Shera wore a simple black dress, carried a silver purse, and then went downstairs, where Leo was already waiting. Seeing the adorable boy playing with Leo in the living room, her mood brightened up. She looked at Leo lovingly. "Let's go."
"Ashton, will you be alright on your own?" She asked. "Tell the nanny if you need anything, or give us a call."
He nodded comppliantly. Although he didn't say anything, it was evident from his drooping eyes that he didn't want them to leave him on his own.
Shera's heart melted. "We are going for the cake tasting. Do you want to come along?"
The boy looked up, his eyes sparkling with hope. "I love cakes. Can I come?"
"I don't see why not." Leo beckoned him over, much to his delight.
Hence, the family of three all made their way to the bakery.
