie would have enjoyed watching what is to unfold in here. But he wanted to stay outside and take cover", He said this as he started to walk towards the Bit.
George asked Jean, "How do you feel excited in any situation?"
Jean was confused by the question he asked but she understood what he wanted to convey in general, So, she replied, "It is like that sweet place you would call heaven and you should think about it as if it were next to you"
George said, "I didn't understand a word you said"
Jean said, "Whatever find it yourself"
George then tried his best to think of what Lara said and envision it in his head. He imagined himself in the middle of his friends hugging him and telling him, "You are the best, George!" Then blades started forming around his back like a porcupine. He then said, "Guys! Look at this!"
Rebecca smiled and said, "Now you can actually protect yourself and others if you try to!", George did understand she said neither did Jean understand but James understood though. James was thinking, "She probably meant he rushing at his opponent rolling like an armadillo that would protect him with the spikes being a repellant but is it strong enough? We will see!..."
Rebecca asked, "Can you uhh... shrink it back? or does it remain like that forever...?"
George was shocked to hear that question because he didn't think of that, but he got to know the answer immediately, The spike shrank and disappeared from his body and he didn't see a trace left behind. George smiled with happiness, laughed and said, "Hahaha! I totally knew I could do that", Jean laughed along hearing his sarcasm and James and Rebecca smiled hearing that. They then heard the Bit cry, "Wrrrrrrllll!!", James said, "That is a weird cry", Then started to run at the Bit holding Jean's left hand and so did Rebecca run holding George's right hand. Jean and George were also running because they held their hands tightly, that was when they looked behind and saw the ground crackdown and a tentacle emerging out of it.
Meanwhile, in the 6th Piece, Benjamin was confused thinking, "The theories of the innocent cinderella being the evil one were true...", John tapped on Benjamin's shoulder and said, "Told you so! And like you promised I call you Hooky!", Benjamin replied, "Oh! Come on...!"
Alexa was relieved to hear that they had a chance to go up against the Bits and tried to see if she had an ability. She saw the floor around her crystallised and trees in crystallised form started to grow on all four sides of her front, back, left and right. John and the others who witnessed it were confused about what the attribute was. Alexa's G beeped and the Overseer said, "Yes!... Yes! that is it we finally have a World Root with The World Tree, what you see around you is its 1st form it is a protection or a guard form. It can be called the base form you will know how to use it in the right way. There are two more forms, the 2nd form is called the Growth string which creates a zone in which one other than you can enter and finally the 3rd form is the World Tree which is an unstoppable fortress that is hard to penetrate unless the wielder is in serious pain. This means that you are the final hope that makes me glad that there is hope...", then the Overseer beeped off.
They didn't understand why the Overseer told them that. Benjamin was thinking, "This person trapped us in here and told us that this is to make us suffer and when Alexa has the attribute that he wants this same person stands by us? This is ridiculous", Benjamin then told the others, "Let's try our best together and get the hell out of here"
Then Benjamin tried to see what he had. A hand formed on his left side then Benjamin said, "God damn it! A hand... come on! even this ability had pity on me...!", John and the others heard him shouting in depression and John replied looking at his left hand, "Aww...! I miss Hooky..."
Benjamin looked at John after his reply and said, "Hahaha... very funny", in sarcasm. Benjamin's G this time beeped and the Overseer said, "Your's is special too, it is Sole Root but only within one part of your body and there is regeneration ability for your left hand and it can get as big as you want it to but depends if you can carry it...", and the G beeped off. Benjamin then said, "Is this guy gonna reply to us all too? It sounds pretty sweet though" Benjamin smiled after hearing the Overseer.
Ben and Harry were trying to see what they had in store. Ben had spikes growing from his knuckles and Harry had his thumb and pinky transform into a bow. Ben said, "Well! I don't need an explanation of how this works and neither does he. We know that I am the sword among us all and he is the sniper. But the thing is didn't you all see Hassan carry a big travel bag before coming here what was that?", They all paused for a moment and understood that the person was Hassan so they all knew what it was. Alexa replied, "Surely... No way right?... Well if it is what it is then he will regret bringing it there... I hope it isn't that, maybe some snacks in the way!"
