As Xiao Rong descended from the heavens with her real appearance, all of the eyes staring at her was filled with awe and admiration, as none of the people there have seen such a beautiful young lady.
Although she looked to be around thirteen years old, Xiao Rong's beauty surpassed that even of Liu Lanzhi by many times, and one can only imagine what kind of fairy she will grow to become as an adult.
However, while the experts from the Million Snakes Sect would like to stand there all day to admire Xiao Rong's beauty, her bloodthirsty aura quickly shook their bodies back to reality.

One of the experts quickly noted.

After saying those words, without even allowing the experts to react, Xiao Rong waved her sleeves, causing an arc of Profound Qi that resembled an invisible blade to swept across the place and directly towards the thirty experts.
The blade of Profound Qi traveled at a speed that was so quick that nobody from the Million Snakes Sect was able to react, and in less than half a second, it sliced the heads off nine bodies from the group of terrified experts.
Elder Wan and the others felt a shiver down their spine, and their body trembled uncontrollably in terror.
Within a blink of an eye, one-third of their group has been killed.
What kind of ludicrous prowess is this? What kind of monster could kill nine Earth Spirit Realm experts with a mere wave of her sleeves and treat them as though they are truly ants?

A few of the experts from the Million Snakes Sect immediately screamed with a horrified voice after witnessing the scene, even dropping on their butt. Some of them even pissed their pants after seeing Xiao Rong's fearsome strength.
However, the truth was that Xiao Rong had barely used her strength, and she was merely playing with these humans. If she really wanted to kill them as quickly as possible, all she needed to do was sneeze with not even half of her cultivation base and all of these so-called 'experts' would be erased from the face of this planet.
After killing nine people, Xiao Rong turned to look at the other 20 left, her gaze filled with entertainment.
While Ghost Cats are usually docile creatures by nature and rarely kills, once they begin killing, it will always result in a bloodbath at the end, and this is even more true for Phantom Cats. This is also why most people rather stay away from them, as they are not only hard to find but they are also extremely dangerous if offended.

