Hermione stood next to neville who she was definitely friends with. There was talking inside two giant dark oak(?) Door as the group of first years wait for professor McGonagall to return and collect them.
"So it was true what they were saying on the train, harry potter has come to hogwarts" A voice said and everyone around Hermione began whispering.
Hermione looked at Malfoy and watched him introduce his goons then himself. "Keep in mind that some wizarding families are better than others, so you don't want to be friends with the wrong sort, I can help you there" Malfoy said
"I think I can tell the wrong sort for myself thanks" harry said and professor McGonagall walked out the giant oak door dividing us from our soon-to-be classmates. She tapped Malfoy on the shoulder with parchment and then explained some this. Hermione looked at professor McGonagall feet and a toad, the brunette nudged neville and he look down too.
"TREVER!!!!" The boy yelled and ran to his toad. He then looked at McGonagall and whispered "sorry"
"Now fellow me inside" The quite older lady told the first years. The doors opened as the group walked through to the hall, Hermione looked at the ceiling and turned to neville saying "it's bewitched to look like the night sky, I read about it in Hogwarts a history"
"Cool" neville whispering holding trever.
The group gathered around the front and professor McGonagall began to call out names(now I shall type the names of people who are either relivent to my story plot or those I remember).
"Evens, Phoenix"
A red haired girl proudly walked up the step thing to the hat and it was placed on her head....."GRYFFINDOR"
"Harley, Lucifer"
A boy with chocolate brown hair walked up to the hat it was placed on his head....."HUFFLEPUFF"
"lestrange, Annebella"
a black haired girl walked up to the hat as students all around whispered, the hat was placed on her head....."RAVENCLAW"
"Longbottom, neville"
"You got this neville" Hermione whispered to neville as he walked up the steps to the sorting hat. It sort him into Gryffindor, now skip a few, I think.
"Malfoy, draco"
It didn't even touch his bloody head mate, like what hell. He is obviously slytherin...
"Norimokuzuku, Hermione"
"Ok, you got this Hermione, you got this" Hermione whispered as she stepped up the small sairs. Whispers were heard and ron whispered to harry 'mental that one' and harry replied 'I can see that'.
Hermione sat on the chair with the old witches hat placed on her head. She was jumping with excitement, until the hat spoke.
"It has been a while since a norimokuzuku walked through these halls, I wonder where to put you. You have an abundance of Bravery and a brilliant mind" The sorting hat said "Gryffindor or Ravenclaw, hmm....yes I know.....GRYFFINDOR!!!!!!"
Hermione smiled taking the hat off and runing to the Gryffindor table, she gound a spot next to neville. She looked up the front and watch the other be sorted.
"Petegrew, Lisa"
A golden haired girl walked up and sat on the stool to be sorted....."SLYTHERIN"
"Potter, Harry"
and so on let's continue....Hermione was laughing as student told stories of their past years in this school. Hermione and Neville talked about their home lives.
"Hey Hermione, can you tell me about you parents since I told you about my grandmother?" Neville asked
"Oh my mums a witch but I don't know anything about my dad though" Hermione told her friend
"Hello little precious!" A loud female voice yelled as scarlett hugged her brunette daughter. Hermione jumped and looked and at her mother and asked "mum?! Why are you here?"
"I forgot to mention I'm an assistant teacher in defense against the dark arts." Scarlett said letting Hermione go. Hermione looked at her like she was saying 'O'.
"Nice to see you-" a orange haired boy started his assumed twin finished "-again professor scarly"
"Oh, hello boys, how was you holidays?" Scarlett asked the weasley twins
"Same as always professor" they at the same time.
"Well I better get up to the teachers table, see you later dear" scarlett told Hermione and waved to the boys and walked to the teacher table.
"So your the professor's daughter, she talks a lot about you" one of the twins asked Hermione and neville just watched quietly
"She does?" Hermione wondered
"Yeah, she said you had to be one the brightest child she's ever seen" the other said.
"I see" hermione said and looked at the teacher's table while her mother tried and failed trying to start a conversation with severus snape.
♡Later in the Gryffindor Girls dorm room Hermione was staying in♡
"So, Hermione you lived with muggles for most of your life without knowing your mother was a witch?" a girl and lavender brown asked
"Yes, exactly" Hermione told the girl who struck a conversation with her.
"That's sounds cool, so you only just found out you of wizarding heritage" phoenix said as she was unpacking her things "your new to the wizarding world, but you act as though you have been here forever"
"I don't get it either" Hermione told them and laid on her crimson coloured bed in some red pj's "well, let's get some sleep if we don't want the wake up late and then be late on the first day"
"hermione's right, let's sleep" phoenix agreed with hermione.
The three girls soon fell into the land of slumbering dreams.
♡After a cery long Two or four week Time skip♡
In the great hall the loud voices of students who were either eating or studying.
"so hermione, do you have a crush on someone?" lavender questioned with the curiosity killing her.
"no" Hermione replied to the question while not even sparing a glance at the curious girl.
"ugh, no fun" lavender then turned to phoenix and was about to ask the same question when phoenix said while "I have no pitiful crushes miss lavender brown"
"who am I meant to ship then!" lavender whined
"ship potter and his soon to be many crushes" phoenix said
"what?" lavender looked confused at the redhead
"sorry...spoilers" phoenix said blankly
"you're strange" lavender said
"I've seen.....stranger things" phoenix joked
"ok then" lavender was now completely weirded out and confused by her muggle-born friend.
"sorry" phoenix said tgen suggested"why don't we go to tge library?"
"sure, I to return some books anyway" hermione said closing the book she had and picking up the ten she had on the table.
If lavender was a emoji she would be the sweat dropping one 😓. The girl stood up from the table and helping hermione with the books they began to exit the hall. some then purposely bumped into phoenix making her drop the books.
"watch where your going mudblood" a slytherin said and walked off with their friends.
phoenix roled ger eyes and a slytherin helped her pick up the books. "thank you lisa" phoenix said
"no problem phoenix, you girls are going to the library aren't you mind if tag along?" lisa Petegrew asked the Gryffindor girls.
"I don't mind" Hermione said
"me neither" lavender said
"well let's go" phoenix said now holding all the books again
