Chapter 9 - Storcaria: Becoming my Own Character (Part 1)

Hello! It'sa me, ZeroNemeziz, I won't be around looking at comments and all anytime soon, so sorry if anyone is expecting me to reply to any of them. I'm currently busy with college, writing dozens of stories, etc.

This one is another almost fully developed story that I'm working on, and might be another that'll go on hiatus, but right now, it wouldn't be. I hope you guys and gals enjoy it!

------------------------------------

Oboron Yggrean, a classic gamer whose addicted to games and earns money through the gameplays he made public. He also made his own iconic mascot of his channel, it was a female character with long pink hair, cold expression, sakura pattern pupils, and having a bombshell body figure. Oboron named her Zakurez, he would try to recreate her in most games he played, and whenever they're unable to provide a large character creation, he would try to recreate her alternate appearances, which would be a somewhat normalized appearance of Zakurez, turn her pink to black and her pupil is normal. While her male form was that of a semi handsome and cool look that he could make up.

Oboron played all sorts of games, from old to new, low graphics to high ones, and plenty more. Currently, he is about to be finished with an old game that was a few hundred years old, he finished the other franchises and gonna be finishing the last game. Even though it's a franchise, it is also a series. It has 5 series within the franchise. The game is first set off as a story driven survival crafting game, the plot itself was slow, but at the same time, it can be boosted with what the player does.

In the first series, Oberon plays as Zakurez, and this game is on a virtual reality console, so he would be playing as a female, but he didn't mind, as he has long gotten used to having a female virtual body. As Zakurez, she slowly builds up the game's lore, and civilization, and surprisingly, the developers had given players the option to connect the progress of their characters in the pre sequel games into the part of the series or franchise.

In the first series, Zakurez built up the lore and civilization within the game and had made many legends about herself. Now, as long Oboron connects his progression with any of the other games, he'll gain bonuses in not just extra stuff, but also lore, more diverse gameplay that other's wouldn't have, as they didn't play the games in order and have done so much in them.

In the next series, the 2nd one, Oboron is now told his past era, or series have been long gone and destroyed. In that era's place, a new one arose and a bunch of kingdoms, empires, organizations, and many more have appeared all over that'll become a challenge to him. Within this series, it has become a medieval fantasy game that he can explore than just go survival crafting. In this series, Zakurez went through up and downs, and sometimes, it's quite literally, as it's also rated 20+ due to its sexual contents that players can participate in or be forced in. The next few games are kingdom-building focused, or life stimulation in the game.

For the 3rd Series, the 2nd era has gone to hell and this era is full of horror, mana concentration in the game's world has dropped, or in a player's words, Magic-Users are super rare and at most, Magic Scrolls and Tomes is the only way to use magic. In each game in this series, Zakurez is fighting for her life, struggles in surviving that feels like it is set in the hellish difficulty. Zakurez has died countless times as medicines are also rare and power differences are pretty high and small, depending on situations, as enemies can perform better out of nowhere and beat her.

In the 4th series, the dark era has passed, and the great evil overlord is dead and civilization can once again rise. Due to the loss of mana, races have turned to physical training, science, and technology. In this era, Zakurez gains experience in with the steampunk-like technology that has gone past than it should've performed in the real world. Most of the games in this series didn't have open worlds and are mostly story-driven and accomplishing a series of objectives to defeat the bad guy and all.

In the 5th series, technology has risen to new great heights, and some of the games are open-world solo, story-driven, and there are a few that are online. Oboron is in the online game and soon kills the last final boss, completed all the bosses in the game's story, and expansions.

Oboron leaves the game, publishing the video after a few fun editing, and then rests against the VR-Gaming Capsule's cushions.

Just as he was about to take a nap, he heard a notification on his phone, and for it to sound out, it should be important, as he pretty much whitelisted a few things to ring. Opening it up, he was given a survey, by the company that created the games that he just finished. What it asks gave it a strange look by Oboron, it was asking if he was willing to experience the game for real as if he was the real world. From Yes/Sure, No/Nah, Idk, Oboron picked out Yes/Sure. From there it started to ask if he wants to become his own character, and Oboron accepts it, then after a few more questions answered.