John was checking his ability in the meanwhile and then he found it out. He could row roots from his hand but plant-sized roots. He was pretty depressed after that. Then the Overseerwhipered to him through his G without a beep. he said, "That is what will appear like right now. It will grow stronger and bigger in size, It is a type of Sole Root, So, don't be ashamed of it, John", John was surprised that the Overseer knew his name. Harry asked, "So... How... How do I pull out an arrow?", Ben forgot about the arrows and said, "Umm... I guess that is not a bow then. It has to be a double-edged sword"
Then Harry's G beeped and the Viceroy said, "Oh! Don't you worry, the Overseer has gone away", then immediately Ben asked, "Please can you tell us how to draw a bow? Please!!!?".The Viceroy replied, "Sure! Just imagine a sword, on your other hand to pierce your enemies, that's all!", then the G beeped off. Ben was relieved and exhaled with a "Hoof".
They started to like it when the Overseer explained what it was even if it was a teensy bit they felt he was right at least that was what Alexa and her group felt. They all then looked at the Bit since it didn't move an inch even after they were making a commotion there. The Bit they looked at was no more in its human form anymore it had its eyes but grew even more prominent than a human could grow up to, It was 10 feet and 6.4 inches tall and it had 2 of its tentacles stuck to the ground[So were the other Bits too]. The Tentacles were giant as in they had a width of 1.5 metres and how long you say... It is 100 metres long[Every Bit had the same sizes except the one at the 5th Piece]. The one in the 5th Piece is 500 metres long, and the corridor pathway itself is 1 km long seeing that the Bit is right in the middle of the corridor means it has a reach all around it. It had eyes but it was in the position where the ears normally are in the head and its mouth was large enough to cover away its neck from others' vision. The body was wide from all sides it looked like the skin was melting away. And you couldn't even see its legs as if it weren't even there. It had 6 tentacles including the ones under the floor.
Meanwhile back at the 4th Piece, Hassan was checking out what he had been given but he had a hard time finding it, it made him even feel like he had none. He wanted something like Lucas and Rose, that was the reason he was so desperate. After trying a lot he stopped trying and stood there, Lucas and Rose didn't rush off to battle the Bit because they wanted Hassan to join so they were waiting patiently till they so he stopped trying and stood there and then sat on the floor looking down. Rose felt bad but didn't want to help him because she wanted him to figure it out by himself. Lucas saw Hassan sitting down in depression and wanted to go and help him but wanted to see if Rose would approve of it because in his mind he felt Rose didn't like Hassan but it was the opposite way around Hassan was the first person she liked other than Lucas her brother. When he looked at Rose she was looking down clinching her fist, She was hoping that he would figure it out on his but felt it would be possible only if she helped him too but she wanted him to prove her wrong, Lucas. The latter had lived his whole life trying to understand what Rose wanted to convey and understand what she wanted to say. Lucas pushed her on the shoulder and sat down on the floor and gave a gesture to say, "Do the same!" and shouted to Hassan, "Hey! you are a coward come on! We can't just wait for you the whole time you know... and you will be the one to strike it among us all! So get your head in here you idiot!", Hassan who heard every word of it felt like he was huge and pushed at the same time and that was what he needed he felt it too. Danny was happy even though that was not what he was hoping for was thinking, "I see that these kids aren't all lost in thoughts..."
Hassan got up on his feet and imagined a sniper on his hands, his left index finger on the trigger and his right hand holding the front handle of the gun and his right eye focused on the target and he pulled the trigger. The thing is he imagined there to be a sniper but there was none formed in any way in front of him for the others to see. But he did pull the trigger on his ability. A spike formed from the wall and struck the Bit on its belly. Rose and Lucas smiled and then rushed over to strike the Bit. Hassan's G beeped and the Overseer said, "Your ability is... special, It is a Target but mixed up with World Root and that is how you use it to your maximum potential. This trail was supposed to show potential and you did it greatly, Hope you all are ready for the real challenge in the Dome", then G beeped off.
Lucas and Rose just stood there staring at the Bit that was torn apart into 2 halves. Rose then pushed Lucas's shoulder and said, "Why did you have to say it as if he had no chance? Come on! Now look what he has done to our fun... demolished... that to utterly into halves literally... this is your fault and you owe me!", Lucas returned a push to her shoulder and said, "Na... ha! I don't, you owe me... It is obvious you know!", Rose was confused and asked, "What is oblivious that you mean?", Lucas replied quickly, "Head over heels! Dummy", Rose blushed and said, "Ok... ok! I get it... you lived with me long enough... just don't say it out loud, ok? please", Lucas giggled and then smiled saying, "Your secret is always safe with me!"
