3 months later...
"In conclusion... The Eros & Psyche Matchmaker Agency was now on it's critical condition at this month, even though we had achieved our quota for the last 3 months matched couples in our country!
Actually we're still lucky coz Our leader Ms. Malaya had matched a big influential person Mr. Hero Villanueva 3 months ago!" the reporter announced in front with her PowerPoint presentation.
Hearing the last announcement? They all turn to look at the woman sitting at the middle of the conference's table, give their compliments and an overwhelming claps!
She was Alyana Malaya the new promoted Leader of the Gold Team at Eros & Psyche Agency.
"Thank you" she responded to all of them.
She cannot yet imagine that she was promoted as the leader of the team already. It was just like a dream to be promoted from just matching her bff Athena to her dreamed man Hero...
It's a big opportunity that she was the leader now. Well there are 3 Teams inside the agency which are The Silver team, the Bronze team and their team the Gold team. She was aware that it would be hard to take the huge responsibility but it'll be worth it after all, knowing that she was now stabled in her job, as her livelihood.
Being an independent woman? She definitely need a stable job to survive. So all in all, being promoted is a big blessing from above!
"meeting adjourned!" after an hour of meeting this morning, Alyana the leader of the Gold team ended already the said meeting.
By the way The conference's room inside of the building's agency isn't that so big to make all the 3 teams gather inside. So there's a proper schedule to each team to use it and it was their day to use it. So what happened was just between her team and no other team.
"Ahh Ms. Malaya about the line up of the upcoming matches?" her secretary finally asked.
Her secretary Jin had been waiting for the meeting to finished so that she can talk to her already about the line ups.
She's lucky, Alyana didn't hurried to walk out of the conference room, as she made her members walk out first coz on her perceptions? leaders must be the last person to walk out to ensure That there will be no one left inside after.
"oh" she replied to Secretary Jin and turned around to see her at the corner.
"what's problem with the upcoming matches' line up?" she asked calmly.
She wasn't rude or strict at all from talking coz even though she was promoted already? She wouldn't still change. She still treat them as how she treated them from the first time she entered the agency.
She wasn't like her co-leaders Samantha from Silver team and Sheila from Bronze team who suddenly got changed when they were finally promoted. They are always demanding for perfections etc. that made them look very strict at all times. To the point that their designated secretaries were treated not properly by them.
Alyana wasn't like them at all.
"hmm we're in the critical condition of the agency... There shouldn't be countless matches this month..."
Alyana didn't let her talk anymore, she just guessed logically and she knows she mustn't be mad over it.
She wasn't mad? Secretary Jin thought looking at her boss.
By the way Secretary Jin wasn't an all time secretary of Alyana as her job wasn't like the CEO's secretary. And Alyana's position weren't that so high so Secretary Jin wasn't hers to work for her as her boss. In this Agency/Company Alyana being promoted were just an additional work and of course aditional salary at the same time at her work as a matchmaker of the agency.
So she doesn't have any rights to use Secretary Jin over. She was just her guidance being a leader. That's why she was calm even though she heard a very bad news already.
But even though that's not the case? Still, Alyana wouldn't take advantage of anyone. She will remain humble and talkative hehe in a nice way!
"well that's all fine Jin. By the way you can take your lunch already I'm just going to review some unmatched couples last week of last month, maybe they can be our matches this month." Alyana spoke while smiling at Jin.
Ms. Alyana is a real Angel! Jin thought.
Then she smiled and "don't worry Ms. Malaya, we'll all work hard for this month like what we did the last! So I'll go ahead now, just contact me if you need my help" she said happily.
Alyana Just smiled and nodded at her.
At the afternoon of that day...
Alyana at her small office-leader's office, she didn't bother to eat anything. She's just contented with her fresh water inside her we bare bears tumbler while still searching for hopeful unmatched couples to be matched this month.
She decided to not even walk out of her office unless she found out what she was looking for already.