Oboron suddenly felt a sudden stop in his bodily function, his heart stopped beating, his body felt cold, he was unable to think, and Oboron would just fall dead on the couch.

...

Oboron soon regains consciousness, but something wasn't right. He felt his chest was heavier, his clothes are lighter, and overall, his body feels unfamiliar. He looks around to see an unfamiliar, but familiar environment, Oboron sees a lake nearby and picks himself up, running over to see the reflection of himself.

There, he was stunned and speechless, Oboron is now Zakurez. She inspects her body and sees every trait that he made for Zakurez in the Storcaria Franchise is now implemented onto her. She then tries to bring up her Status Board, and with a thought, it pops up.

[ Zakurez ] [ Beastkin ] [ Level 0 ]

[ Main Class: None ] [ Secondary Class: ]

[ Subclasses: None ]

[ Occupation: None ]

[ Health: 110 ]

[ Aether: 110 ]

[ Attack: 1 ] [ Magic Attack: 1 ]

[ Defense: 1 ] [ Magic Defense: 1 ]

[ Strength: 1 ] [ Vitality: 1 ] [ Endurance: 1 ]

[ Stamina: 1 ] [ Speed: 1 ] [ Evasion: 1 ]

[ Magic: 1 ] [ Mana: 1 ] [ Mind: 1 ]

[ Perception: 0 ] [ Luck: 0 ] [ Charm: 0 ]

[ Resistances: None ]

[ Talents: None ]

[ Skills: None ]

Looking at this, all she could think of is Storcaria's first game's starting stats. From what she knows, the leveling is much harder than any other game, and that is due to the sadistic tendency of the developers who really wanted to make the game difficult and challenging. Main Classes would be unlocked after getting to Level 10, and whatever the player achieved, various classes would be unlocked and be pickable, but after picking the class, it'll be locked. As this game is now becoming her real life with how realistic and life-threatening feeling it gives off, she needs to be careful on what she does.

From her experience and needs, to make sure she would become strong tremendously and have powerful survivability, she would have to try to get that class, The Guardian Brawler Class. To get that class, she has to have fight up close with her fist and take hits, but at the same dodge some attacks that cannot be handled.

Zakurez checks out the other things she could bring out, but could only bring up her Status Board, Inventory, Mastery List, and The Mini-Map, everything else is pretty much non-existent. In her inventory, there was a message, red and green present box.

Taking out the letter, she read it out, "Hello, Oboron, or should I say Zakurez? Well, whatever you're called now, we have brought you into a world that we, the gods, have created, it's a bit of a newborn, so there would be some deviance, but that is how it is when creating new worlds, especially when we have combined all the aspects of every game of the Storcaria Franchise. So, whatever your planning, you should rethink it as there new things out there, something that so new that you didn't think would've existed in Storcaria." Zakurez stares at this letter creepily, her hands were trying to pull the letter apart, but she incapable of doing so.

Taking a deep breath, she continues reading, "We've brought you gifts that will assist you in your journey! The red present is called Skill Packet Gift, and the green present is called a Talent Packet Gift. Through the Skill Packet, you're able to pick out 4 Skills available, while the Talent Packet Gift can give 2 Talents. Though do be reminded, the skills and talents listed are at random, epic and legendary skills and talents cannot be found through them! Now good luck! Have fun!"

The letter puffs into smoke and she looks at herself through the lake, before sighing. She takes out a green present and opens it up, the present shatters into light before reforming into 5 Cards. To what the cards are, there was no knowing unless looking at the color they emit, as one of them is glowing blue. From what she knows, there is 5 Grades for skills, Common is white, Uncommon is green, Rare is blue, Epic is purple, and Legendary is yellow.

Selecting the blue card, it flips around and reveals itself to be....

[ Talent: Superhuman Reaction | Grade: Rare(blue) | Cost: None | Effect: +10% Evasion, +5% Movement Speed, and +5% Detection ]

If it was in some anime or cartoon, her jaw would be dropping, as this skill is hard to obtain, even if it was a rare grade, it is what considered super rare. Zakurez picked out a random common skill to see how lucky she would get, but sadly, it was an easily obtainable common skill, Enhanced Strength, it increased 1% Damage and Muscle Power.