Hassan rushed over to Lucas and Rose, Danny was slowly walking up to them and said, "You know what kids I think you are great with each other and that is the reason I have to do this...", He then slide his right hand into his right pocket and took out his pistol and shot Lucas right past his skull, Lucas then fell to the ground dead, Rose and Hassan were listening till that happened Rose screamed in pain saying, "Lucccaaaaaa!!!", She fell to her knee without giving notice of anyone around her. Hassan stood guard over Lucas's body and Rose and said, "What are you trying to do here I knew Benjamin was right about you... Get away from us and put that down that before I kill you", He was ready and aimed right at Danny's head. Danny was still walking up to them and pointed his gun at Hassan and said, "Are you sure kid you want to hurt me... Oh, wait! to kill me?", Hassan wasn't afraid at first because it will feel different when a human dies in front of him. Still, he realised what Dany had done to Lucas, So, he aimed at the path between them and him and shot to block him from reaching them. Danny evaded the spike as it gets bigger as it is shot and said, "You kids won't get away far from me", And he walked back towards the elevator they had come from.
Hassan then rushed back to check on Lucas, Rose was still crying without any consciousness of what was happening around her. Rose was on Lucas's left-hand side and Hassan went to his right-hand side. Lucas's hand then gripped Hassan's left hand, Hassan thought it was Rose's hand holding his, So, he rushed to her side and hugged her that was when Rose knocked him out with her left hand with an uppercut. Lucas's hand then tapped on Rose's right hand and she noticed that and looked at Lucas and saw that he was alright, his forehead was a bit red and that was all. Rose shouted in happiness, "Oh! You are alright I am glad I thought you broke your promise to me!", then she kept crying but in happiness and hugged Lucas.
Lucas said, "Hey! You choking me stop that... Of course, I won't leave you alone", and hugged her back and then said, "Ok!... now let go it hurts!", Hassan just stood there shocked watching that he was still alive and when Lucas and Hassan made eye contact Hassan asked, "How are you ok?"
Lucas said, "I believed you that is why I am here", and put his hand our his shoulder and walked ahead, Hassan was confused but he knew that it is weird to ask that, So, he said, "Whatever!", and moved on with them. Lucas then slowed down a bit so Hassan could catch up with him while Rose was way ahead of them, Lucas told Hassan, "I am happy she found someone else she can call up to if I am not there"
Hassan glared at Lucas and asked, "What are you saying?"
Lucas replied, "She likes you"
Hassan was shocked to hear that but he asked, "What does that mean though? I thought she likes it around others while we were at the top... I remember seeing her laughing around with Sarah and Diana", Lucas said, "What!!!", Rose heard him from way back screaming, So, she rushed back and kicked Lucas to the ground and asked, "Are you okay!?", Lucas had a bruise on his right cheek after the kick from Rose and said, "I was... twill you kwicked me!!", Hassan held Lucas by his shoulder moving ahead. The path ahead of them was a stairway down and it looked like a long way down but they could see the light at the end from up there. Meanwhile, Danny was trapped behind but he wasn't afraid of being discovered but knew it would be a problem, So, he put in a call to "13" and "14" and said, "Override Now!", and then he cut the call.
Meanwhile, after the call from Lara in the 1st Piece Sarah smiled to know she could have a chance but Dexter thought it was a virus like a zombie virus he was thinking with his hands on his head with his head bent down, "This... this is not good. I do not want to turn like those zombies that keep roaming finding people to eat up brains all day. Even if it is power like they say it can't all work without a setback", he said it out loud even if he was just thinking all that in his head.
Sarah slapped his face 3 times on both sides and said, "What is this about zombies now I thought you are the smart one out of your friends and that was what you had told me... right, Dexter? Oh! I am sorry for slapping you but you were annoying there and I don't like when a person I know seems weak"
Dexter replied, "Oh! that was not ok... but thanks, that! actually calmed me down!", Sarah then smiled.
After that, they both were trying to see what they had. It took them a lot of time to find it out and when they did that when both Noella and Josh got called by Danny, "Override Now!", they both understood the message meaning to execute everyone on the site including Sarah and Dexter.