Elder Wan shouted at the sky instead of Xiao Rong, as she's only being commanded by the mysterious voice.
"W-We will not only leave the Profound Blossom Sect alone from now on but we will also forget the fact that nine of our people have died here today! As for the Guardian Spirit, you can have it back!"
Elder Wan would very much rather discard the Guardian Spirit than offend a Sovereign Spirit Realm Cultivator anymore. As for what the Sect Master of the Million Snakes Sect might think of his actions, he will have to return and find out — if he manages to return alive.
However, the profound voice merely chuckled in a sneering manner.
"If I kill all of you here today, I will have the same results."
Elder Wan trembled upon hearing such ruthless words. It appears that this senior is much more dangerous than he'd expected.
"Why must you go this far? What benefit will you get out of killing us? It will only enrage the Million Snakes Sect even further! In fact, the entire Million Snakes Sect will be here within the next day if none of us returns!"
"Hahaha… such familiar words, where have I heard it before? Oh, right… the Profound Blossom Sect had begged you for the same thing just minutes ago…"
Nearly all of Elder Wan's hope in surviving were shattered after hearing the voice's words. It was clear to him that they had offended the voice to the point where mercy is no longer an option for him.
However, just as he thought that, the voice continued to speak.
"However, you speak of some truth. If nobody from your group returns to warn them, I will have to kill off the entire Million Snakes Sect — not that I have any problem with that, either."
"Then..."
Just as Elder Wan regained some hope, the voice immediately slapped his face with some brutal words.
"Xiao Rong, kill all of them except him."
In the next second, before Elder Wan could even react, Xiao Rong waved her sleeves again, causing powerful ripples to spread, almost like when a rock is dropped in a still lake.
The ripple moved incredibly fast, and the instant it touched the experts from the Million Snakes Sect, all of their bodies exploded into a bloody mess, creating a slight drizzle of fresh blood.
In a mere instant, all but one person from the Million Snakes Sect has ceased to exist without even being allowed the chance to scream.
Elder Wan could feel his mental state collapse as his dark green robes were dyed with the fresh blood of his fellow disciples, and he stood there for the longest time, silent and frozen like a real statue.
Chapter 264 Just Kill Me Now
Once the bloody drizzling came to an end, Elder Wan fell to his knees, feeling as though he had been thrown into a completely new world where the logic far differed from the world he once knew.
"Guest from the Million Snakes Sect, you may return to your place and warn them that I won't be as merciful as today if they wish for revenge."
The voice resounded once again.
However, Elder Wan remained unmoving, seemingly unconscious.
After a moment of silence, he mumbled, "Just kill me now, because the Million Snakes Sect will not let this matter go so easily. Amongst the people you killed just now, one of them was the Sect Master's cousin. Even if it will greatly affect the Million Snakes Sect, the Sect Master will surely try to avenge him."
Silence returned after Elder Wan finished speaking.
Though, the voice returned a few moments later.
"So you are telling me to just go ahead and erase the Million Snakes Sect? Very well…"
Elder Wan's eyes widened, and he quickly shouted, "W-Wait! Although I cannot guarantee any results, I will speak with the Sect Master and try to convince him, as I don't believe that he is willing to endanger the entire Sect even if it's for his cousin…"
In truth, Elder Wan didn't actually want to return to the Million Snakes Sect, as he felt that he no longer has any face left to meet with the Sect Master — especially after today's event that ended the life of thirty disciples and even the Sect Master's cousin, hence why he rather die than return.
That being said, if the entire Million Snakes Sect is at risk if he does not warn the Sect Master, Elder Wan is left with no other option other than to swallow his shame and return to the Sect to experience the Sect Master's wrath.
The voice coldly snorted, "You may scram."
Once Elder Wan heard those words, he scrambled out of the Profound Blossom Sect in such a manner that he tripped over nothing for many times before actually leaving the place.
Afterward, Xiao Rong used her ridiculous speed and disappeared from the scene before Liu Lanzhi could even notice her.
"T-Thank you for protecting this unworthy place, Senior!"
Liu Lanzhi kowtowed to the sky, but alas, the voice did not return.
A few minutes later, a hundred or so figures could be seen approaching Liu Lanzhi at a quick speed.
"Sect Master! Are you okay?!"
When Elder Zhao noticed Liu Lanzhi curled up on the floor, his initial thoughts were that she was hurt.
However, upon closer inspection, Elder Zhao realized that Liu Lanzhi was only kowtowing to the empty air.
Although it seemed a bit odd, Elder Zhao decided to ignore it and ask about the situation instead, "Where's the Million Snakes Sect?! And what was that incomprehensible aura that I felt just minutes ago?!"
Liu Lanzhi lifted her head and pointed at the puddle of blood that was only a few meters away and spoke, "That is what's left of the Million Snakes Sect."
"What did you just say?!?!"
Everybody there expressed great shock upon seeing the fresh blood on the ground.
What kind of cruelty happened here? There was not even a single limb in sight, and it looked like a crime scene after the dead bodies are moved away!
"I will explain everything later, but for now, we have to focus on calming down the disciples first," said Liu Lanzhi, who is completely unaware of the fact that nearly all of her disciples had abandoned the place after learning that they were being attacked by the Million Snakes Sect.
"About that…"
Elder Zhao wasn't exactly sure how to break the news to her without causing her too much sorrow — especially when they have just survived an attack from the Million Snakes Sect.
Liu Lanzhi frowned after seeing Elder Zhao's hesitant look and silence, and an ominous feeling appeared in her heart.
"Why aren't you speaking? Don't tell me — did something happen to the disciples?!"
Liu Lanzhi raised her voice, sounding a little bit panicked.
Seeing how Elder Zhao was unable to break the unfortunate news to her, Elder Sun stepped forward and said, "Although nothing happened to the disciples, I have some unfortunate news…"
Elder Sun proceeded to explain to Liu Lanzhi that the majority of the disciples have decided to leave the Profound Blossom Sect because of the situation, which filled Liu Lanzhi's heart with indescribable pain.
After all, every disciple was almost like a family member to Liu Lanzhi, and to see all of them abandon the place because they feared the Million Snakes Sect, she didn't know whether to laugh at her incompetence as the Sect Master or cry out of sorrow.
That being said, Liu Lanzhi did not blame the disciples for wanting to leave, as she understood their feelings of wanting to survive — especially when they were faced with a fate that was seemingly unavoidable besides to leave.
Meanwhile, when Xiao Bai, who had been hiding in a corner after escaping Elder Wan's restraint, saw Fang Zhelan amongst the group, she immediately ran at her while crying with joy.
"Xiao Bai!"
Fang Zhelan quickly noticed Xiao Bai running at her and went to hug her, and the sad expression that has been stuck on her face disappeared with ease.
"That's the Guardian Spirit?"
Elder Sun and the others looked at the Xiao Bai with mixed emotions in their eyes, as she is the reason that they are even in this situation now.
A few moments later, after Liu Lanzhi calmed down a bit, she looked at the remaining disciples and asked, "Is this all of the disciples left?"
"Unfortunately…"
Elder Zhao nodded.
Liu Lanzhi stared at the remaining disciples with an emotion gaze that was filled with gratitude.
"Thank you for remaining loyal to the Profound Blossom Sect despite the Million Snakes Sect's threat and my incompetence as the Sect Master for allowing any of this to happen…"
Liu Lanzhi then lowered her head to them, something none of the disciples there could image witnessing in their life.
After the disciples humbly accepted her apology, Liu Lanzhi suddenly realized that Su Yang was not amongst the disciples, and she sighed inwardly.
"So he also decided to leave, huh."
Although she did not want to admit it, Su Yang's departure has caused more pain in her heart than all of the other disciples combined.
"Anyway, let's talk in a more suitable place," she said to them after tossing any thoughts of Su Yang to the back of her mind and wiping the tears in her eyes.
Chapter 265 Are You Also Going to Leave This Place?
Liu Lanzhi and the remaining disciples gathered in one of the lecture halls.
"Before I speak, I will answer any questions that you may have for me."
Liu Lanzhi said with a serious expression.
Elder Zhao immediately raised his hands and spoke, "What the hell happened to the Million Snakes Sect? Is it related to the profound aura I sensed?"
Liu Lanzhi nodded.
"Although I don't know how I should explain this, let's just say that we had a temporary Patriarch after the previous Patriarch's sudden death, and he is someone with a deep background and immense power."
The people there looked at her with wide eyes. They had a temporary Patriarch and nobody knew of this until today? And where did she find this 'immensely' powerful individual?
"Where is this individual right now?"
Someone asked.
"Unfortunately, he had to leave."
"And he's the one who dealt the with Million Snakes Sect?"
Elder Sun asked, his voice filled with interest.
"That's right."
After a moment of silence, Elder Zhao spoke, "I can assume that he will also deal with the Million Snakes Sect if they were to return for revenge, right?"
Liu Lanzhi prepared to nod her head, but she hesitated at the last moment.
"I think so," she finally said with an uncertain tone.
The atmosphere turned gloomy again. If the Million Snakes Sect were to attack them again, it wouldn't be pretty at all. In fact, it was almost certain that the Million Snakes Sect will be prepared when they return.
All of the people in the lecture hall worried that the Million Snakes Sect might return with an entire army, and without this unknown expert's protection, they will only be overwhelmed.
"D-Don't worry! Senior is a very dependable individual! Before you guys had arrived, he's even warned the Million Snakes Sect that they will be eliminated by him if they ever return!"
Because Su Yang had spoken to them using Profound Qi, only the people within the area of effect were able to hear his voice, hence why Elder Zhao and the others didn't hear anything.
"A-And there's also that little girl…"
Liu Lanzhi felt a shiver down her spine when she recalled Xiao Rong's peerless appearance and overwhelming prowess.