Opening her red present, 10 cards appeared, and coincidently, there was a right amount of cards that she could pick off right... which she did.

[ Skill: Vampiric Drain | Grade: Rare(blue) | Cost: 25 Aether | Effect: The next attack heals the amount of damage inflicted ]

[ Skill: Aether Ammunition | Grade: Rare(blue) | Cost: 10 Aether | Effect: Create an Arrow, Bolt, or Bullet out of Aether ]

[ Skill: Burning Blade | Grade: Uncommon(green) | Cost: 20 Aether | Effect: Embue the weapon with Fire Element | Duration: 1 Attack ]

[ Skill: Aether Blast | Grade: Uncommon(green) | Cost: 30 Aether | Effect: Inflict 100 Aether Damage, 5% Chance Knockback ]

Looking at these, Zakurez was dumbfounded, she was familiar with these skills and talents, she was pretty happy that she could have these without having the Classes that gave these skills. If she remembered correctly, the talent, [ Superhuman Reaction ], is from rarer Assassin-Type Classes, [ Enhanced Strength ] comes from common Fighter-Type Classes. [ Vampiric Drain ] comes off classes like , , , and a few other Vampire titled classes.

[ Aether Ammunition ] is notably from 4 Classes, , , , and . [ Burning Blade ] and [ Aether Blast ] are some of the most easily obtainable skills from Magic-User-Type, and Warrior-Type.

With this, and info brought to her by the letter, she started to revise her thoughts on picking out the Brawler Guardian Class, even though it was a Hybrid-Class of Defender-Type and Fighter-Type, it has the flaws of being incapable of attacking in a distance.

Zakurez started to rethink the class she's going to main, she is still going to go for a Hybrid-Type Class, but it has to encompass 3 things, capable of surviving the powerful attack, fight up-close, and from afar. If she has these 3 things, she wouldn't have too many weaknesses, and they would be easily dealt with through the Subclasses and the Secondary Class. Thinking about it, she thought that there might be some new classes out in the world, and so she pumps up her fists and decided to try to get the Class through Shield and Spear, as these 2 items would definitely bring about the class that has strong Survivability, Strength, and Range.

As there was much more freedom of action and wasn't just a game, she is allowed to do so much more. So she grabs a fallen branch and wields it temporarily until she could wield a weapon properly. Looking at herself, Zakurez regrets making her body to being to abnormally dreamy to the male eyes. Her ragged linen tunic is being lifted by her breast to the point where her belly button is showing, while her trousers were incapable of not showing how plump her buttocks are.

[ Ragged Tunic | Grade: Common(white) | Defence: 0-1 | Durability: 10/10 | Effect: None ]

[ Ragged Trouser | Grade: Common(white) | Defence: 0-1 | Durability: 10/10 | Effect: None ]

Zakurez was only wearing the tunic and trousers, everything else was bare, and luckily the soft grassy grounds are free of any sharp pebbles.

Walking through the grass, she immediately encounters her first enemy, a squirrel, but not just any squirrel, a Ferocious Squirrel. These squirrels have a greyish black hide, sharp claws, and fangs, and their eyes are red as blood.

The squirrel jumps at her and she swung her branch club right at it. On impaction, the squirrel went flying before hitting a tree, it quickly got back on its feet and ran right back at her, before getting hit once more.

Zakurez repeated this until it finally drops dead, they were pretty easy to handle right? Wrong, Zakurez was only able to do this as she was very familiar with its attack patterns and had killed this creature so many times, she pretty much lost count or even a record for it. These Ferocious Squirrels are very deadly in their attacks against beginners and they are tiny, and the players themselves have no weapon, to begin with. Thankfully it was reality and Zakurez was able to use a fallen branch as a weapon than with her fists.

Zakurez walks over to the corpse and holds a firm grasp on it, a transparent screen like a notification pop up in games appeared before her, a smile risen. On the screen was either Manual or Loot, as for what they are, Manual is to personally skin the hide, harvest its flesh and organs, etc., while Loot is to get drops. But those the Loot Option is risky, as there is a chance to get nothing or get real little, like getting 1 single scale-out the supposedly hundreds that a person could've gotten.

