Chapter 48 - CHAPTER 48: BLIND DATE SET UP

Rhianna calmed herself as she talked to him after hugging her that almost numb her feet standing for a long time.

They were both sitting in front of the table facing each other. The foods and wines were already set. They ate silently without words though the food was just touching a little. They were both drink wines without noticing due to their situation.

Ocean first talked, "How are you? You know I have a lot of things I need to know from you." He said looking at her seriously.

Rhianna was nervous. She keeps on refilling her glass of wine. She does not know how to say it. Ocean waited for her to speak. However, he stopped her quickly as she was about to drink the third glass.

"Stop it, do you want be drunk? Why did you not answer me? What did I do to deserve those times you left me?" Ocean got a little angry.

"I cannot tell you for now. I am sorry. It is not time for this." She said looked at him. "I am here for business. So, let's talk about business not us."

Ocean brows met. "What business are you talking about?"

"What? I thought you are meeting Calvin because of business. He told me I am meeting a client, in behalf of him." Rhianna said feeling confused.

Ocean laughed. "No, I don't think so."

Rhianna's face turned red. "Then, what are you doing here?"

"My brother insisted to have a blind date. And I refused but he keeps on bothering me even my mom." Ocean told her. "So, I agreed but told them just once after this they will not arrange me ever."

Rhianna got a little bit confuse too. "Blind date? What about Olivia? I thought you and Olivia were seeing each other." She said but her heart was in pain mentioning her name.

"Olivia? Who told you that I am seeing Olivia?" He is now confused.

"You are not?" She asked back for confirmation.

Ocean smirked. "Of course, I am not seeing Olivia or any other women. That is why they arranged me this blind date but I am glad they did. Now, it was you I met." He grinned teasingly.

Rhianna quickly stood up. "I think I got to go."

Ocean held her hand once again. "I don't think so, babe. You are not going anywhere until you tell me. I won't let you off this time."

Rhianna tried to let go but Ocean was so strong that she cannot release. She glared at him.

"Okay, okay, I will stay." She said because her wrist was hurt from holding.

She sat back and grabbed the wine again; she drinks it straight. Ocean quickly takes the bottle of wine then placed it far away from her. She already drinks too much. He does not know why she keeps changing the topic between them.

She got up and went to the bathroom. She really needs to pee due to the wine. She stayed there for a while then went out. The table was clear as she saw the hotel staff walking out with the cart.

Ocean was waiting for her at the sofa. She walked towards him though her brain was like flying. She quickly sat down and lean back her hand.

'I should not have drunk too much wine. I feel like wasted and I feel sleepy.'

Ocean sat beside her; she did not think about it. When she turned to her right-side Ocean was staring at her deeply.

His right hand placed on her face. "What happened to you on that day? You know how much I miss you and it broke my heart for leaving me. I miss you."

Without in the right mind she answered him. "I miss you too."

Ocean slowly bends closer to her. Both of her hands landed at Ocean's face. He kissed her gently on her lips.

Rhianna woke with terrible headache again. She drinks occasionally but not as drunk, she was last night. She could not tell him the reason it was unexpected situation.

She was confused. She opened her eyes and saw the hotel room. She remembered they kissed last night at the sofa and the rest was another thing.

'Oh my gosh! We did it again.' She turned her head to the man still sleeping beside her. They were both naked. Slowly, she sneaked out from the bed then put on her clothes. She opened the door and went out.

She does not want to talk to Ocean for now. Her mind was still not in the state of sanity. She needs time to think when she is sober.

Sab was already in front of the hotel to pick her up. Since it was Saturday, her kids were at the school for their extra-curricular activities.

She does not want to go home to the residence. She told Sab to send her to her old house. In due time, they were in front of the place.

Her old house in S City still properly maintained. Nanny Maria keeps it clean every two weeks.

Sab dropped her off to the house. She gave her some instructions not to disturb her the whole day. She needs some rest.

She went to her old room that newly renovated. A quick shower dried her hair then headed to her queen size bed.

She felt the soft of the bedsheet, in a minute she falls asleep.

Ocean woke up with the empty space to his side. Rhianna left again without notice. He was disappointed again to her.

He got up, quick shower then dialed his brother's number. It takes three rings before he answered.

"Hello, what's up?" he asked. "How did it go with your blind date?"

Ocean sighed. "Can you send me the phone number of your friend?"

"Why?" Oscar got confused. "What's wrong? She did not go last night?"

"Yes, we had a dinner and thanks about that. However, I have to ask something." He answered.

"I cannot give you his number because he told me not to let you know who the friend was." He denied. "Why? Did you not get her phone number?"

"No. It is okay I will find a way. Thanks." Ocean dropped the call without waiting for his brother another words.

He checked out and went to his car parked in the basement of the hotel. His mind was in one direction, Rhianna's house in Mango St.

He reached the house in due time. He saw the light from the inside of Rhianna's room. He pressed the doorbell but no one opened it.

He tried to the doorknob but to his surprise, it was open. He did not waste a minute he walks in by himself.

He roamed around inside the house. The house was empty with no servants as he goes in. He makes sure that the main door was lock before headed to Rhianna's room.

Rhianna's room was not lock at all. Ocean shook his head. 'This stupid woman, she sleeps alone without checking if the entire door is locked.' He murmured.

Looking at her sleeping like a baby. He slowly joined her to her bed.
