Chapter 65 - Tournament part 3

[Logan P.o.v]

I did it again, I fell in love. I fell in love, this time with someone I never thought I would fall in love with. Glynda Goodwitch, a lovely blonde haired, emerald eyed woman with average height and round face. I didn't even know that I did until last night. Until she confessed to me, though she was scared and had to do it drunk, but she did nonetheless.

I laid there on my side as she laid on my wing and chest, sound asleep and with a pure smile adorning her beautiful lips. I did not know what she was dreaming of, but I know it was about us as she snuggled closer to me. My other wing covering our naked bodies mostly and a blanket covering the rest of us.

As I laid there, unwilling to move, I thought back to my first life. My first wife, Ava, used to do the same as her. I remembered when we got married, our first child who was a miscarriage, then hearing the news of her death. I remembered all that we had plus the good times and bad times. The simple times when we just sat together in each other's arms. I remembered it all.

I already come to terms with letting the past go and look to my future here in Remnant. Already accepting that Ava was gone and told me to let myself live my life. My only hope is that I can protect Glynda when the time comes.

As I couldn't move for fear of waking her up, I began to manipulate my ash to grab my scroll to check the time. Seeing that it was getting close to the time we needed to get up, I decided to make breakfast, a bit differently. I already had everything in my [Inventory] I needed for a English breakfast except the orange juice, but the both of us were coffee lovers anyway. I slowly took what I needed out while making sure I didn't make a sound. I started with the eggs and bacon first as I set my coffee pot out and made up some using the coffee beans I brought over.

???: "You know, you could have just asked me to move." I heard from my side as the bacon and eggs were cooked to our preferred perfection.

Logan: "Sorry, I thought that you were still asleep, Love." I replied when I heard Glynda's lovely voice as I plated the food. "The coffee still needs a few minutes to boil and I was just about to start the toast." I said as I continued to cook.

Glynda: "Sounds perfect." She yawned as she shifted her weight as sat up and pushed my wing aside, revealing her flawless white skin and ample breasts for my eyes to feast on as they jiggled. Her blonde hair was down and a mess, yet to me, she seemed even more beautiful.

Logan: "Yet, you are the definition of perfection to me." I told her as I sat up as well and pulled her into my arms after I hid my wings. I felt pins and needles in my wing, yet it was a small price to pay.

Glynda: "Hush mister." She blushed as she poked my side. "Thanks to you, I'm gonna have trouble walking."

Logan: "Like you didn't enjoy it." I teased her. "If you didn't, you wouldn't of asked for more."

Glynda: "Shut up..." She mumbled into my chest as her ears became a deep shade of crimson red. I could tell she was starting to remember everything we did last night.

The two of us then relaxed in a comfortable silence as we ate the food I cook and drank our coffee. Neither one of us were sure how to breach the subject of our new relationship. Until finally, Glynda was the first to speak once we finished eating.

Glynda: "Look, Logan. I'm sorry about last night." She started, but I stopped her before she got into her own head. I could feel her tense up as she was talking.

Logan: "Glynda, I feel the same way about you." I told her. "I learned that last night as well. I want to be with you."

Glynda: "That's... I'm very, very happy to hear that." She replied as I felt her relax. "But I'm worried that you'll leave me for someone younger, plus I'm getting close to 30 and you're only 18." She started again.

I sighed. In less than a second, our plates and utensils were suspended in the air by my ash as I pinned her under me. With one hand, I had her arms above her head and the other I used to caress her face gently. We locked eyes for a few moments before I started to devour her soft lips. When I broke the kiss, we had a string of saliva connecting our mouths together. Our breaths coming out hot and fast as our eyes never left each other.

Logan: "If I can't be with you, then I rather be with no one else." I spoke softly but with complete conviction. "And I'm 19. During my latest stint in the hospital, my birthday past." I said as I gave her a cheeky smile.

She pouted and gave me a glare that I found adorable. I couldn't help but smile as I gave her another kiss before I got off of her and the bed. As I stood up and stretched, I felt the familiar popping of my joints then a stinging sensation on my ass. When I turned to face Glynda, she was sporting a sexy smirk. Needless to say, I found the cause.

I gave her a devilish smile as I got an idea. She let out a little yelp when I grabbed her in a princess carry and walked into the bathroom. She was nervous as we entered, yet squealed when I started washing her as well as myself. Well, we did have some fun as well.

I won't say how long we were in there, but I hope no one will notice that Glynda has a slight limp. By the time we got out of the bathroom, we were scrambling to get dressed as we had little time left before we had to get to our posts for the festival. Well, I had to. She had time to kill and just relaxed for a while. I didn't blame her, I did go a bit hard on her in the shower. But, she went just as far as me; I had bruises in places that were easily hidden but very painful. It's times like these I'm glad that my golden flames could heal me somewhat.