Obviously, she picked the Loot Option as she currently doesn't have anything to harvest anything from it, unless she wants to ruin a perfect corpse and have no use for it. Ferocious Squirrels have 3 things it could drop, 1 single copper coin, a shiv, or a super rare drop that is a dagger.

Zakurez was hoping for it to drop a shiv or even possibly the dagger. As she presses on the Loot Option, a new screen pops up in its place with the word Loot on top and in the square below it, shows an icon of a copper coin. "F***!!!!!!", she threw the coin into the ground the moment it appeared in her hands, looking at the coin in anger, she sighs and picks it up, storing it into her inventory, then leaves to look for more creatures in this infamous forest called, Vermin Forest.

Within this forest, if she recalls it correctly, there are 5 species, including the Ferocious Squirrel she just killed. There are the Horned Foxes, Wind Ferrets, Spider Rodents, and Ant-Roaches. From their names, it would be mostly easy to tell what look like and all, but I'm gonna be telling you bits and pieces for more detailed info on them.

Horned Foxes are like you any average fox, but with a horn shaped a bit like a blade, but still a horn. They're quick on their feet and their attack pattern is pretty simple, they would mostly charge with their horn pointing at the target. It's like they are incapable of dealing damage in a different way, the only thing special is their horn, everything else is pretty much non-lethal.

Wind Ferrets are just white ferrets who're much quicker than any creature in this forest, they can throw blades of wind at their enemies, that is pretty much it. Spider Rodents is a spider and rodent combined, as to how they fight, they would just go up close and try to bite or claw their target. and Ant-Roaches are Ants and Cockroaches combined, they have high vitality and they attack with their mouth pincers.

Each one has its own unique drop, Horned Foxes commonly drops short spears and rarely drops normal length spears. Wind Ferrets are axes and whips, Ant-Roaches have hammers and shields, and lastly, Spider Rodents drops shortswords or longswords. So pretty much this place is where players can get their starting weapon.

Encountering another creature was pretty easy in this forest, after passing a few trees and bushes, along with a few turns, she encounters a Wind Ferret. Wielding her branch, Zakurez jumps to the left as a wind blade flies past her, she dashes right at the Wind Ferret and swung the branch to be dodged by the Wind Ferret with its quick speed.

Wind blades flew by Zakurez, and I'm kinda feel weirded out by saying the name supposedly for a game and is now her actual name, so I'm gonna remove the "z" at the end to be more comfortable.

So, as the wind blades blew past Zakure's body, her ragged tunic became even more tattered, her clothes were too fragile. Zakure held a hard time beating the sh*t out of this little sh*t, constantly dodging Zakure's attacks and tattering her clothes. Her health has reached around 40%. Her ragged tunic and trousers now barely cover her skin, at most, it covers her private parts, but that is all, it's almost at the point of being useless.

Soon, Zakure bashes her branch onto the Wind Ferret's body, flying it onto a try. It was stunned for a moment, but it was enough for her to rush up to it and trap it to the ground with her branch. She holds it down with her left hand and left foot, her right knee and foot were against the floor to balance herself, and with her right fist, she rains a barrage of fists to its face, venting her anger.

When a point was added to her experience bar, she stops and lays down against the tree, staring down at the badly mutilated head of the Wind Ferret. Bring up the looting, she prays deeply to the Gods and Goddesses of Fortune, and when a ding sounded out, she looks and her eyes were dead. Tears flow out as a whip was dropped into her hands, in anger and madness, she uses the whip to lash out at the nearby trees.

"WHY?! WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE THE WHIP! I DIDN'T WANT TO BE THIS LUCKY!!!!" Now down onto her knees, she curls up, and cries deeply, cursing everyone and everything for her misfortune.

When she was done crying, she searches for another prey to kill and vent everything she has on it. She appraises the whip before going up to her next opponent, to check if it was the same as before.