The people there looked at her with a puzzled expression.
"That little girl… she was the one who actually eliminated the experts from the Million Snakes Sect, and it was all done in a mere instant. If I had to guess, she is an expert with a cultivation base that surpasses even the Heavenly Spirit Realm. In fact, somebody from the Million Snakes Sect had called her a 'Sovereign'!"
"Do you think this 'Senior' came from the legendary Holy Central Continent?"
Elder Zhao suddenly asked.
Seeing the disciples' puzzled expressions, Elder Zhao proceeded to explain, "The Holy Central Continent is said to be a holy land for Cultivators, where even Heavenly Spirit Realm experts are a common sight. Although not much is known about it, nor whether it truly exists, many experts are traveling around the world in hopes to find it."
Liu Lanzhi pondered with a serious expression. If this Senior really came from the Holy Central Continent, it would make sense why his existence felt so otherworldly!
"Anyway, we will only need to deal with the Million Snakes Sect if they dare to return after today's humiliating defeat, something I cannot see happening anytime soon. What we need to focus on right now is the future of the Profound Blossom Sect, as we cannot even be considered a proper Sect in our current state."
In fact, with only one hundred disciples, the Profound Blossom Sect cannot even compare to a medium-sized family right now.
"Our annual recruitment was planned for after the Regional Tournament, but as you can see, we are not in any condition to be participating in anything, much less the Regional Tournament."

