Quinn complete Decayed World XI, highly detailed post-apocalyptic survival game that ain't mainly revolves around the player's created character but the group and society they make, unless they do everything by themselves, then it would indeed be all about them. As technology continue to advance and game development improved, the developers are able to add a lot more features within a single setting. Each Decayed World from the I to XI showed the improvements the developers have gone through for the game.
Now, Developers have created Decayed World Online, the accumulation of the experience and technology provided for the Series. Additionally, set within virtual reality, in the cooperation of one of the greatest VR Game Company, Night Stars. Compared to other companies, Night Stars has the greatest reputation for providing player experience and unaffected of the external problem or demands. Their games are all ran by a powerful Mother A.I. to continually grow and evolve the games they monitor.
Quinn already purchased one of their premium capsules that can provide immense immersion. While it is nice playing VR, players are less unused to or not accustomed to not playing female characters. But Quinn doesn't really mind, doesn't really care about gender and feels nothing about the female and male gender. Just he tends to lean towards female characters in games.
Going outside to one of the game stores nearby, he finds a small line of people ready and asking them the reason for them lining up would be the Decayed World Online physical copy access. Quinn enters the line and waited his turn to purchase the game before returning home, inserting the cartridge and entering the pod, visiting the virtual space.
[ "Welcome Player Quinn" ]

Confirming it, it goes through the downloading, installation, verification and all.

[ "The Game has yet to be released but Character Customization is available, do you wish go there?" ] "Yes."
The virtual space gets filled up with grass, trees, the sky, clouds, and sun. A mirror appears before him to show his reflection. Holographic windows appear on the side for various options and sliders. Switching to female transformed himself in a female version. Quinn moved around to try out the female physique and finds the boob slider. Just for fun, she pushed it all the way and almost fell forward due to the weight.
Readjusting himself and repositioning his posture to properly lift the weight of the breasts. Contemplating on the size, weight, appearance, the pros and cons, and any possible problems that may come if he left it like this....
He would soon come to the conclusion after making other physical changes, such as his height, weight, and all. Getting taller and having more meat/muscles helped with the weight significantly and rebalanced himself. Due to his size from before that he couldn't effectively carry them without much problems.
Looking at his new appearance, she is much taller than him, with her large chest, she as a bubbly butt, well-sized thighs and a waist with curves that fit their sizes or shape. He left his light tan skin alone, but did clean it up to make it more smooth and clean looking. Made his light brown eyes to dark brown eyes, brown hair to black hair. There isn't any ponytails as it require a hair tie, so he left it at long straight hair.
Now setting up the character's stats, there is Strength, Constitution, Dexterity, Intelligence, Charisma, and Luck, they're set at 10 as default, having 10 additional points to distribute.
Looking at what they provide, Strength provides melee bonus damage, carry weight, physical prowess(Ex: Pushing).
Constitution influences Health, Stamina, Endurance, Tenacity, Immunity, and Resistance. Dexterity revolves around crafting, Handling, Finesse, and Flexibility. Intelligence affects Learning Speed, Comprehension, and Understanding.
Charisma is the Persuasion, Speech, Appearance, and overall Charm, useful when trying to create a large and powerful community and have higher or lower chances of getting a strong NPC to join.
Luck is pretty new in the game, but it affects Drop Rates' Quantity and Quality, and the Chances of Success in Crafting or Lockpicking. As players no longer can control the Drop Rate in the game world.
[ Player's Attributes ]
Strength: 10
Constitution: 10
Dexterity: 10
Intelligence: 10
Charisma: 10
Luck: 10
Attribute Points: 10
While things may be different from the other Decayed World Games, he's gonna stick with his usual strategy....
[ Player's Attributes ]
Strength: 5
Constitution: 5
Dexterity: 5
Intelligence: 5
Charisma: 20
Luck: 30
Attribute Points: 0
The Min-Max Build, there is a strategy with this build is that Strength, Constitution, Dexterity, and Intelligence are easy to grow as they got Attribute Books, a lot of it and there are certain Self-Training Strategy to increase the attributes. Whenever these Attributes are low, they are easy to grow, and as they grow, it becomes harder. Charisma and most likely Luck are hard to raise.
From experience, Charisma is the hardest to grow as it not only has a low amount of Attribute Books available for it, it requires a lot of talking and interaction with people to grow it. It grow quite slow since it is in the Post-Apocalypse, hard to find people, and even more so if they were friendly enough to talk with.