[ Wind Ferret Whip | Grade: ??? | Type: ??? | Attack: ??? | Durability: ??? | Effects: ??? ]

Looking at the question marks, she shrugs at this, she knew it was gonna be like this. In this game, there are the Mastery Skills from the Mastery List, and on the Mastery List, within the Crafting Mastery Section, there is the Appraising Mastery Skill that deals with appraising items and monsters. With this Mastery Skill, Zakure is able to identify and see the stats on the items or monsters. To do that, Zakure has to sacrifice the item or the monster's corpse, along with an Appraisal Tool, which looks like a Magnifying Glass. Thankfully they identify the entire thing, and all the dropped items don't have variations, like having more attack points or have different effects, those are for crafted items. For monsters though, it's a bit different, their corpse has to be sacrificed a few more times to get them right, and they have a habitat section, so if they were found in different places, those creatures from the different location must have their corpse sacrificed to have it be logged.

But Zakure has played the game, surely she knows the stats on the whip, and that is a yes, she does know, but she is unsure if it is the same as it was in the game, as right now, the gods have created the world, combined all the series and franchises, so there might be some changes. What she knows for sure is that Wind Ferrets have 20 Health points, and its Attack points are around 2 to 4, due to it has a fast attack speed and mostly attacks at a distance. So her branch should deal around 1-3 Damage, and surprisingly, its durability should be around 20 to 30 points.

Well, Zakure faces off her new opponent, an Ant-Roach, and its appearance is even more disgusting than what it was in the game. Attacking first, Zakure lashes out her whip and landing its end onto its head. The Ant-Roach screeches in pain and its eyes glow red, signifying it is in an Enraged State.

It charges at Zakure with its mouth pincers wide open, showing its disgusting mouth and sharp teeth. Zakure jumps and rolls to the side, dodging the Ant-Roach as it crashes into the tree she was in front of. Taking advantage of its stunned state, Zakure lashes out a few more strikes before wrapping the whip around one of its legs and throwing it to another tree nearby as it was about to leave the state it was in.

This was the fighting style of most whip users, lashing out painful strikes before getting it to charge at them and stunning them, then throwing them around to inflict even more debuffs. Though there are many creatures who would get into such states or attacks, or even being too heavy to throw around. Whip Users also have many other ways to deal with such situations, but Zakure isn't going to be a Whip User, so we wouldn't go into much detail about the fighting styles of Whip Users.

Zakure would soon have the Ant-Roach dead on the floor, and looting it. What comes out was a hammer, her eyes become even more dead than they should be. Wielding the whip on her left and the hammer on her right, she goes off against another Ant-Roach using the style of a Whip and Hammer User.

When the Ant-Roach was stunned, she lashes a few strikes before lashing onto it and throwing it into the air, and slamming it down onto the ground. On the floor, she whips it closer to her and she heavily swung down the hammer onto its face constantly. This style was to constantly get the target to be nearly infinitely in a stunned state where it cannot resist.

Looting it, it drops another hammer which she stores into her inventory. Speeding up the hunting adventure, Zakure took up the entire day searching for her desired weapon set. She killed 3 Ferocious Squirrels, 3 Ant-Roaches, 2 Wind Ferrets, and 4 Horned Foxes, this list included the one she killed before. The 2 Ferocious Squirrels dropped a copper coin and shiv, while the Ant-Roach came at later hunt, but it did drop the Shield she wanted. The Wind Ferret dropped a copper coin and the Horned Foxes dropped 2 copper coins, and 2 short spears. Though she wanted a Spear, short spears are acceptable.

Looking at the coming dusk, Zakure goes back to the Lake as she didn't journey far off from the lake. Bringing a Ferocious Squirrel along with her, taking out the shiv, she cuts open its stomach and leaving it hanging so its blood would leave its meat. Zakure went around picking up dried branches, leaves, and grass straws. Unlike the real world where science and technology rule, this world is ruled by Magic than Science, so following this, Zakure can probably conjure fire than having to find proper tools and spin sticks until there is smoke or fire.

So, Zakure tries to conjure fire through the teaching taught to her by the world when it was just a game. She tries to sense mana or Aether, as the world calls it, even though there is the Mana Attribute, that signifies her Aether Capacity and regeneration of it. Zakure gathers the Aether she could sense with her will, they gathered towards the piled up grass straws and leaves she points them to when they are there, she wills it to burn, turning its pure Arcane Element to the Ignis Element.