Meanwhile, both Sarah and Dexter's G beeped and the Overseer said, "Dexter's ability was Sole Root called "Bird Cage" with a crystallised icy surface of the cage that crystallises anything inside the cage except Dexter within a diameter of 10 metres and your Sarah it is called the "Tree of Life" it sounds good and all, it regenerates the person's life but it takes away your memory of the past ad that is if you want to lose it all by letting the person live... and if... if you overuse it you it will take even more than that, So, be careful!", both Josh and Noella weren't close enough to hear what the Overseer told them, they both were standing next to the elevator while Sarah and Dexter were at least 60 metres away from them practising their ability. After that, their Gs beeped off.
Sarah was in pain hearing about her ability because it could have helped Xavier if she had known then. Dexter said, "That is good! You can heal and I can trap the thing when I try to get close to it and you heal me when I am injured... I promise I won't put myself in harm's way!", he gave off a fake smile to satisfy her showing her that it would be ok and then put his left hand on her right shoulder... she then immediately slapped him with her left hand as a reflex on his right cheek. Dexter said, "Ouch! You are trying to kill me, aren't you? Well! Whatever now"
Sarah said, "Sorry! I didn't mean to do that" after she noticed what she did.
And they went on ahead to kill the Bit in front Josh shot Dexter in the leg. As Dexter fell to his knees and both Josh and Noella started walking towards them, Josh said, "Oops! I am sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you... seriously! I wanted to give you a quick death without pain. Don't worry I can still help you, just stand still there!", Then Sarah grabbed hold of Dexter and carried him by her right shoulder started to move away quickly towards the Bit.
Sarah said, "Come On! Dexter let us get past this Bit and then also come on, we can do this. I am Sorry for slapping you back there!"
Dexter replied, "Heh! Sure... ah! That hurts a lot... yo... you don't have to help here we can do it later!"
Sarah said, "But... you are..... ok then let's get through this!"
Dexter looked straight at the Bit with the intent to kill. Then a cage was formed around it and froze it to death as they got past it easily and then tried to do the same thing to Josh and Noella by looking straight at one of them but Noella shot right past him and Sarah they both were frightened of the shot they didn't look back after that.
Sarah said, "Hey, it is ok! I've got a plan!", and then she whispered it into his ear while they were getting away. After Dexter heard the plan he nodded yes. When they reached the log stairway down, Dexter looked down at the entrance of the stairway with the intent to kill, a cage formed covering the path ahead but it had enough space for a bullet to pass through. As they were headed down and Noella and Josh reached the entrance where the cage blocked the path ahead. Noella point the gun aimed at Dexter and shouted, "Kid! You never learn do you that trick is not going to stop me!", and she shot.
The bullet hit Sarah on her right arm on her rest muscles, which hurt her really badly. Dexter helped her to move on by holding her across her waist.
Meanwhile in the 3rd Piece after the call from Lara. August and Katie started laughing after August started laughing Katie joined in. Katie didn't know why he was laughing even then she joined in. August thought Lara was joking about these abilities that they can perform because it felt ridiculous to him to hear what all types were there. Katie while laughing tried to learn how to use hers and she got it on her first try, Katie looked behind towards the elevator and created a crystallised wall blocking the elevator August stopped laughing and started to giggle in pain of not hiding behind because this was the first time Dean, August and Katie has ever since a Bit the ones before that they had since was Haveks and Haveks only. And now after he had seen the path behind blocked his all confidence just faded away. He went to the right corner next to the elevator and sat there depressed.
Andrew hit on top of August's head and said, "Get up! Kiddo, even Katie hasn't complained about anything... you are the only one doing it and that is a shame, you have to prove that you are the man!"
August held the top of his head because of the pain and said, "I get that and all but what the hell is that thing!", said pointing at the Bit. Believe it or not, Katie was the one who explained it saying, "Probably a human after being affected by the virus and several months of transformation", August stared at Katie thinking, "how does she know that and what?!", Then Diana joined in to hit on top his head and so did Katie since she thought it was a game.
August after getting hit thrice said, "Ouch! That hurts stop it...", Then they heard the Bit cry, "Wrrrlll!!!"
Diana had already tried her ability before in the Maintenance Room and so did Andrew and also they had been explained to by the Viceroy what they were. After Lara had explained they were ready to see what the others also had. Diana's ability is called "Web Trap", it is what it is called, she can create sticky web-like strings and trap anything, literally anything she desires and Andrew's is called "Armoured Gauntlet" exactly like boxing gloves that are tapped up.