Both Liu Lanzhi and Lan Liqing stood up simultaneously, clearly surprised by his sudden appearance.
Even Elder Zhao and Elder Sun were looking at him with wide eyes.
"Where have you been?" Lan Liqing asked him.
"Me? I was sleeping in my room until just a few minutes ago."
Su Yang responded with a carefree smile.
"Hmph! There's no need to lie, as we can imagine what a coward like you would do after hearing the name 'Million Snakes Sect'— just like everyone else!"
Elder Zhao quickly scoffed at him.
Su Yang merely shook his head and said, "If believing in that is going to help you sleep tonight, be my guest."
"You!!!"
Elder Zhao immediately fumed.
However, Liu Lanzhi quickly intervened and said, "Su Yang, I don't care where you've been, just answer me this… are you going to leave this place, too?"
Su Yang looked at Liu Lanzhi's serious expression and saw right through her unsettled emotions.
"Su Yang…" Lan Liqing also showed signs of worry on her face.
As for Elder Sun and Sun Jingjing, they silently stared at him.
Meanwhile, Fang Zhelan's gaze on Su Yang was completely different from everyone there. Because she has sensed his true cultivation base before, she noticed it within the powerful ripples during the Million Snakes Sect's invasion! In other words, she was the only one there who knew the truth!

When Liu Lanzhi and Lan Liqing heard his words, a smile appeared on their relieved faces.

