Ozpin: "Logan, I can't say that I'm not surprised that you put Miss Rose and Miss Xiao Long in the same team." Ozpin said to Logan as him, Logan, and Glynda were inside Ozpin's office. "Though I fear they may cause discontent with in the team." Salem sat aside at a small table and chair with a tea set, just listening to the discussion.
Logan: "They'll be fine, Professor." Logan replied casually. "The one we should watch will be Miss Schnee."
Glynda: "I can understand why. She's been living in luxury, almost as a princess." Glynda said as she went over Weiss's profile on her tablet, then projected it on to a nearby screen so they could all view it.
Ozpin: "Yet she didn't come here with a recommendation. She entered through normal means." Ozpin pointed out.
Logan: "Still, I have a feeling she'll believe that she should be the rightful team leader. All because of that." Logan countered.
Ozpin: "What about team JNPR?" Ozpin asked after pausing a moment.
Glynda: "Pyrrha Nikos, 'Pride of Mistral', a professionally-capable, friendly, righteous yet relaxed and selfless person. Entered through normal means and rejected the recommendation she had. Though her test scores are the highest we've ever had." Glynda spoke after pulling up team JNPR's file.
Logan: "Being good nature-ed or highly praised doesn't mean she'll be a good leader." Logan said after looking over her file.
Glynda: "Next is Nora Valkyrie. A happy-go-lucky, bubbly and playful young girl. Her enthusiasm is enough to run a kingdom for years. Her test scores, though unusual, her still quite high."
Logan: " 'Nora smash' ." Was all that Logan said about her.
Glynda: " Next, Lie Ren. A mellow and quiet individual. He shows a great deal of patience when dealing with Miss Valkyrie as they are childhood friends. High scores on both the written and physical tests."
Logan: "Being patient and understanding are good qualities, but I'm not sure he's cut out to be team leader." Logan spoke as he read Ren's file. "A good vice captain maybe, but not team lead."
Glynda: "Lastly, Jaune Arc. An unusual young man." Glynda said "According to his transcripts, he's a model student, kind, caring, and an all around friendly teen."
Ozpin: "What's the matter?" Ozpin said as he caught the change in Glynda's tone.
Glynda: "I don't care what his transcripts say, he isn't ready for this school." Glynda said after a moment of contemplating.
Logan: "I'll say." Logan spoke somewhat loudly.
Ozpin: "What's wrong?" Ozpin asked curiously.
Logan: "Professor Ozpin, how many people do you know of that could fake transcripts into this school?" Logan asked him.
Ozpin: "Not many, and the only one that should be able is in Atlas." Ozpin answered truthfully. "Why? Do you think he managed to fake his transcripts?"
Logan: "No, his just looks off." Logan spoke. "Something about it rubs me the wrong way. I'll keep an eye on him while in class and when I can."
Ozpin: "Understood and thank you. Now, the assembly for new teams starts in half an hour so well end this meeting here." Ozpin thanked Logan and then ended the meeting. "Please head off to do what you need then be at the amphitheater ten minutes before the start."
Ozpin then dismissed Logan and Glynda once he finished speaking. Logan didn't mind and went with it and headed into the elevator. Once he and Glynda headed down, Logan realized something he hadn't asked before.
Logan: "Glynda, question." Logan said as he turned to Glynda. "What about my living arrangements while I'm here?"
Glynda: "I believe that Ozpin had a room made for you in the Teacher's dorm." Glynda said as she was going through her tablet. "There should be a room there with a plaque with your name on it."
Logan: "I see, thank you." Logan said, then he saw her face scrunch up. "You okay?"
Glynda: "When you said that Mr Arc's transcripts were off, I been looking into it. So far everything's been normal so far. Consistent grades, consistent good behavior, and semi decent training." Glynda replied. "I just can't seem to find any issue with it."
Logan: "I'm keeping an eye on him Glynda. So relax a bit." Logan said as they stepped out of the elevator. "I'm keeping an eye on him, so if anything happens or comes up, you'll know."
Glynda sighed and thanked Logan. She then turned and went in one direction while Logan went in another. As Logan made his way to the Teacher dormitory, his thoughts wondered here and there. Basically making his body move on auto-pilot.
Logan: ' *Sigh* Man, why did I ever think of helping with the school was a good idea?' Logan thought. 'Yes, being here will help keep track of what is happening and could happen. And yes, being here I could very easily keep everyone that died her due to Cinder and her gang safer.'
Logan thought as he weaved through the hallways of the school. Several already enrolled student's giving him weird looks. Logan didn't even notice them.
Logan: 'But what did Karma mean when she said she sent my soul here during a certain point? The only one I can think of is when the 'Brother Gods' wiped out all human life. Then from there, humanity had to evolve back. That's the only time I could think she could have sent me.' Logan continued to think as he entered the Teacher's dorm.
Logan removed himself from his thoughts as he walked up to the directory, a.k.a the board that lists all the names of teacher and their room number. Logan sighed at the numerous names on the board. He knew that the school was massive and knew that it held a massive amount of students, but things like this really put it into perspective for Logan after he found out it also doubled as a collage for some. The board held nearly one hundred names for teachers. It took a minute for Logan to find his name and found his room was on the bottom floor, room number 7.
Sighing, Logan headed left to his room. Hoping that his things were inside already. Logan knew that he had to make an impact for Ozpin during the team naming ceremony.