Luck is probably similar, or even worse as its range of influence cannot be easily touched unless having constant success. Not much to say about, other than it being incredibly high, along with Charisma would be more beneficial on the long run. It is incredibly bad in the start, but do know that there are 3 Lives a player would have in Decayed World Online and after that, penalties would be received, which ranges from a minor few hours suspension to full on character deletion and progress lost, these penalties depends on the amount of damage taken and situation in. If the character died in full-obliteration, then it is a full lost. But, the players can use their lives to deny any penalty and come back quickly without any penalty, it is a choice to do, if they don't and allow their character for full deletion, then they get to keep their remaining lives, take the time penalty and have a full restart.
As a experienced Decayed World Player, he can play the game without much deaths and maybe go up into the leaderboard of best players.
Now for the last part, the Skills, there is a lot of skills and players can get them all, but right now, choose which to learn and improve. It has multiple stages in mastery, Amateur, Beginner, Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert, Professional, and Master. Currently they're all in Amateur and 20 points to use to level up the stages or give experience to.
Quinn used 14 points to make Electrical and Engineering to Basic. 6 points into Hacking and Automechanics to be Beginner. Technology Skills are hard to start on and level, requires a non-amateur starting stage to gain experience easily, as Amateur Stage for Technology provides absolutely nothing to help provide a way to gain experience for it. Technology Books are pretty rare to obtain.
With nothing else, he put in his real name for his Character Name before going in.

Quinn finds himself, or herself in a random location, specifically in a forest. Wearing white underwear and bra. She finds the situation beneficial as there are less threats and more focus on Strength and Constitution training.
Despite the game being detailed, it gives a whole game-like experience. Such picking up two pieces of rocks, opening the crafting menu for Rock Knife. Goes through a mini-game and due to less Strength and Dexterity, there were frequent fails leading to Terrible-Quality Rock Knife with really low durability.
She uses it to cut down a skinny tree to obtain 3 Long Sticks which is the Skinny Tree cut into 3 pieces. Then used the knife to cut down a bush to collect leaves, twigs, and small sticks. Using the small sticks to create Bark Rope and twigs into Twig Rope to further make a Stone Axe. Collecting more rocks to create a Stone Axe Head and combine the rope, head and long stick into the Two-Handed Version Stone Axe. Provides more Strength Growth Rate than the normal one-handed Stone Axe.
With the stone axe, she cutdown more skinny trees, showing "+0.01 Strength" but not appearing on the status board.
Turning the sticks into a bundle to carry and wander the forest to find a good place to take residence.
Her strength and constitution slowly grew, sooner or later finding a pile of rocks hiding a small pocket of space underneath. Nothing is occupying inside so she dogged the leaves and dirt out to create more space. Using a the long sticks to cover the floor and sides, having a few to support the Boulder from fall. Outside, used the dirt and leaves, with the sticks and rope to make a hatch door and camouflage the spot.
Made a Primitive Bow and Arrows, practiced Archery before going out as it is him shooting the arrows.
Carefully walking through the forest to hopefully find a Boar or Deer, rabbits are fine too, but they only provide small hide, Boars drop medium hide that he can only use one to create a Improvised Small Backpack. It takes 5 small hides to create a Improvised Small Backpack. There is a even smaller one called a Improvised Bag and it requires either 3 Rags or 3 Small Hides with any 5 rope/thread material. Rags can be obtained through scrapping any clothing, even underwear.
Other than Boars, there are Wolves, and Bears which she did not wish to encounter. Wolves always come in packs and Bears are incredibly durable, especially so for players without guns.
Soon, Quinn finds a Deer eating grass, taking aim, concentrating before letting the arrow fly before the Strength Attribute comes in and makes him fail. Though the arrow flew to hit the Deer's body and scaring it. Chasing it, they through a long distance, Quinn carefully loaded another arrow into the Deer, granting a 50% chances of tripping, which it did. Breathing heavily, Quinn quickly fired another arrow but to the head, killing it.
Taking out the Rock Knife, Quinn goes through another mini-game about Skinning and Dismantling the corpse. It drops the Medium Hide, 2 Antlers, 4 legs, head, and body, Quinn has to go through the mini-games again to separate further dismantle or separate the meat. But at the moment, Quinn gathers materials from around and combines them with Medium hide to make a Improvised Small Backpack. Unlike the other Decayed World Games, in this one, there is no Inventory Function, must use whatever can be done to carry items. The meat is still bloody, so when Quinn placed it in the backpack, it gained the status of being Bloody due to the meat still dripping blood.