Andrew rushed in and said, "Katie! try creating a stair-like structure and get through with the others by that!", Katie understood what he meant even though it was a vague way to say it. Katie tried to create it the way she wanted to but didn't work that but it worked out either way for them. She created a wall separating Andrew from the others who were on the right side of the wall that touched the whole way up while Andrew was on the left side of the wall running at the Bit but the thing was the creature had already been ruptured by the wall smashing it into pieces as carried the thing and crushed it on the top of the roof.
Andrew said, "What the fu*k just happened...! Ah... Man! I thought that was my moment!"
Katie stood in between both paths near the elevator where there was an opening to the wall, She saw Andrew staring at her annoyed and she actually thought Andrew was proud of Katie, So, She smiled at Andrew with a thumbs up that pissed Andrew even more. August went to where Katie was to have look at Andrew and saw that he looked pissed so he wanted to piss him even more by joining in and giving a smile with a thumbs up to him.
Andrew ran back at August and Katie, then when he heard Diana shout, "Come here already!", he slowed himself down to walking speed and imitated Diana and muttered, "Come here already"
After Andrew came they went on ahead downstairs, It was a large dome. In there they were there were some others also but they couldn't make out who they were since the place was too huge. The Dome is Hexagon shaped and the walls were parametrically designed. It looked like a tournament where the victor wins it all and the losers lose it all. The Dome had 6 entrances in which all of which had a number on top of it. The 1st was from where Sarah and Dexter had come from. The 2nd is from where Lara, Allan, Dean and Takashi should be coming. The 3rd was from where Andrew, Diana, August and Katie came from. The 4th was where Hassan, Rose and Lucas had come from. The 5th is where Rebecca, James, George and Jean have to come from. And finally, the 6th is also from where Alexa, John, Benjamin, Ben and Harry have to come from.
Meanwhile at the 5th Piece after the hole behind them was formed by the giant tentacle George looked at the tentacle as if the shock of seeing it had taken his soul out of his body. George fainted and Rebecca noticed that he had lost consciousness, So, she carried him piggyback and ran as fast as she could to get away from the pit that was being created by the Bit. James and Jean noticed that Rebecca was struggling to get away from the debris. Jean broke the hold of James's hand and went back to help her. Jean was thinking, "Come on! If I wanted to stun this thing where would I aim... The tentacle?... No! Of course not! The thing would wiggle even more... The eye! That would hurt the thing and focus its attack on me or even try to cover its eye from further attacks!", Then she turned around and took a precision-based strike to strike on its right eye... and well she missed it absolutely and hit it somewhere inside its mouth, they wouldn't be able to see where and it turned out to be a fortunate shot. Because it hit the Bit in its heart but that was also not a good thing since the tentacle giggled even more. Rebecca saw that it getting worse so she ran back and jumped onto the tentacle and got a grip on it using a knife that she had taken from the kitchen on the Maintenance Floor. And Rebecca said, "Well! that came in handy... hoof!"
After the Bit had died completely things calmed down and Rebecca got off the tentacle after it fell onto the floor. Rebecca asked, "Jean, How did you do that?", Jean didn't reply just smiled confusedly. Even she couldn't believe what she had done to it. George was still down and hadn't woken up. They all had to wait till George got up and then planned to go downstairs and so they did.
Meanwhile in the 2nd Piece, after Lara cut the call, Allan didn't know what to say to her after Lara said that She Believes Allan and trusted his decisions throughout out. Allan was still a kid and after seeing Lara was also a part of this Asylum he did feel she was the person they have to avoid but at the same time, he was thinking, "She might be the problem that we have to avoid but what I don't understand is why does she seem sad... she keeps staring at me, She was smiling for the first time I have been with... why do I see myself in her, she has the Overseer as her Father, So, she also could be trying to get in our heads and play mind games with us. I don't see any of these abilities she is saying supposedly working in our cases since we are just humans... right? I really would want it though!", Then Allan walked up to Lara with his head down and Lara was excepting him, So, she waited for Allan after she had cut the call. Allan then looked at her and asked, "You said you are on our side right? Then I have a question..."