Su Yang casually glanced at the hundred people in the room.
"This is all that's remained? It's much more than I'd expected."
Su Yang has seen many similar events before, and when facing an opponent they cannot imagine beating, it wouldn't be weird if only a few disciples are left before the battle even begins.
This holds true to even the biggest of sects out there with hundreds of thousands of disciples.
So for one hundred disciples to remain out of a few thousand, Su Yang was slightly impressed.
"Sect Master, I have a proposal."
He suddenly said.
"Let us hear it."
"The plan to host the recruitment after the Regional Tournament should remain… as should our participation."
"As much as I also want to participate, unfortunately for us, there are less than five individuals in this room that qualify to participate, and we need at least 10 qualified participants in order to even join." Liu Lanzhi sighed.
"What are the requirements, again?" Su Yang asked.
"One must be under the age of 30 and have reached the Profound Spirit Realm before they can be qualified. Additionally, the maximum amount of participants that each Sect can bring is 20 people."
Su Yang looked around the room again.
Beside himself, only Fang Zhelan, Sun Jingjing, and another Inner Court disciple there qualified for the Regional Tournament. Everybody else there are Outer Court disciples with an Elementary Spirit Realm cultivation base and sect elders that are above the age limit.
After looking through all of the Outer Court disciples, Su Yang suddenly asked, "Which one of you want to participate in the Reginal Tournament? Don't even think about not being qualified right now and raise your hands."
The Outer Court disciples exchanged glances with each other.
After some time, a few of them raised their hands.
Su Yang gave it another moment before saying, "Very well, I shall help you with that."
Liu Lanzhi looked at him with wide eyes.
"How are you going to achieve that?" she asked.
"How, you ask? By cultivating with them, of course."
Elder Zhao immediately burst out laughing.
"All seven of them are between the fourth and fifth level of the Elementary Spirit Realm. You are telling me that you can help all seven of them reach the Profound Spirit Realm before the Regional Tournament?"
"Of course."
Su Yang nodded with confidence.
"Hahahaha!"
Elder Zhao's laughing increased, and even Elder Sun couldn't help but chuckle.
However, neither Liu Lanzhi or Lan Liqing laughed. In fact, they both held a serious expression on their faces.
While Elder Zhao may not be aware, both Liu Lanzhi and Lan Liqing knew very well how rich Su Yang's Yang Qi is, as they have experienced it before — especially Lan Liqing.
In fact, Lan Liqing had managed to reach the Earth Spirit Realm with relative ease after cultivating with his Yang Qi!
Su Yang ignored Elder Zhao's laughing and turned to Liu Lanzhi.
"With this, we have 11 people who can participate in the Regional Tournament."
Liu Lanzhi was speechless, but she nodded.
"As for the recruitment after the Regional Tournament, you will understand once the time comes," said Su Yang.
Su Yang then returned to the Outer Court disciples and said, "I will be cultivating with you girls until the Regional Tournament. But of course, you have the option to refuse."
"Senior apprentice-brother, you have already cultivated with us before… why would we refuse now?"
One of the Outer Court disciples chuckled, feeling as though her choice to stay was indeed the correct once.
The other Outer Court disciples felt the same thing. Now that nearly all of the disciples are gone, the competition and line to cultivate with him greatly reduced.
"Um… Senior apprentice-brother… what about us?"
The disciples that did not raise their hands asked in a worried tone. What if he refuses to cultivate with them because they didn't want to participate in the tournament?
"Nothing has changed. I will accept you as long as you ask and my hands are free."
Su Yang was certain that he could help the seven Outer Court disciples achieve the Profound Spirit Realm within a week, so there was plenty of time for him to spare for the other disciples.
And coincidentally, besides a few of the sect elders, there were no male disciples. In other words, there won't be anyone complaining about a lack of partners for a while — at least until they get more male disciples.

Liu Lanzhi began giving instructions.

As the disciples left one by one, Fang Zhelan approached Su Yang and said, "Although I would like to continue with our plans right now, I need to take care of Xiao Bai — especially after what she's been through today. Next week... I will definitely see you then."
"Take your time." Su Yang nodded.
Chapter 267 Richest Sect in the Eastern Region
Once all of the disciples left, Liu Lanzhi bowed to the sect elders in the room and said, "Once again, I would like to apologize for my incompetence."
Elder Zhao shook his head and said, "You cannot be blamed for the greed of another. If anything, this is all the Million Snakes Sect fault."
"Elder Zhao is right, Sect Master. Don't blame yourself for any of this…"
"If you blame yourself, Sect Master, then I am also to blame, as I did not have the capability to protect the disciples in such times."
"You guys…" Liu Lanzhi almost teared up after hearing their words.
"Perhaps this situation is a blessing in disguise. Not did we experience the true cruelty of this world but we also survived it, and it will make all of us stronger. Although we have lost almost all of our disciples, we can always recruit more, albeit it'll take some time. Not to mention that we still have plenty of talented disciples left, and this includes all of you here."
Liu Lanzhi suddenly retrieved her storage ring and said, "This is my way of showing gratitude. Thank you for stay loyal even in times when it seemed like the end — thank you…"
After saying those words, Liu Lanzhi poured everything that was inside the storage ring onto the table before them.