Bringing it back to her hideout, made a Drying Rack, Campfire, and Leaf Tent to fool anyone coming by. When the blood have all flowed out, Quinn cuts it up to cook it. The campfire was started with a Primitive Firestarter and Tinder that required Dexterity or Chance to get a fire started. Due to her high luck, it only took a few tries.
As it slowly cooks the Raw Meat Skewers, Quinn starts working on his Fitness Skill and Strength Attribute. Even carry a bunch of rocks to further improve the growth and experience rate. Thankfully she has a lot of time as 1 hour outside equals to 10 hours in-game. Physical learning and practice are good and efficient at 1 to 15 Attribute Points, less efficient but at least good up to 20 points, any further is just a waste of time. Amateur to Beginner are efficient and good, for skills that don't require specific things like Sprinting and Fitness, things to drop up to Basic and further on is a waste, more efficient in reading Skill Books or in action.
Took a few in-game days to quick grow Strength to 8 points and Fitness half-way to Beginner. Took a break to fill the stomach and exercise the body before going back in.
With the newfound strength, went out hunting with a spear, bow, arrows, and a stick shield that can only block most of animal attacks. Within a day of hunting, finding only Rabbits, Squirrels(That are newly added into the series), Deers, and Boars. There were wolves, but Quinn quickly avoided them quietly, best to face them with proper equipment or with a gun.
Quinn goes to the river to clean herself and the bag from the blood. It takes awhile but items and areas with the Bloody on them will slowly attract wolves in the area but with Drying Racks, meat dripping blood will not seemingly attract wolves.
After drinking from the river to satiate thirst, Quinn returns to the hideout to continue training and through the forms, some adventurous players managed to make something outside the Crafting Menu. Trying it out, Quinn made various Weight Training Tools with Rocks, Rope, and Sticks. It gave growth to Intelligence, inspiring Quinn to try do things out of the box.
Quickly going back to training and thanks to the training tools, progression went much quicker.
With 10 points in Strength, Quinn went onto full renovation. Chopping down large trees for logs, stripping off the bark for Bark Rope and using the wood to make planks. Using one of the planks to carve into a shovel head, putting some holes into it so she can use wooden pegs to nail it with a stick and adding more pieces of wood to make it harder to fall apart.
First pushing the rocks away as they already have quite a hole. Digging deeper into the into a rectangular shape. Making holes at the ends and center so she can push in large logs into them to create a foundation for a house she would make. This little hideout would be where she will rest and later on as storage space.
With the logs in, she chipped the large rocks into plates and brought mud so the rocks would stick to the floor and together, along with stacking rocks along the wall. Filling up the outside with dirt and then stopping for things to dry up. Going out to chop more trees and collect more materials.
.
.
.
The next in-game day, Quinn puts down a frame over the place, nailed it down with pegs and fitting slots so Quinn can use the planks to cover it up. Left a open square hole for a door hatch, and when that is done, She covered any gaps with mud and dirt, furthermore, leveled the area to place down mud and stone plates. Using the Crafting System's Plank Wall, Pillars, Floor, and the such into making the house, it would even connect and fix up the basement's roof into something that would be a proper floor/roof with a hatch.
Using the remaining Rocks, Logs, Planks, Ropes, Mud, Leaves, and a few more to create a fence, shelves and a bed with the medium hides. Used the small hides to make a Animal Hide Quiver.
Night was coming so Quinn went to sleep and logged out to wait it out.
When it is day, Quinn opened the map, she's located in the around middle west side of the continent. Unlike the Decayed World Series where players begin in different and a few similar maps, Decayed World Online has all of them. Quinn is on Astacar, where Decayed World VIII started at and introduced. Unlike other continents, this continent is the most rural and country side continent ever, no tall buildings or large cities, just towns, villages, and small cities with rural vibes.
Close to Quinn is a town on the southern side, there she can find clothes, tools, ingredients and other things. Preparing a Stone Spear, Bow, a Quiver filled with Arrows, and a empty backpack.
Setting out, it was a long journey, encountering pack of wolves and a bear, running from them and only losing them by chance.
With the town before her, she carefully sneaks in as there are Mutated Humans, transformed by the Mutant Virus that mutates any living creature. Currently, it is at the calm before the storm, the Mutant Virus has yet to affect everything and mostly Humans were affected. Due to the Mutant Virus is quite less concentrated in most of the Mutated Humans, it most strengthened their muscle and durability. The only reason why most Mutated Humans are unintelligent and crazy is due to their Weak Immunity and Willpower.
