"He's the only Architect in the known history of Egnilia to have created a mortal flame that resembles the Mythical Flames Of Old. Specifically, The Flames of Purity." Anise smiled, for many that title was likened to the warmth of home.
"The Mythical Flames Of Old?" Daniel was fascinated by the revelation.
"Yes, they are ancient Flames that were said to be present during the dawn of creation. Each Flame is catered to a specific concept. You'll learn more about these in the future." Anise spoke hurriedly as she attempted to bring the conversation topic back to the tour.
"Alright, save all your questions for after the tour, you aren't letting me explain this place to you." Anise pouted as she firmly stated her opinion. Daniel simply chuckled in response before nodding his head to express his cooperation.
The Academy was a beautiful place, besides the huge field of forest trees which didn't match the rest of the central terrain, lush grass and flowers covered the ground around the academy. Several pathways were lit by gentle flamed torches. There were a few small ponds here and there, with several benches scattered across the land. If it wasn't so deserted the place would surely be a picturesque landscape.
Anise smiled before going over the small details she had forgotten to mention.
"The reason these buildings look crude and don't match their names is because they are veiled in a powerful illusion that borders on reality. These buildings are truly large once we enter one of them. The layouts are the same. They are comprised of a large hall with many corridors leading to classrooms on the left and right with a total of seven floors. within the Hall Of Torch Light."
Daniel was surprised but kept mum as he listened.
"You won't meet your seniors inside because each floor is separated into different spatial layers. The same goes for The Hall of Hearthfire, except, that one has four hundred and thirty-five floors. The way each student is categorized is through a ceremonial tattoo that you will receive once we go to the small hut far in front of us called the Registration Office." Anise pointed towards a small hut that was off in the distance.
Daniel wanted to ask why the registration office was a run-down stall but refrained after remembering Anise's request.
Adora was still there he simply stayed quiet as he attentively absorbed all the little details Anise was explaining.
Anise gazed at the two boys and inwardly approved. 'Finally, I'm able to show off my knowledge without interruptions.'
As they passed the Hall Of Torchlight, Daniel's sight ignored the other squarish building for the Tall Tower that pierced the heavens. It was grey with decorative engravings that shined brightly in a silver glow. The light was refracted at the edges of the tower in such a way that it dispersed the light into a rainbow, almost as if were crowned by the visible spectrum itself.
"The next point of interest is naturally the tower, its formal name is The Tower Of Sentinels. It is an ancient but sentient artifact that was been rumored to have been created by a powerful architect during the primordial times. It was discovered by The Myriad Specter during an Ancient Ruins Expedition and had also gained its silent approval. Thus, it has become one of our key treasures that allows the Sentinel Academy to dominate the world in terms of Elites per Class. It's one of the main sources of training for the students here at the academy." Anise used one of her hands to flip her hair as she continued to walk.
Daniel was awestruck by the tall tower. Although he had seen skyscrapers back on earth, none made him feel the way he felt as he laid his eyes upon the majestic tower.
"The Tower Of Sentinels also holds another secret that you will learn about during your introductory class." Just as Daniel opened his mouth to ask the question that caused his teeth to itch, Anise raised a hand in a stopping motion.
"-And before you ask, I can't tell you because I'm not allowed to. The introductory class will let you know all about the hidden details and secrets the Academy has to offer as well as the conditions required to qualify for the benefits received from said Secrets. I know it's a mouth full, but trust me. The wait is worth it." Anise smiled as she explained to the overly curious teenager.
As she interacted with both of them, she grew fond of their differences. 'I'll suggest for them to be Dualities'
"There's also one last major point of interest before I let you guys go to the registration office." Anise's comment brought their attention back to her.
After she had their attention she continued speaking. "You guys have probably noticed the different biomes that surround the academy correct?" Both boys nodded.
"They're officially called The Biotonic Training Rings, they were created by Mr. Specters Father before the construction of the academy began. They're used for survival training as well as hunting. The hunting portion is both in the Rings themselves and in the dungeons. Some places are infested with Spawn Energy and thus the monsters you see in the dungeons are found anywhere and everywhere. The terrain plays a significant role in the types of Monsters spawned, and Mr. Hearthfire wanted his students to be capable of surviving in any terrain with any type of monsters."
'I can't wait to begin my life here.' Daniel thought to himself as he mentally went over everything Anise spoke of.
