"It's been three days, Friede," I heard Sylens's voice echo through my mind.
I was slowly coming back to the world of the living. My bones ached, as though they'd been all broken to little pieces. My body felt heavy, as though filled with lead. I tried to move or make a sound, to no avail.
I spread my senses outward. I could still feel the three champions around me. Rimbaldi was sitting a little farther from me.
"Your constant nagging is getting on my nerves Sylens," I heard Heda say in a stern voice. "Friede's right, we are obligated to help him. Did you think we could have this mad man tied up if it weren't for him?"
Sylens scoffed. "It would have been much more difficult, yes, but I believe we would have done it." His deep voice felt like it vibrated against my chest.