Lara said, "So ask me anything, I know you have a lot of questions", while she said this she was also thinking, "He wants me to fight for them... I am happy to do it, after all, I did say I put my full trust in him... he will ask me "Will you die for me?!" and when he asks that I will tell him I am ready to even die for you"
Allan then ran up to her and hugged her. Lara didn't understand what was going on anymore since she hadn't seen this coming. Lara kept on thinking, "What... What is going on here? And what is this feeling...", She started to cry. Takashi was amazed that Lara cried and how Allan had reacted, he then said, "I am sorry! I haven't told you that I and Lara work for the person you call, "The Overseer" he is not exactly the person you think he is... And the world you all had come from is no more. The Apocalypse was started by the Westuroy government's main scientist Victor Markus, who is also the nemesis rival of Martin Romanov. After the gas was released into the world the people living in it started to die or turn into mindless cannibals that we call "the Restless"...", as he was about to continue Dean pushed him in the back and said, "We already know that Alexa and the others told us what happened to the world... I don't like hearing it over and over again"
Takashi knew it was hard to hear that the world that they know is no more since it might also include their family members. Lara pushed Allan away and said, "You might change your mind after what I show you now!", she said that while tears were falling from her eyes. A crystallised spike formed from her right index finger, it formed from her nail exactly and when the spike fell off her finger she kicked it up and it went spinning up in the air. As the spike reached her height she then super kicked the spinning spike, which was a double-edged spike meaning it was sharp on both sides. Normal the spike should pierce through the skin since both sides had an applied force but Lara was alright because of the crystallised armour which covered her boot, the spike was shot like a sniper bullet from the rifle that was how much pressure Lara applied on it. It then pierced through the skin of the Bit a went past it, hitting the wall leading downstairs.
They all looked stunned after what Lara had done except Takashi. Dean said, "I Loved That! That was amazing Lara! That felt as if you were Augustine", Takashi was confused about how could Dean say that. Takashi was thinking, "What?! Lara is nothing like these kids. She hasn't even got a chance to enjoy her childhood ever since that day her life turned into a mission that The Overseer can't fail"
Dean continued and said, "She is as agile as Augustine and I am not kidding, she is good!"
Lara smiled and asked, "Can he do everything that I can? Because I was trained so that I can be the hope of the future"
Dean replied, "I feel you are better at that than he is"
Allan didn't listen to the conversation they had because he trying to find out how can he use his ability. Dean noticed what Allan was doing and said, "Try raising your hand on the wall and climbing like this!", He went toward the wall and put his hand facing the wall trying to climb it. Allan still didn't notice him, Dean was annoyed that Allan didn't notice him, So, he focused his full power on punching the wall, his right and left hands were crystallised with armour covering and struck it with a left-right combination, and the wall had a crack formed. Takashi smiled knowing this would be light work if they coordinate and plan a way to take the Bit down.
Allan had gotten to know what his ability was as he was late to join in to beat the Bit. Both Dean and Lara pulverized the Bit by coordinating. After the spike of Lara's pierced through the Bit, it was in pain and was crying, "Wwrrrlll!" And then Dean rushed in to see how much damage could he inflict on the Bit. One of the tentacles came attacking Dean but it seem slow to Dean's eye that he could evade it easily and strike its tentacle. The punch bruised the tentacle, Dean didn't like that that was all the damage he could do to that, So, he went even closer to it and jumped higher than a normal human's jump as he jumped 7 ft and struck the Bit with a punch to its right cheek as went flying to the left side and then suddenly a wall appeared in the middle of the corridor next to the Bit. The Wall then moved towards the Bit and squashed it like a bug and the difference between the wall to the other abilities was it was not crystallised but it was as if the ground grew bigger and was sent to the Bit. They all thought it was Allan as they looked back and saw him seating on the ground facing the other side and still trying out how to use his ability, So, they came to the conclusion that the Overseer helped them out. Then Lara went back and tapped on Allan's shoulder and said, "It is over let's go on ahead!", She said that holding on to his left hand dragging him o the floor till he felt the pain and said, "Hey! It pains!"
Lara replied, "Then come on already!", Allan said, "Alright, Alright! I will come", he said disappointed at not learning how to use his ability. Then they got to the Dome and saw that they were the last ones who made it there. As they made it there their Gs beeped and the Overseer said, "Welcome to the Dome and the final challenge!", They all then notice the ground in the middle of the Dome opened up and that something was coming...
