Midtopia region.
A region that located right in the center of all other region. Causing the region to have all Pokemon from other region like Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, and Kalos.
Fellocia Town is a city that was located in the most southern side of the region.
Despite that, this city quite big in size and have a trainer school, training ground and even a strolling park for trainer and their Pokemon to relax.
In this region, there was 5 professor. One of them is in the Fellocia Town. Her name is Sophia.
She excel in breeding Pokemon and teaching children.
Every year, she will give young trainers their starter Pokemon. But, in this region, teenager only allowed to be an official Pokemon Trainer after they graduated from the Trainer School.
It is allowed to have Pokemon before graduated but for them to become an official Trainer, they must graduated first. After graduating, they were free to choose either to take on League, to take on Contest, or anything else.
Because of this rule, every year, the five professor have to prepared around 20 starters.
Today is the scheduled date for young trainer to do the graduating ceremony. As per usual, professor Sophia bring along 25 starter Pokemon.
-Trainer School-
"Ahem! Greetings young trainer! As you know, today is your graduating day. You have trained to be a good trainer here for years. I hope you'll remember all of our teaching and become a splendid trainer yourself"
"Yes, sir!"
After all the students answer the principal, he then give the signal to the people outside to launch the fireworks. The fireworks is the sign for saying that the student have graduated.
After that, the principal get down from the podium and let Professor Sophia to take the stage.
Professor Sophia is a woman on her mid 20's. She has a long purple hair and wear rounded glasses. For people who met her for the first time, nobody will guessed that she was indeed a Pokemon Professor.
"Alright! Are you guys ready for your Pokemon?!"
"YEAAAHHHHHH!!"
After that, she give a signal to her aid to bring up the big table from behind the back room.
"Inside here is the 25 Pokemon that may or may not be your starter. You can see all the Pokemon in the list that have been given by the principal one week ago. The students with the top score will come first to choose his/her partner. But remember! The Pokemon will choose its own trainer. If they didn't think you guys are worthy then they will not befriended you"
After hearing those words, all the students begin whispering to each other
"Alright then! First student, Kuuro, step here!"
But nobody responded.
"Ummm... Kuuro?"
After a while, a boy stand up
"Ummm.. Professor? He said that he didn't need the starter"
"Huh?? What's that mean?! Does that mean he's not interested in this?"
"No, it's the opposite, Professor... Kuuro, he already have 2 Pokemon with him and he didn't want a partner that was "forced" to him"
"... Huh?"

In the park that was located not far from the school. A young boy was stretching under a big tree.
The boy wearing a silver short-sleeved jacket with a dark jeans. He also has an armband in his left hand. He carries a large messenger bag.
Besides the boy, there was a cyndaquil and buneary that was also excercising.
"Alright, ready to go, Hino? Mimi?"
The both of them reply happily.
"Well then... Let's go to unveil the mystery!"