Well she was used to it already by the way since last 3 months when she was promoted. She was always busy inside the agency already unlike before when she wasn't yet promoted. Before? She can still eat at her favorite small restaurant which sells lasagna for cheaper price but now? She can't even eat anything anymore and was contented with her water already. That's one of the big impact of being promoted as far.
So that's why they don't actually like to be a leader, there are so many sacrifices. She thought While searching.
When suddenly the door got open and in her surprise it was...
"Athena?" she stopped her busy hands searching all over those files in every corner of her small office.
"yay! What's happening here?" Athena at last asked when she found Alyana's office in a messy condition! Files here, files there, files everywhere! haha!
Alyana didn't talk immediately as she stood up first and prepared her mouth to talk very casually and exaggeratedly "isn't it obvious? Ok ok I'm just messing around, I'm playing, oh I'm planning to built an airplane from those pages of those files! And this? Haha this are good for making play money. That's why this office is in mess"
O_O My bff is on her crazy condition again hayy... Athena thought while seeing Her bff's messy condition.
"ahh so this is what you've been doing in that passed 3 months? This are pft" she managed to not laugh but at the end she still didn't "hahaha! Hahaha!!"
Alyana expected her bff to react like that already, she knows her 99%! remember? Laughing at her were normal already, a normal crazy behavior of her bff.
"ok you're free to laugh, I'm busy shu!" Alyana might not be concentrated at searching already if Athena continued her laughs inside her office so she wanted to shu her out already.
But this time Athena wouldn't let her do that, she wasn't here just to laugh at her. Because She had a big news instead!
Athena being pushed slowly towards the door stopped Alyana with her words "10 of my and Hero's friends and 20 of my batchmates wanted to register at your agency!"
Hearing her bff's words, Alyana suddenly froze and repeated at her mind... 10 of hers and Hero's friends and 20 of her batchmates wanted to register at our agency?!...
Then she turned Athena to look at her and asked almost whispering "Are you really telling me 10 friends and 20 batchmates? Ajsgdjfkb..."
"yes! What? What are you murmuring?" she asked as she didn't heard Alyana's last words after telling those 10 friends and 20 batchmates.
Alyana didn't responded as she walked towards her desk absentmindedly Instead.
"hey what's happening on you?" Athena can't help asking already. But again Alyana didn't responded, she just saw her drinking water from her cute tumbler already.
And Secretary Jin without Athena's awareness came near already and answered her questions "Miss, I'm sorry it seems like Ms. Malaya just stopped thinking from our agency's critical condition. And now she's drinking to relax herself from your good news" Jin apologized.
Jin was right! Alyana hearing the good news? She programmed herself to stop thinking to suppress her stress and drink water to relax herself to avoid using her last energy to celebrate the said good news!
Well 10 friends plus 20 batchmates is equals to 1 month success! And not with that, If they successfully matched them within the month? There will be a big chance of achieving the increase of salaries to each members of their team for an outstanding performance!
After an hour... Alyana were back on her self again while all of her members were busy with their designated people to match this month already. They are 30 members inside the Gold team which includes her and Jin. So there will be 1 match assigned to each one of them.
But it seems that Athena just gave 29 contact #s to be contacted for the next hours. Well Athena were confused as well coz she was sure that there are 30 people to be matched. So she contacted her husband Hero. "Ahh so the last one was still pending? Ok, yah, yes, ok see you at home hon muah!" Athena ended the call.
"so?" Alyana who's carefully waiting for the update,finally asked.
"Oh 'bout the last one, Hero wasn't yet sure. But for sure tomorrow, he will be sure already" Athena answered her with her cute and optimistic face. Alyana just then nodded.
Well that 29 contacts had been assigned at her 29 members an hour ago already. Knowing that there will be another one contact? They all came out with an arrangement and that was the last one will be assigned to their leader whom was her. Well she also agreed so things were settled already. When Athena wasn't yet finished telling her update?
"hmm I'm sure Jaime will definitely choose you, he will register at your agency!"