Elder Zhao immediately realized that the treasures on the table were all Spiritual Treasures, but that only shocked him harder, as he has never seen so many Spiritual Treasure gathered in one small spot before.
"It was a gift from the same Senior who protected us from the Million Snakes Sect," she said.
"Anyway, you guys can go ahead and pick any one Spiritual Treasure and cultivation technique from this table. You may keep the Spiritual Treasures, but I will need the cultivation techniques back after you have remembered all of its contents, as it will be shared by all disciples."
The sect elders looked at Liu Lanzhi with wide eyes. They simply couldn't believe how generous she was being with these Spiritual Treasures.
However, once the sect elders picked up the cultivation scrolls and actually saw its content, their eyes nearly popped from shock.
"I-I-It's an Earth-grade cultivation technique!"
Elder Sun gasped when he realized what he was holding.
Earth-grade techniques are just below Heaven-grade techniques that only places like the Million Snakes Sect would have, and even then, they would not have more than one of two of them.
"This one is also an Earth-grade technique!"
Another sect elder gasped when she read its contents.
"There's more than one?!"
"I-I also have one!"
Another sect elder spoke.
Liu Lanzhi smiled upon seeing their excited reactions.
"There are exactly 8 Earth-grade, 15 Spirit-grade, and 27 Mortal-grade cultivation techniques in that pile!"
Liu Lanzhi revealed to them the real numbers.
"Eight Earth-grade?!"
Elder Zhao's jaw dropped to the ground upon hearing that number.
"That's not all."
Liu Lanzhi proceeded to speak in a bragging voice, "All of these are only from one out of a few storage rings!"
"This is unbelievable… with just this pile of treasures, we are as rich as places like the Million Snakes Sect! And if this is just one of many storage rings… I wouldn't be surprised if we are now the richest sect in the Eastern Region!"
Elder Zhao wiped the sweat that was appearing on his forehead just from thinking about their newfound wealth.
After many minutes of looking through the pile of treasures, all twenty sect elders in the room have picked their spiritual treasure and cultivation technique.
"Now that you all have chosen a cultivation technique, I want you to cultivate it and become a stronger force for the Profound Blossom Sect. And when the Million Snakes Sect returns, I want all of you to be able to protect the disciples properly!"
"Yes, Sect Master!"
After speaking with the sect elders for a few more minutes, Liu Lanzhi dismissed them, leaving herself alone in the lecture hall.
"I am finally alone, huh."
Liu Lanzhi sat down at a nearby chair, feeling extremely weak.
Although she appeared to be fine just moments ago, Liu Lanzhi was actually barely keeping herself from collapsing due to stress and exhaustion this entire time, as she did not want to worry her disciples any more than she already has.

After standing there for a few minutes, Su Yang silently left the place and returned to his own living quarters in the Outer Court, where Xiao Rong has been waiting for him.

Xiao Rong nodded and swallowed an Appearance Reforming Pill, changing from her peerless appearance to being just a normal-looking young girl.
A few minutes later, they both left the house and approached the Center Court to look for a new house.

While Su Yang and the other disciples looked around the Center Court for their new living quarters, the world outside of the Profound Blossom Sect began to learn of their situation.
And within just a few hours, the news of the Profound Blossom Sect losing all of its disciples has already spread all around the entire Eastern Region.