Feeling the warmth, she opens her eyes and sees the pile burning as she wanted it to. Smiling at her success, she looks at her status board and sees some of the new things that were changed and added. She gained an Affinity, which is Ignis, or Fire, her Strength was upped once due to throwing monsters around. Evasion was upped once for doing some easy dodges, Vitality, Endurance, and Stamina were upped twice for taking soo much damage from Wind Ferrets, and a bit from Horned Foxes and Ferocious Squirrels.

From this Zakure now discovers a way to improve her stats from not just leveling up, she could up them through training. Her experience bar was 12 out of 100, which is nice, but she would have to kill 88 more monsters from the Vermin Forest to reach 1 Level, which she ain't gonna do, she's going to get to the next Forest that'll give more Exp than here.

Adding a few branches into the fire, Zakure starts to do Push-ups, Squats, Sit-ups, Lunges, Chin-ups on the trees, and a few other exercises. Though as she does them, she finds her breasts getting in her way, being pressed, or making things difficult for her. Which is pretty obvious, but these won't stop her from improving her stats.

Staying awake all night, dissected the squirrel's body and ate its cooked meat, relieving her hunger, and drinking from the clear lake to clear her thirst. She faced off against monsters who were more active as they would be since it is the night, the very time they would be active than during the night. Sometimes, they would appear in groups, if different creatures appear, they would sometimes fight each other, while other times they would team-up. If they fight each other, it would make things less difficult for her.

Through this experience, she gained 17 Exp, 71 Exp more to go. Since there were 17 Exp gained, she fought 6 Spider Rodents, 3 Ferocious Squirrels, 3 Horned Foxes, 4 Ant-Roaches, and 1 Wind Ferret. The Spider Rodents dropped 4 Copper Coins and 2 Shortswords, Ferocious Squirrels dropped 1 copper coin, and 2 Shivs, Horned Foxes dropped 2 copper coins and a Spear thankfully. With the spear, her chances to get the classes for the weapon will certainly appear. The Ant-Roaches dropped 2 Hammers, and 2 Shields, while the Wind Ferret drops an Axe.

Now that she has an Axe, Zakure starts chopping down trees and then onto quarters to make 4 long, thick pieces from those logs. With these, she hammers them down next to a lone tree and makes a hut with them. She covers the roof with the branches with leaves, tied together with grass straws and layered. As for the entrance, she tied a bunch of branches to 2 long sticks and have them cover the entrance. With that, she covers the floor with grass straws, plain grass, and leaves onto the floor, with that, she slept to relieve her built-up fatigue.

.....

She wakes up to the setting sun, goes out of her hut to wash her face and clear her thirst before going out to hunt for food. Sadly her first opponent wasn't edible, it was an Ant-Roach, and she wasn't willing to eat that, so after killing and gaining a copper coin, she goes off to kill a Horned Fox which she hunted, skinned, and then butchered. Gaining its hide, organ, meat, eyes, bones, claws, and teeth.

Appraising each part, its organs, eyes, brain, etc. were tossed out, while keeping the flesh, hide, bones, claws, and teeth. Zakure dries out the Flesh and then cooks it while tossing the Hide onto the floor of the hut to be the Fur Mattress or the bed. Placing the Bones and all into her inventory, she meditates for a while trying to sense the Aether all around her.

When the meat was cooked, she takes the skewers out, tears the meat off the sticks with her teeth, and into her stomach. When she finishes up, she puts the skewer stick into the fire, enters her hut, covering the entrance, Zakure now fully focuses on her meditation, as she is going to do something experimental. She was gonna improve her physique, Aether Capacity, and her Non-Physical Attributes.

She was gonna try to do Cultivation from those Xianxia Games and Novels she reads on the side to understand much of the genre. But unlike those in the game and novels, she wasn't going to create a dantian, she was gonna make her cores in her core and brain. As to why she wasn't going to follow through those games and novels where she could possibly gain immortality, she was gonna increase her Aether Capacity and Attributes.

