Two days ago was the last day of the written finals for the First-years and yesterday they got their results back. Logan had just fallen asleep with Glynda after helping her grade numerous papers into the late, early morning as the CCT was down for maintenance and every computer in the school along with it. It was around noon when an alert went out to the student body and Professors. Logan and Glynda, who were both asleep at the time, were jolted awake.
.
Glynda wasn't worried as it involved the pods in the parking lot and she didn't have a vehicle. But Logan took the alert with some wonder as he had a pod that contained his bike, a small, rolling toolbox, and a workbench. Logan figured he might as well check it to see what was going on.
.
Getting out of bed and getting dressed, Logan left after kissing Glynda. Logan didn't think that the alert was anything major, at most a student messing around and crashing their car. But he couldn't shake the feeling that someone just might have pissed him off. Doing his best to keep his mind calm, Logan walked out of the teacher's dorms and headed for the parking garage.
.
As he arrived, the first thing that caught his attention was the fact that the Vale Police Department was there as well. Usually, Beacon handled all issues that happened on the school's grounds and only got the V.P.D. involved when it became an issue they couldn't legally handle themselves. These problems included assault, murder, theft of over 1,000 Lien, and destruction of several thousands of Lien to personal items belonging to either professor or student. And from what Logan could see, the V.P.D. was blocking off all access from the parking lot except to professors and those afflicted.
.
Logan jogged over and presented himself as a professor and showed his hunter's license to an Officer that then let him in. Once inside, Logan saw that someone had opened and trashed several student's pods while having gone through them as well. And that was just the first level of the parking garage. On the second level where the Professor's stored their vehicles, the door was hacked open and the gate was rammed open by a vehicle. From what Logan could see that whoever did this seemed like they were doing it out of revenge for something. Going farther in, Logan saw that whoever did this was looking for someone's pod in particular as most professor's pods were untouched. That was until he got to his pod.
.
His pod's door was ripped off and his bike was gone. Numerous tools were strewn about the pod and his workbench was broken in half. The walls were covered in racial slurs and suggestive remarks about Logan. Logan was surprised as he was decently like by most that went to Beacon and helped where he could. It was then that he started to put together the pieces.
.
Logan realized that most of those that were inside the garage were Faunus or those that were kind to Faunus. Others simply seem to be random as to why their pods were attacked. And for the Professor's pods that were attacked, it was only those that had to do with training Hunters/Huntresses.
.
As his thoughts went to those that could be responsible, he walked into his trashed pod and moved a false panel off the wall as Ozpin walked in.
.
Ozpin: "I see you didn't escape this, Logan." Ozin said as he looked around the pod. "And I see you had the worst done as well." He said as he took a sip of his coffee cup.
Logan: "Considering my bike is gone and I put way too much time and money into it, I'm doing my best to keep calm." Logan said as he pulled his scroll out and plugged a cord into it.
Ozpin: "You aren't the only one." Ozpin said as he walked up behind him. "If I remember correctly, I permitted you to put cameras up in your pod."
Logan: "You did." Logan answered as the camera's recording downloaded onto his scroll.
Ozpin: "I'll get to the point then." Ozpin sighed. "I'm here to ask you if you could copy and send me the recording to help find those that did this."
Logan: "You'll get it, you don't need to worry about that." Logan said as his voice grew low and began to hold a lot of malevolence. "After all, I'm gutting those that did this as soon as I find them."
Ozpin: "Logan-" Ozpin went to say something, but Logan threw his scroll at him and stomped out.
Logan: "Read their lips." That was all that Logan said as he disappeared.
.
Ozpin wasn't sure if letting Logan go was a good thing until he looked at the recording. There, he saw what happened and who had done the crimes. As Ozpin went to go and stop Logan, he realized what Logan had meant before he left. Looking back at the footage and replaying it again, it was then he decided to let this play out. After all, he rather not deal with a pissed-off Pheonix.

Logan had just informed Glynda about what happened and who had done it. While she was concerned about it, Logan convinced her to let him handle it alone. When she asked why he told her the truth that the people who did it were after her and several others during the Summer break. Logan had planned to take them down during the Summer break before they could do anything more than they already have.
.
While Glynda wasn't completely sure that he should do this alone, she at least asked him to make constant updates to let her know what was happening. Logan agreed to the request and spent the rest of the school year until the break started. Whoever, once it did start, Logan disappeared from the public's eye. Only a few knew why he disappeared and they weren't telling a soul.

Logan sighed as he entered Junior's bar. While Logan was in a disguise, it was just a different set of clothes, a facemask, and a hat. As Logan entered the club, Miltiades 'Miltia' and Melanie stopped him. While they were the club's enforcers, they also handled the club's backroom deals with Junior. As they asked, demanded, for Logan to remove his hat and facemask; Logan gave them a coded message. One Junior used for backroom deals.
.
As soon as they heard the message, they escorted Logan into a hidden room above the dance floor. The insides of the room looked more like an office than a hidden room, complete with its own minibar. Logan waited for about ten minutes before the door opened again and Junior came in with Militia and Melanie in tow. After a short greeting, Logan and Junior sat down while the twins went and got them drinks. Junior in an armchair and Logan on a couch.