That being said, because of their high cultivation bases for their relatively young age, the places they wanted to join did not refuse them despite their status as traitors. In fact, they were even welcomed with open arms.

And while she wanted to head for the Profound Blossom Sect just like Wang Shuren, she knew that even if she went, there was nothing she could do for him, so she silently prayed for his safety.

A few days have passed since the news of the Profound Blossom Sect 'falling' has spread around the world, and by now, the entire Eastern Region has heard of it at least once. However, most people that heard this news were actually more interested in the Guardian Spirit and the Million Snakes Sect more than the Profound Blossom Sect's destruction.

Once the Burning Lotus Sect arrived at the Profound Blossom Sect, they were dumbfounded by the perfectly calm atmosphere there.
However, what surprised them the most would be the Profound Blossom Sect itself, as the place did not look like it had been attacked at all.

Once they reached the entrance and noticed its damaged state, they no longer doubted that something indeed had happened to this place.

After they entered the Profound Blossom Sect and stepped into the Outer Court, they immediately noticed a large amount of dry blood splattered all over the place. Just like the entrance door, nobody bothered to clean it up, or perhaps the Profound Blossom Sect wanted to use this scene as a warning for others.

Wang Shuren covered her mouth in shock, as did a few other people there.
"Well, one thing for sure is that many people have died here, and it was a massacre at that."
Great Elder Han sighed. He couldn't imagine such cruelty happening to the Burning Lotus Sect.
"However, this is odd. Besides this spot here, the rest of the place is spotless."
One of them suddenly pointed out.
"It's almost like an execution had occurred here…"
The Burning Lotus Sect trembled in fear upon imagining the scene of an execution.
Additionally, they immediately assumed that the blood in this place belonged to the people of the Profound Blossom Sect, as they couldn't even imagine the Million Snakes Sect being massacred here.
After standing around for a few more minutes, Wang Shuren proceeded to walk deeper into the Sect.
Once they passed through the entire Outer Court without meeting even a single disciple, the Burning Lotus Sect realized that this place has indeed been abandoned.

Since there was nothing to see at the Inner Court, Wang Shuren and the group proceeded to approach the Center Court.
However, right as they saw the entrance, they were halted by a loud voice.
"Halt! Who goes there?! State your business with the Profound Blossom Sect!"
A figure appeared from the Center Court and stood before the Burning Lotus Sect.
"We are from the Burning Lotus Sect, and I came here to inquire about a certain individual."
Wang Shuren stepped forward and said to the sect elder that stopped them.
"The Burning Lotus Sect?"
The sect elder finally noticed their bright red robes and nodded.
"Who are you looking for?"
"It's a disciple named Su Yang…" Wang Shuren said.
"Su Yang?"
Great Elder Han looked at Wang Shuren with disbelief in his eyes. They came all the way over here despite the potential danger just for that bastard who nearly flipped their entire Burning Lotus Sect upside-down?!
Not just Great Elder Han but the other people there also looked at Wang Shuren with wide eyes. Liu Lanzhi nodded and brought them inside the Center Court. A few moments later, all twenty experts from the Burning Lotus Sect sat inside a large room that seemed to be meant for meetings.
Once they all sat down, Liu Lanzhi used a communication jade slip to notify Su Yang about Wang Shuren's visit.
"I have notified Su Yang, and the tea will be here shortly," said Liu Lanzhi.
"In the meantime, if you don't mind, can I ask why the Burning Lotus Sect is looking for Su Yang?"
Although Liu Lanzhi couldn't sense any hostility from them, she couldn't imagine why they would want to see him.
Wang Shuren waved her hand and said, "The Burning Lotus Sect has nothing to do with my visit here today. These people are only escorting me for safety purposes, and I am here on my own accord."
"If you don't mind me asking, what is the relationship between you and Su Yang?"
Wang Shuren pondered for a moment before saying, "We did some business before, I guess?"
Liu Lanzhi became even more confused after hearing such words.

