"It's Mr....."

.....

"It's Mr. Raiden."

Why is the male lead knocking on my door? Akira asked his system.

" I believe he is here to assign you to the orphan project."

The sound of knocking came from the door again. Akira stood up to answer the door, and he walked through the door of the study which led to a long hallway with 2 doors on each side. At the end of the hallway past the two doors was a staircase which led to a small landing, which opened up to the living room with hardwood flooring, where two sofas were facing each other, a small side chair, and to the right was a door which led to the kitchen. A big window that reached from the floor to the ceiling was in front of a dining table with four chairs facing one another and two facing from the two edges of the table, and directly in front of all this is the door. Overall, the original had good taste.

Akira was brought out of his thoughts when the sound of knocking came from the door again.

"Host, should you answer that?"

"Yes, of course, Ryden replied."

He quickly walked up to the door and swung it open, coming face to face with the male lead of this world for the very first time.

Standing in front of him was a man with dark-brown hair, dark blue eyes, and a strong jawline, high cheekbones, and a height of 190 cm, with smooth muscles of a swimmer, wearing a black suit with a black shirt which had grey lines going through it, and a black coat over it with a gray scarf. In short, he had the appearance and aura of the male lead.

Ryden had yet to take a full look at his appearance but just looking at his form he knew the male lead's body had a lot of smooth but hard muscles and an inked tattoo which were black flowers surrounding an old fashioned watch and was taller than the male lead by about 3 inches.

"Good evening Ryden."

Looking at the male lead, Ryden put on the original's cold and indifferent face and replied, "Good evening Mr. Raiden."

He stood there staring at the male lead, waiting for him to say something. Neither said anything which led to the growing silence that eventually became awkward. Daisuke could only watch on as his host and the male lead continue to have what seems to be a staring contest. After a moment, he felt the need to interfere before things got even more awkward. Daisuke chose to remind his host of his manners.

"Host should you not invite him in? It's rude to let your guest stand at the door."

"Why are you asking me, I'm holding the door open for him. He is the one not entering and being rude and standing there like a welcome mat."

Welcome mat.....?

"But host you do have the door wide open but you're standing in front of it."

"What!? Oh yeah... "

Ryden stepped to the side and invited the male lead inside. Mr. Raiden tilted his head and walked in. Ryden closed the door behind him and walked after him to the living room.

The two male leads sat in one of the sofas, and he placed one file on the table. Mr. Raiden began to talk as soon as he sat down.

"Ryden, our company- as you know does a charity event just before Christmas. If you recall last year, we held a charity auction for children who have cancer. This year we are planning to design a safe park for orphans. We also plan to choose someone to be in charge of this project,"

The male lead paused for a moment's breath, "This year you have been chosen. You will be leading the project, overseeing it, and also be making the last calls." Ryden nodded to show that he understood what was happening.

"Any questions?" Asked the male lead

"One," Ryden said, and proceeded to ask, "When will we begin to work on the project?"

"In one week. regardless, if that is all then I will be taking my leave."

"Yes, thank you, Mr. Raiden, please have a good weekend and see you next Monday," said Ryden, while walking the male lead to the front door.

"Thank you, and to the same to you as well." Mr. Raiden said before exiting the door. Ryden closed the door and walked back into the living room and sat on a chair.

"Daisuke?"

"Yes, host."

"I thought it said in the plot that Raiden and Ryden were friends in high school? "

"Yes host they were, but only before the death of Ryden's mom. I know what happened but I still find it peculiar that Raiden is treating him as if they were never friends, to begin with. It makes you wonder just how Ryden's mom died."

Hm...

" I don't know the host, it wasn't stated in the plot. There could be a small glitch in the plot."

"It may be a plot hole but it may be not."

"What do you mean host?"