So, her plan was to create the cores, or core into her heart first before creating one in her brain where they would connect, as she was gonna make her brain be the place where Aether concentratedly gather Aether and then transfer them to her heart where the container and distributer be. From her heart, she would transfer the aether throughout her body through the veins and all, and then from those veins and all is where they would strengthen her body, limbs, organs, and everything that makes up her body. She would also try to gather Aether from her body, it would be like her brain be the main gatherer and her body be the secondary. If possible, she would try to strengthen her soul or just any non-physical traits. Overall, she wants to strengthen her entirety to the limit.

With this experimental theory, she first gathers the Aether all around her into her heart, where it would gather and form into a near physical object. But as she gathers and fills her heart, she wasn't able to form a container for the gather Aether, so to fix that, she tries to make her actual heart by the container, and so, she transforms and imbues her heart with Aether, enhancing and transforming her heart with Aether so many times, it turned into something different to what it was before, and it was now able to contain Aether.

With this, she does this to her brain, but a bit differently, as its structure is obviously different from the heart. As she was doing this, she could feel the change of her intelligence, memories she long-forgotten started to come back, and she felt a bit wiser as it goes on. From this, she started to notice that she was starting to use more of her brain where it was scientifically told that we hardly use a high percentage of our brain.

With her increase of intelligence, wisdom, and memorization, she started to reconfigure her plan, theory, etc., to further improve her brain usage, she even changed its structure to improve the usage and its capabilities as an Aether Gathering Machine.

It soon came to completion, she then connects it to her heart, and then from her heart to her entire body system. She revised it many times as the flaws come in, and when it came to near perfection, she started to notice another flaw, it and both a benefit and a downside. Zakure notices that her capability of expressing emotions was degraded, at most, she would show visible anger, happiness, and disgust. Everything else is pretty much inexpressible, it was a benefit as she wasn't too influenced in anger or madness, but the downside was that she cannot express much happiness or joy for herself or someone else.

She soon discards the thought as a benefit as she was an introvert, she wasn't an extrovert where they would interact and express themselves. Zakure fixes her Technique a couple of times, so now it wouldn't ideally automatically improve her body and capacity. It would at most improve her Aether Capacity and the regeneration, the Aether that is spread throughout her body would be imbued into her every part and then enhanced whenever she is injured, exhausted, or overexerting herself in Combat or Training. This technique would be like a way to quickly gain points into her attributes through training or combat, than just gaining them while doing nothing.

Zakure would wake up to the sun rising but the leaves, grass, and wood were more dryer. Her tree was a bit different, it looked a bit larger, when she checks outside, she could see a huge difference from what she remembers. The campfire she made had its charcoals and dust everywhere as if a creature came by and broke the pile threw them around. Everything else would be something you readers could guess of, trees were taller or older, monster tracks, etc.

Zakure would only think of things, it would be that she was in a state of being out sync with time. Zakure theorized that it might happen, but seeing really happen and being the person who entered the state made her really amazed. To think that it was really possible to be in a state where people will feel out of sync with the world, time, and space.

Well, being amazed and all, she went back to the objective she was seeking, self-improvement. From her cells to the flesh, every part of her body is filled with aether to the brink, so she needs to really expend them and not have them stay filled for a long time.

Zakure stores the hide mattress, equips the medium-sized and weighted chitin shield, aka Ant-Roach Shield, while wielding the Horned Fox Spear. Zakure enters the forest and almost immediately, she encounters a Horned Fox. Raising her shield to her front and the spear readied on the side, slowly walking up to it, the Horned Fox growls and charges at her. Zakure was almost pushed back, but she held on, standing her ground. The Horned Fox yelps and falls down after failing to push her back or damage the shield. Zakure pierces at the Horned Fox as the fox was trying to itself back together. The fox once again yelps, but at the spear stabbing into its body.

Zakure wasn't going to stop after getting the blade into its body, she pushes the spear harder into its body, soon, it fully penetrated through the fox's body. Zakure pulls out a short spear and stabs it into the fox's head, the fox was now dead, pulling out her spears, she loots its corpse to just gain a copper coin, she goes on her way for the next forest.