Liu Lanzhi looked at her with a puzzled expression, clearly confused by her question.
"After hearing about the Million Snakes Sect and what happened here…"
Liu Lanzhi immediately understood the situation after hearing about the Million Snakes Sect.
"Su Yang is perfectly fine. In fact, he's the most composed out of all of us right now." Liu Lanzhi sighed, feeling ashamed that a disciple is actually more calm than herself when in such dire situations.
"That's relieving…" Wang Shuren smiled.
Suddenly, another voice resounded.
"If you don't mind me butting in here, can I ask you about the Million Snakes Sect? Where are they now?"
Great Elder Han suddenly spoke. He was simply way too curious about the situation to not ask.
Liu Lanzhi did not immediately answer and pondered whether or not she should reveal the truth to them.
After some thinking, Liu Lanzhi decided to tell him the truth, as there was no point in hiding something that will sooner or later be revealed. Additionally, she could use this chance to let the world know that there's an incredibly powerful individual backing the Profound Blossom Sect, using his presence as a warning for those that wish to harm them.
"All of the people from the Million Snakes Sect were killed."
Liu Lanzhi spoke calmly as she sips on the tea that has just arrived.
"What did you just say?!"
Not just Great Elder Han but everybody there exclaimed loudly, their expressions filled with shock and disbelief.
"I know it's hard to believe, but you should've seen the blood by the entrance. Every drop of blood there belongs to the Million Snakes Sect."
"Impossible…"
Once the Burning Lotus Sect learned of the truth, they couldn't even sit back down on their chairs due to the shock.
Who could've imagined that the blood by the entrance belonged to the Million Snakes Sect and not the Profound Blossom Sect? Nobody!
Great Elder Han stared at Liu Lanzhi with doubtful eyes, doubting the words that had just come out of her mouth.
While he is not too familiar with the Profound Blossom Sect, he is certain that it cannot compare the Million Snakes Sect and its colossal power.

Liu Lanzhi guessed what Great Elder Han wanted to ask and spoke, "To tell you the truth, the Profound Blossom Sect did not touch the Million Snakes Sect. "What do you mean by that?" Great Elder Han asked with a confused frown on his face.

Great Elder Han refused to believe that there was such an incredible individual in this world yet nobody has heard of him.

"I cannot tell you that, as this individual has asked me to respect his privacy."
Liu Lanzhi shook her head and made up an excuse on the spot, easily fooling Great Elder Han and the others.
Great Elder Han narrowed his eyes and wondered, "Could the concealment array surrounding this place also be related to this mysterious expert?"

Wang Shuren didn't know how to respond afterward, as she isn't used to such conversations.
Suddenly, the sound of a door opening resounded, causing everybody there to look towards the door.
"Su Yang!"
Wang Shuren's eyes flickered with delight after seeing Su Yang's handsome face, feeling relieved that he was truly alive.
Su Yang glanced at the Burning Lotus Sect as he walked inside and spoke in a joking tone, "What's this? Are you here to take revenge for what happened that day?"
Great Elder Han tightened his jaws after seeing Su Yang's face and hearing his voice, as his fear for Su Yang still remained.
As for the other experts from the Burning Lotus Sect, they were visibly trembling from seeing Su Yang.
Liu Lanzhi looked at the situation with a puzzled frown. What on earth is this situation?
Su Yang ignored all of the gazes and sat down right before Wang Shuren.
"You wanted to speak with me, right?"
He stared at her face.
"Well… sort of…"
In truth, Wang Shuren didn't know what to say. She only came here because she was worried about their situation with the Million Snakes Sect, and knowing Su Yang, he would most definitely be at the front trying to protect his own place.
But now that she finally learns of what happened with the Million Snakes Sect, even seeing Su Yang in person, she has fulfilled her reason for being here.