Those that resisted and kept their mind intact are called Awakeners and Players that become awakeners unlock a Attribute Tree according to the Attribute Specialization. Players don't choose their Attribute Specialization, it is their highest Attribute, but if there are two or more attributes that are high and on the same level then players can choose which to Specialize.
From what Quinn learned in previous games, Strength is the path of Fighters and Warriors, Constitution is for players who want to take a lot of damage and resist any Disease or Viruses. Dexterity is for Craftsmen, Builders, Runners, or Weapon Masters. Charisma is the Path of Leadership and Command, while Intelligence can either be incredible learning speed or unlocking Psionic Powers. Luck is something new but probably worth exploring.
But Quinn needs to prepare before Awakening as players can die from Awakening. For preparation, Quinn needs to loot the town which seems to yet be looted by players from how much Mutated Humans are around.
Sneaking into a house through the open window, inside she stealth takedowns the sleeping Mutated Humans. While their are more durable, they still can instantly die if their Head, Brain, or Heart is pierced or removed. Remember, they're incurable crazy, self-unaware, and unintelligent strengthened living humans, not undead or moving corpses. Though their skin is grey, glowing purple veins all over, and pure white eyes. The Mutant Virus is blue, with the combination red blood created its purple aesthetics.
Looting the body took some time before the body and items separated to the sides. Quinn recieves a Red Button Shirt, Jeans, White Sneakers, Mobile Phone, 10 Credit Cash x5, and 1 Credit Cash x6. The amount surprised her, the amount of items here is quite a lot, they don't drop this much, especially with the amount of money given to her. But looking at the clothing, they're seemingly normal from being dropped by them.

The phone can be scrapped for electronics or repurposed for whatever use. Looted other bodies, finding more useable clothing and they would automatically fit her size and gender. She searched the Wardrobes, Cabinets, Drawers, Refrigerator, Shelves, Boxes, and more. Picked up so much in such a normal place.
Thread Rolls, Lockpicks, Bobby-pins, Mobile Phones, Carrema 2140, 9mm bullets x10, Red Checkered Button Shirt, Black Short Shorts, 12ga Buckshot x5, 12ga Birdshot x15, White Shirt, Dark Blue Beanie, Nail Bolts x5, Kitchen Knife x2, Mechanical Watch, Bandages x5, Canned Mushroom Soup, Canned Beef Stew, Canned Tomatoes, Box of Cereals, Jar of Pickles, and Banana.
Quinn is heavily stunned about the amount of loot she obtained. Picking up the Carrema 2140 that had no magazine and bullet loaded. The gun is referenced from Colt M1911 and Beretta 92, using a .45 Auto or ACP, but it is named .45 Auto as there is no Colt Pistol or anything, developers don't want to bring everything into the world and make it absolutely identical, just similar.
Going around the town, she is just finding more and more loot, even found a barely functional car, it just need a few replacements, the battery charged, and some fuel up the tank with anything left in the town. Found a few backpacks carry more loot to the car.
Within a few hours of looting and cleaning out the Mutated Humans, Quinn starts up the car and drives into the forestry carefully, and chop down trees or bushes to safely go through.
Home, Quinn first takes out a Mini-Fridge and Electric Mini-Generator to quickly store any food inside, slowing down their expiration. Afterwards, took out a Woodcutter's Axe to quickly expand and put up defenses. Cleared a large space for any future expansion or vehicles, surrounded them manually placing a wall of Logs, reinforced with Mud mixed with Thatch. A large system-built metal gate, and on the outside stacked rocks with Thatch Mud but at a low height to help protect against people, animals or anything from ramming into the wall to break it. Built another wall but through the Crafting Menu from the inside along the log wall, the Wooden Wall with automatic spikes on top, along side that placed Palisade and Spikes along the walls outside securing it into the dirt.
Built two System-built Wooden Towers to attack over the walls. Turned the small wooden house into a 3 story house, and it costed a lot of wood and time. Took 5 in-game days and surprisingly made his Skills and Attributes grow a lot faster, there was even critical growths that multiplied the growth speed for a instant moment, due to her luck, it was quite frequent small critical boosts.

Organizing her items, wears some of the low durability clothes, bow, quiver full of wooden and bone arrows, kitchen knife, and 3 disinfected rags as bandages. She drives the car back to the town to see it restocked with loot and mutated humans.
Parking in a distance, Quinn sneaks into the town and finds a lot of great loot, such as Skill Books and Attribute Books that she'll keep in storage until the time is right. She went in for a few trips as she is taking appliances and furniture for her home.