Along the way to the next forest, she is met with many foes standing in her way. From her the Horned Fox to the next forest's entrance, she fought against 30 vermins. 11 Wind Ferrets, 7 Ferocious Squirrels, 5 Ant-Roaches, 5 Horned Foxes, and 2 Spider Rodents. The Loot she gained were 21 copper coins, 4 axes, 1 shiv, 1 dagger, 2 hammers, and 1 spear.

Her inventory started to fill up, as there was a total of 25 units of space, and she collected 6 hammers, 1 whip, 4 shivs, 2 Shields, 2 short spears, 1 Spear, 5 axes, 1 dagger, A Horned Fox Hide, Horn, and Skull. Counting this up, the space would be nearly maxed out, as for the Bones, Claws, and Fangs that she had collected, she threw them out as there was no use for them, and at most, they could be used for practicing her Handicraft Mastery Skill, but she doesn't have time for that.

To free up space, Zakure opened her Mastery List, into the Crafting Mastery Section, and then the Forging Mastery Skill, through this, she is able to create weapons or armor. But that would require a medium like an anvil and hammer for repairing, an actual forge, and equipment set to craft or adjust equipment. But to dismantle items into the material, that requires no medium, just a chance to get the materials that make it up.

An example would be Ant-Roach Shield, which is made out of Low-Grade Chitin and Low-Grade Bronze. There is the possibility to get 0-2 Low-Grade Chitin or Iron, but it is definitely gonna give at least one of the materials. Even though there is a Species name after the item, it doesn't mean that item has the material used from the species to make what it is. As it would at least be made out of Bronze and Wood for item drops.

Zakure dismantles the Hammers, Shivs, Whip, and 3 axes, obtaining 13 Low-Grade Bronzes, 1 Low-Grade Leather Piece, and 2 Wood Piece. Now she has 11 free spaces, with this, she is capable of storing more crap!

Upon stepping into the new forest area, the surroundings started to dim and turned gloomy all of a sudden. She took a few steps through the forest and encountered a Spider Rodent, but unlike the first area, the ones in this area are more stronger looking.

Though I have seemingly had some holes here and there about the Vermin Forest and the equipment, I'll just say this here and now. There are 3 Sections on the Vermin Forest as Zakure walks farther and farther out of the forest. The Inner Section is where players start off and get their starting weapons, the midsection is where they start to get their armor and face off a stronger version of the mobs in the inner section. The Outer Section is where they would face off the more powerful versions and obtain the more upgraded version of their equipment.

With that said, Zakure dashes towards the Spider Rodent, with her shield raised, she bashes it into the Spider Rodent's face. She follows it with a spear stabbed right under its jaws. Pulling out, Zakure hits the Spider Rodent in the eye with the pointy edge of the shield. Zakure stabs the spear into its body, letting go of the spear, she quickly takes out a short spear and stabs it into its eyes, pulling out another short spear to be stabbed into its eyes.

The Spider Rodent screeches in pain and unwillingness to die, but after stabbing it in the eyes constantly, it let goes of its life and drops dead. Zakure gains 2 Exp Points, while the loot she obtains is 1 copper coin and a leather tunic armor.

With the leather tunic armor in hand, its appearance was that of a shirt, Zakure wasn't able to equip the armor like it was in the game. The leather tunic armor made her question its design and capabilities. She took off her ragged tunic and put on the leather tunic armor. When it was fully on, the shirt started to morph and wrap around Zakure's body, she felt very uncomfortable when it was moving and feeling her body. It soon took shape as an actual leather tunic armor, almost similar to what its former design was in the game. But right now, she felt very uncomfortable with just wearing tightly fitted leather armor and everything else is pretty much bare.

With that thought, Zakure quickly went out searching for more monsters.

From there, it'll be part 1, I'll be doing part 2 soon. I'm sorry for those who wanted to see the other stories or ideas as I haven't yet published them. I'll get to them when I can, all you readers can expect to see them months later, or at max a year, as not only I'm working dozens of different stories, I also got College work to be doing, so I'm sorry.

I wish everyone a good day and hope everyone is doing well. Feel free to criticize or talk crap about what I wrote, I won't give sh*t.

I warn everyone that ahead is the stuff I use to keep track of in this story, such as monster stats, Zakure's status template, races, elements, grade, qualities, etc.