Logan: 'Seriously, Oz. You literally asked me to make them understand what they're getting from me.' Logan thought as he walked the dorm's halls. 'What am I suppose to do? Appear out of a fire?.... Okay, maybe that would work. But still, what would they get form me? Would what I did with Ruby and Yang be good enough? They aren't at someone's level like Pyrrha's maybe. But they could give her somewhat of a challenge.'
Logan's mind ran wild as he tried to figure it out. Left, right, and center. By the time Logan found his dorm room, he had nothing.
Logan: "Well, I might as well do my best, or worst." Logan said to himself as he entered his dorm. "If I'm gonna do this, I might as well make a point of what I can do."
~~~~~~Amphitheater Ceremony ~~~~~~
Ozpin: "*Cough* Thank you all for coming. Both new and old students." Ozpin began the team ceremony. "We are gathered here for the time honored tradition of assigning teams to one another..." Ozpin continued as Glynda and several professors stood on stage with him.
Logan sat just outside the amphitheater's doors as Ozpin gave the opening speech for those who passed the Huntsmen initiation test. From what Logan was given, 12 out of the 56 enroll-ies made it while the rest ether didn't make the mark or were in a different area waiting for the next speech for those who were entering the collage part of the school. Something inside Logan made him want to sleep through the whole thing.
Ozpin droned on for a few minutes, mainly about the school's history and the few war that happened. About how the school was once a castle for the King of Vale and how he gave to be used a school for the future hopes of Remnant. Even thought Ozpin only talked for a few minutes, he damn near put the entire amphitheater to sleep. Almost himself and the teachers behind him as well.
Ozpin: "Now it is time to introduce those who pass and the new teams that have been formed." Ozpin spoke loudly, waking those that were nearly asleep up. "When I call your name, please come forth."
[A/N: For the names, just know that it's Ozpin. And all oc s are one time only.]
"Clavel Gainsboro" The very same faunus that gave Logan a flying clothesline. The teen stood nearly eight feet tall and built like a body builder. Clad in long green shorts, sandals, and a Spanish grey shirt. His weapon, a great big bow, was nestled on his back with a quiver full of arrows right next to it.
"Umber Chest" Was the tiny mouse girl that was with Clavel. Nearly four feet tall with messy chestnut hair. Dressed in short shorts, ankle boots, and a white shirt that said 'eat this' with a middle finger on it. Her weapon of choice was a massive mallet that dwarfed her in height and was wider then her.
"Nyanza Pink" A very... pink girl is all that saw her could say. Short pink hair, pink eyes, and a pink dress. Everything about her was pink, including her weapon which is a whip was pink!
"Malcolm Navajo" An average height human teen with an off shade of white hair. He wore a black turtle neck shirt with black pants and shoes. From what Logan could see, his weapons were most likely two katars as they were strapped to his legs.
Ozpin: "You four retrieved the black king 'relics'. And from this day, you will be know as, team GUNN (Gun =Gunmetal Grey). Lead by... Malcolm Navajo. Congratulations."
A round of applause erupted as the first of the new teams was made. Ozpin let it go on for a minute before silencing the crowd. After it all calmed down, he began again.
Ozpin: "Cardin Winchester, Russel Thrush, Dove Bronzewing, and Sky Lark." Each one appeared as they did in the show. And none of them were happy. Logan knew why and what Ozpin said next gave him and every one who heard it the giggles. "You four didn't get the chance to retrieve a relic, but you four showed enough promise to be given the pink pawn relic. From this day forth, you'll be known as team CRDL. Lead by Cardin Winchester."
As the new team left the stage, they did their best to keep themselves under control. But ti was a very close thing. Once everyone calmed down, the rest went like normal. Jaune, Pyrrha, Nora, and Ren were all put into a team like cannon. Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang were placed into team RWBY as cannon as well. Then, Ozpin began to speak once more, but it wasn't the ending speech.
Ozpin: "Now then, it's time I introduced someone." Ozpin spoke, causing everyone to quiet down. "The person I'm about to introduce will be both a teacher and student of this school. He, as well, was the proctor and a hidden element in this year's initiation."
His words caused murmurs to spread like wildfire throughout the audience. 'A teacher AND student?' and 'What does he mean?' were the most heard murmurs. As the audience's minds where scrambling for answers, Logan decided to enter.
Ozpin: "I believe he should speak for himself."
~~~~~~ With Logan ~~~~~~
As soon as Logan heard Ozpin say that he should speak for himself, a smile grew on his face. Logan stood in-front of the doors while taking a deep breath. Putting on his helmet that he was carrying, Logan opened the doors while releasing both his aura and mana as a pressure wave. Causing all the student to freeze in fear. The only ones that were immune to this were the Professors and Ozpin as they just watched Logan's entrance.
Each step Logan took echoed in the silent amphitheater loudly. None of the students, new or old, dared to turn around. By the time Logan made it to the stage, all the students broke out in a cold sweat. When Logan stood in-front of Ozpin, he lessened the pressure he was emitting. With a nod, Logan turned to address the students.
Logan stood before the microphone in full gear. Two tone, black and tan, steel toed combat boots. fitted blue jeans with foot, shin, and knee guards. One belt through his jean's belt loops and another belt around his waist that held two different small gun hostlers. A long sleeve tight faded red t-shirt with forearm and elbow pads. On his hands were gloves that had metal knuckle guards with a metal plate on the back of the gloves. On his chest was a rig that prioritized ammunition over protection. On his head was a red and grey helmet that completely encompassed his head.
Logan: "I thank you all for your presence here today. I am Logan Scarlett." Logan said as he removed his helmet. "I hope you all can handle my teaching methods, because it's not for the faint of heart."