Logan: 'Note to self, work on my healing skills with my golden flames.' I thought as I gave Glynda a kiss before leaving.

As I flew out of her window, I took a few seconds to get the numbness out of my wings. By the time I got to my post at the festival grounds, I had less than a minute left until I had to report in. And who do I find waiting for me? None other then RWBY was waiting for me along with Tai and Summer. I had a bad feeling when Tai, Summer, and Yang saw me. While they looked at me with smug grins, Blake actually show surprise on her face. Thankfully Weiss and Ruby were blissfully unaware and didn't notice as they were chatting about the upcoming end of term tests. I caught a bit about Ruby needing some help with a class.

Logan: "You three, Ruby's here." I groaned out before they could start.

Yang: "Please, those two were cuddling and making out last night." Yang spoke while gesturing towards Weiss and Ruby, both of who were blushing like mad at the statement.

Ruby: "You and Blake were getting hands yourselves!" Ruby shouted back at Yang who shrugged and Blake turned away with a slight ting to her ears.

Summer: "Girls, please." Summer said, which caused a shiver to run down my spine. "I think the most important issue here is Logan."

Those two simple sentences made me shiver more as I watched them turn towards me with gleaming eyes. Tai saw what was going to happen and just gave me a pat on the back before he walked off, probably giving a silent prayer to Oum for me. As I watched him walk away, I felt hands latch on to me from behind. I cursed in my mind as I knew that running would make it worse; so with a little ash, I took the piece of paper that had my patrol orders on it and threw it at him. I watched it peg him in the back of the head as I was dragged away. I didn't get a chance to see if he got what I was asking of him as the girls swarmed and blocked my view of him.

Three hours. They interrogated me for three hours straight. They tried everything bared physical violence to get me to talk. I'm not sure what gave away what me and Glynda did last night, but I know that Summer and the girls desperately wanted to know out about it. Ruby even gave me her puppy dog eyes that she used to do when we were younger got get cookies. Blake jumped in as we since she sees me as a brother and gave her kitty cat eyes along with Ruby. I didn't break, but Summer did when she swept the two of them up in a bone crushing hug. I didn't run even then, it would just make it worse.

I just wonder if Glynda has to deal with this...

Almost immediately as soon as I got near the elevator with heading to Ozpin's office, Salem pulled me aside and dragged me to a private room she had. Not knowing why, I sat down when she asked me to and waited for her to get back when she left. She came back about five maybe six minutes later with a tray of tea and cookies. I was confused as to why she was like this, but her smile she had made me nervous.

She started off with some simple conversation starters which threw me off more. Then it was like she ripped a bandage off that made me spit the tea I was drinking out. Salem out right asked how Logan was in bed. I was stunned. I mean, I made sure that nothing looked or seemed different. So how did she know?

Then she told me. Apparently, when Logan and I made 'love', he unconsciously marked me with his magic. A form of mark between him and I to keep others away. Salem notice it right away when she saw me. After she told me how, she demanded to know what exactly happened between the two of us. Even though she was blindfolded, she gave me a look that said she wouldn't leave me be until she heard it. I folded under her look not long after.

Glynda: 'Sorry Logan.' I thought as I was seated in front of Salem. I had just spilled everything.

Salem: "So, let me get this straight." She started. "Due to the amount of paper work you had, Logan decided to stop over after handing the plans from Roman's hideout to help you out. Then as the two of you finished, you decided to confess but you couldn't do it sober. After that, the two of you 'consummated' your relationship." She finished her breakdown of what happened between the two of us. I was just glade she brought me aside when she first saw me today.

Glynda: "Oh Oum, why do you have to be so perceptive?" I ask as I rest my head in my hands. "Yes, that's right." I grumbled.

Salem: "I'm not judging you, Glynda. I'm really not." She spoke reassuringly. "If anything, I'm happy for you to have found love." By the tone of her voice, I could tell she was telling the truth.

Glynda: "Then why does it feel like this was a successful interrogation for you?" I ask her while drinking the tea she made for us.

Salem: "Let me put it this way." Salem said as she got up and patted me on the shoulder. "With the way that he marked you, he'll make anyone who tries to court you in the future disappear. He's that serious."

Glynda: "Well, that's reassuring." I said with a chuckle.

Salem: "Do you love him?" She asked me. And I'll admit that my answer came to me faster then I thought.

Glynda: "If I can't be with him, then I rather be with no one else." I said, mirroring his words. And the conviction I felt when I said those words was immense.

Salem just looked at me with a smile that said all she need to. And she didn't need to say anymore as we elapsed into a comfortable silence. Broken only by the crunch of the cookies Salem brought.
