SKILLS & TITLES

Skills: Are abilities that all races have. There are three kinds (Fundamentals, Acquired, race attributed Skills) A person can have multiple skills and gain multiple skills through out their life. Skills can grow through practice, experience, or when special requirements are met. A skills proficiency is categorized in tiers. Skills take years to learn and leveling a skill to a higher tier as well, as special requirements are difficult to meet.

1st tier: Novice (has learned the skill)

2nd tier: Apprentice (proficiency of a student)

3rd tier: Practitioner (skill can be used for a living)

4th tier: Adept (skill proficiency is higher)

5th tier: Expert (Highest known skill proficiency)

Fundamentals: Skills that is present within everyone. Varies among race and may vary depending on talents. Usually not higher than the second tier.

(Strength, vitality, wisdom, intelligence, agility, and dexterity)

Race Attributes: are skills specific to a certain race. (Cold resistance, heat resistance, sturdy body, and etc.)

Talent: Skills that are already learned without having to work for it. May be inherited or a child usually is born with it. May also be considered when a person has a higher tier than normal. Everyone is usually born with one talent. It may be random or due to inheritance. Talents are usually within the third tier.

Titles: are similar to classes and jobs. Three kinds of titles (Profession, Traits, Special) When specific requirement of skills and tier level is met, one can attain a profession title. (Blacksmith, warrior, knight, priest, etc.) Trait and special titles are received through achievements and affiliations. Profession Titles make learning skills and leveling skills related the title easier. Trait titles give you bonuses or deductions depending on the description. Special titles are similar. The difference between theme is trait titles are related to your personality while special titles are received through very specific requirements. Titles may evolve into a better form allowing more merits.