Due to having enough materials, she is able to make a Smithy and Dismantling Table. Using them to break down scraps, clothing, appliances and more into base materials. She sadly unable to make a Automechanic Workstation due to not having enough and certain materials.
With her low Forging Skills, she can only safely make simple weapon before trying any intricate or complicated items or materials. Crafted a iron spear, shovel, axe, and pickaxe.
The project Quinn is gonna commit to next is building a underground house. Going outside the wall and dig deep into the ground that lasted a few weeks as it is a large empty space. Using the Crafting Menu to lay out walls of stone, wooden floors, and pillars. Used mud and dirt to flatten out the floor before started building. As the walls grow higher, she filled up the gaps with dirt and gravel. The entrance is already dugged out from inside the wall leading down to the place. She'll put a lid on the place with wooden platform and then covered in dirt and grass.
When everything is done, her stats and skills have grown and it would time for another loot run. This time, other than the town, she'll go for other places such as a Military Bunker, Underground Facility, and Storage Warehouses.
In doing so, she gathered so much equipments and even encountered a NPC. With her 20 Charisma, she is able to easily recruit the NPC who is of the Ordinary Rarity. The Rarity shows the importance of them in the game world, their capabilities, and potential. From Lowest to Highest, it is simply: Ordinary, Unique, and Hero. As for the recruited NPC's capabilities.

Ashe talked about Hunting Cabin that her father built in the forest, it may contain equipment and resources for them. Looking at the map for where it is and it is quite close, in a direction she has to go to. Quinn tells her to stay at the base to go on the journey by herself, and at the cabin, she finds a Hunting Rifle, that is its name, referenced from Kar98, Enfield, Mosin, and G98 Mauser. There are Boxes of 7.92x57mm to come along with it, a few intact clothing, a working mobile generator and a bunch of canned food.
Returning home, Quinn spent the time interacting with Ashe, getting the relationship up and getting the rewards from completing her quests.

It is time for the Awakening, Quinn brings a lot of syringes on a trip to the town. Using them to extract blood from mutated humans' heart where there is a tiny nucleus of the Mutant Virus. Extracting their Essence into the syringes and if there are more space in the syringes then fill it with the blood. After filling up all the syringes and taking all the loot, Quinn returns to start boiling the Essence and Blood. Mixed it with a few compounds and ingredients, before boiling it to the point of producing vapor and recondensing into bottle of pure alcohol. The alcohol would soon turn green and with what remain, she puts them into syringes. The green liquid is a Mutant Virus Neutralizer, stops its' infection and kills it, usually used to stop people from Awakening if they were to ever possibly fail.
The condensed gelatinous dark purple liquid in the syringes are the Awakening Serum. Injecting it into neck, then arms, then thighs, and lastly into the heart. A painful process, but in the end she succeeds, becoming a Luck-Based Awakener.
Looking at the stats, her Luck went from 30 to 35. Unlocking the Level System and Attribute Tree, she is stunned by what the Luck Attribute Tree has, it is all Chance Increases on nearly everything, from Loot Quantity and Quality, to higher chances of success of doing anything.
Wanting to quickly capitalize them, Quinn brought Ashe to come along looting sites, kill Mutated Humans and even find more people to grow the community.
Doing her travels, she met with another player who wasn't quite friendly and had to be put down. He had quite the loot on him and Ashe didn't say much about it. They would find another car, a CUV, Ashe drove that car while Quinn drove the other, filling up their cars with loot finding a NPC Duo. They're twin Boy and Girl, around 17 years old, bringing them in after recruiting them. The twins both have the Hunter Occupation and their background is that they are from a Family of Hunters, learning hunting from their Father.
Quinn continues on going out, finding more and more NPCs and Players, there was one NPC group encounter that were hostile, due to them being Bandit Bikers. Quinn's group taken some damage, but due to them mostly driving their bike than shooting, it was pretty easy attacking them without much worry. Quinn brought those bikes back along with other NPCs who were friendly, recruited and helped out.
Progression is quick with a larger community, thanks to her high Luck, she's getting a lot of loot. Using them to transform and expand the base, thankfully with a NPC with Laborer Occupation and Loyal Level Relationship, made everyone more efficient in construction. Turning a Fortified Home into a Fortified Semi-Fortress Village. Homes or Residency are in a Large Apartment building, various facilities made for each type of work, such as a Automechanic's Garage, Farm, Gunsmithy, Laboratory, and more.