.
Junior: "Well, to what do I owe the pleasure of doing business with you, Logan?" Junior asked as the twins stood behind him and took a sip of his drink.
Logan: "Cut the act, Junior." Logan said curtly as he downed his drink. "We both know why we're here. Nothing happens in Vale without you knowing."
Junior: "So this IS about the parking garage." Junior chuckled and took another sip. "Well, what do you want to know?"
Logan: "Locations, times, and whoever helped them." Logan said darkly.
Junior: "Since your asking, you already know who did the deed." Junior sighed, hoping to get more out of Logan. "It will be my usual rate with half upfront like normal. Though I'm surprised you didn't try to use our friendship to get a discount."
.
Logan: "I know when to draw the line between friendship and business. Plus, you know when to separate business from friendship when it comes to it, at least when there isn't any profit from it." Logan said as he reached into the jacket he was wearing and pulled out an envelope of Lien and tossed it to Junior.
Junior: "And that's why I let you buy from the top shelf at two-thirds of the price." Junior said while laughing and handing the envelope to 'Miltia' who began to count it.
Logan: "Yet, I always still pay full price for them." Logan let out a dry chuckle. "Anyway, you know what I want..."
Junior: "Yea, yea, yea." Junior waved his hand dismissively and got confirmation from 'Miltia'. "Seems like everything in order. Melanie, 'Miltia', please go grab the files."
.
The twins just nodded their heads and left the room without a word. Junior sighed as he relaxed into the chair he was in. Logan just shook his head when he saw this. Logan knew for the time the two of them just drank and aired their grievances that the twins were the only reason why Junior even got this club in the first place.
.
Logan gave Junior a small smirk as it was his fault that the club turned out as it did. After all, Junior wanted the place to be an information hub, but the twins basically stopped him at every point along the way. It was only thanks to Junior making a deal with the twins' mother that he even got the place established. Logan didn't know what the deal was, but it basically ended up with the twins being his assistants in every deal.
.
Junior: "So, what's the plan once you get the information?" Junior asked as the Twins came back in.
Logan: "Depends." Logan shrugged. "If they're stupid, they'll have an unfortunate accident. All of them."
Junior: "And if they're smart?" Junior couldn't help but ask as the twins handed him the files.
.
As soon as Junior asked that question, he could see what was going to happen in Logan's eyes. Death would be the safest way to escape him, and even the devil would fear what Logan would do. Junior could just feel the hate that radiated off of Logan and it came off in waves. Not even he was immune to the pressure Logan radiated.
.
As the Twins stood behind Junior, they got themselves ready should Logan attack. But they could just feel that they were bugs about to attack a giant, one that far outclassed anything they could do. Junior, while feeling the same, kept his composure and coughed; bringing Logan out of his thoughts.
.
Logan: "Sorry, those that were behind the parking garage incident said some very, unkind things and activities they were gonna do if they caught certain people." Logan said calmly with a kind smile that never reached his eyes. "It just made me a bit upset."
Junior: " 'A bit', huh?" Junior sweatdropped. "Well then, here's what we have at the moment," Junior said as he handed the files to Logan. "I'll be kind enough for you to look over them before the second half of the payment."
Logan: "No need." Logan said as he took out another envelope and tossed it to Junior. "I trust you not to cross me and I know that you wouldn't unless you had no other choice. I'll take my leave here, and don't worry. When I come back, I'll bring a bottle from my personal stash for the trouble I caused you."
.
As soon as Logan stopped speaking, he moved out of the room and club. The trio didn't even breathe soundly until they couldn't feel him anymore. And when they did, they left out an unexpected breath they were holding.
.
The Twins collapsed to the floor as their legs gave out from under them. Junior himself slid down into his chair while rubbing his face. When the Twins regained the ability to stand on their own, they moved and sat down on the couch where Logan sat.
.
'Miltia': "What is he?" 'Miltia' asked as soon as she sat down.
Junior: "The two of you thought that he was just a drinking that I liked being around." Junior said as he took a sip of his drink. "But, all I can say is that the two of you were wrong. In so many ways."
Melanie: "Explain." Melanie demanded, but her hands could easily be seen shaking.
Junior: "Logan Scarlett." Junior started. "Remnant's youngest Hunter and one of the deadliest people you'll ever meet. Hell, even I'm afraid of the guy. But, he's also one of the nicest people you'll ever meet too."
Melanie: "Really?" Melanie said sarcastically. "And here I thought he was just a Grimm in a Human disguise."
Junior: "If half of the things I have on him are anything to go by, it's a miracle that he hasn't gone insane from the things he had to do." Junior sighed. "From the things he's put himself through."
'Miltia': "I've seen his file." 'Miltia' said quietly.
Junior: "And it's all true." Junior said as he got up to pour himself another drink. "And that's why I always try to befriend the broken ones. You never know what's gonna set them off and it's better to be on their good side. That way, they're less likely to go after you."
